Chairs that have seen better days. No capital improvement any time soon.

This cafe always have decently priced Cantonese food. You order at the counter and then find a seat. The is no waiter service. Many of the rice dishes are still just under $6. There are you're baked breads and buns. There are cold and hot drinks. Late in the afternoon the standard group of people stay gathering after work to chat and drink coffee. The place is very rundown. Restroom is not that clean with broken knot. Handdryer that don't work and no towels. Toilet seat is broken. So enjoy the food on styrofoam plates and hope you don't need a restroom.

Looking for cheap inexpensive Cantonese food in the Main Street Flushing area? Tong's Cafe is where you can catch a quick meal morning, noon or night. Nothing fancy. You order your food by he counter and pay for it and walk your tray over to one of the available tables. It's spacious at Tong's. There are not a lot of places in Flushing for Cantonese food but this quickly became a place for me. It's super inexpensive and not fussy. And there is a ginormous fish tank in the wall. I like watching brightly colored fishes. The decor, just dont look. The chairs are torn up and falling apart. The bathroom, avoid it. Euw. The food is surprisingly decent though! I would come back. The flavors are correct, Very old fashioned Cantonese. FYI, no gratuity needed here because there is no table service.

Great HK cafe! They have great fresh pineapple buns and milk tea. Right across the street from Golden Mall.

Drinks- We ordered the Paloma- super refreshing and perfectly balanced alcohol to juice and soda water ratio. Food- we order the Chicken Club (I was craving bacon) with "extra crispy" fries (always gotta specify this for them to be cooked longer) with a side of house dressing. It was fresh, the bread was warm and crisp, the chicken was warm, tender and moist. Our extra crispy fries were perfectly crispy and the house dressing and ketchup were a great combo. We would definitely go back and recommend stopping here when you're in the LGA airport.

First, there was no one at the host stand to seat me and finally just grabbed a spot. On the plus side, the waiter (George) was prompt with my drink and overall very friendly. Where things fell apart was the food and the associated price. I got the burger and the patties were not even visible. It was dry and had very little taste. Fries as the side were as equally tasteless. All for an astronomical price of $27. Do better. I get that I'm not going to get the same quality as the original but this is nowhere close.

I watch the end of the game in here. Inside looks nice, booth is comfortable. Lively decoration with a spinning floating lightbulb in each table. The air is a bit stuffy though. I only ordered a burger as I heard from other reviewers that it is the best burger. It is quite tasty. Burger is on the smaller side, size of my palm. For $22, it also came with French fries. It is a bit more to the expensive side if I compare to what I will pay for a double burger and fries at Burger joint at 7th street burger. I guess i paid for the atmosphere. Service is ok. The waitress is very quiet. I dont think she spoke more than 20 words to me. Mostly nodding at my request. She did refill my water without me asking. However, she didnt bring me utensils. I had to use the toothpick that held the burger together to eat the leftover crumbs. My hands is a bit sticky and smell like barbecue sauce as a result of it. Thats why I deduct a star
