Mediocre pizza. Not up to NYC standards.
Craig A.

Pizza meh. Plus the cashier overcharged me and then had to do a refund. Check your receipt.

Jennifer W.

Best decision I made today was going adventurous with my order at Tony + Benny's picking the chicken tomato cheese stromboli instead of other generic pizza flavors! The chicken parm was tender, the bread wrap was warm and crisp on the edges, and the juicy tomatoes over warm cheese made it a perfection! I also ordered the spinach and cheese stromboli since it received high compliments in other reviews, and it was also a good choice, but the chicken was definitely my favorite. The service here was quick and pleasant, which sometimes can't be said at other airport counters, so definitely appreciated the extra attention and smiles here. Pro tip: once you order, shift over to the tables by the fountain to eat and you can enjoy a show with your meal! The fountain cycles through various songs about New York and is an absolute delight to watch if you're not in a rush to anywhere else.

Good diverse NY Italian Pizzeria food selections from simple to specialty slices, Stromboli's and pasta. Clean well organized and covered display of selections served up with a smile from servers behind counter. Cost for 2 Stromboli's + 1 Strawberry Lemonade [super sweet] was $30. Fast, Fresh and Delicious, can't ask for more. :)

Side of sauce

This is one of many places to eat in LGA and it's pretty darn good... at least for Italian style breakfast food it is. After placing my order I was watching the lady make other people's food and the French toast looked beautiful! Lots of people were ordering pizza for breakfast and that looked pretty good too. I tried their breakfast stromboli, spinach and egg and cheese... the dough was beautiful looking and so was the entire thing in the display case. She heated up several minutes before giving it to me. I also got a side of sauce to dip it in. When I sat down to eat it, it smelled and looked great. The flavors were fresh and spot on, especially the freshness of the spinach! Definitely would return in the future!

Cheese slice and pasta side

This is decent stuff for an airport. Had a slice of cheese and the side of pasta. Not too bad at all. The seating around these vendors is light and airy. Definitely worth checking out if you're hungry. However check out all options. I immediately went for pizza and regretted it after seeing the Korean chicken menu

Looks way better than it tasted

If you are looking for a real New York pizza, this ain't it. Was passing through my beloved hometown and hoped to grab a slice of New York pizza. It looked OK, but as soon as I got it, I realized the dough was super thick and bready. The bottom was greasy as if it was made in a pan. So disappointed and so expensive for what I received.

Grading on a curve at the airport, this spot was a follow up choice after a disaster nearby. Not much of a line as patrons ordered their slices which got warmed up in the oven to go. Decided on the Grandma Slice ($6ish) and a Jarritos ($?). Pizza-warming takes about 3 minutes while I waited for the drink as well. Overall the slice isn't half bad, not overly doughy and an Evan amount of cheese and sauce. Definitely not the freshest around but pretty good all things considered. They do have other options here as well (strombolis, pizza rolls), but it's best to stick with the pizza. One of the better options in the food court.

Spinach, egg, and cheese Stromboli with sausage added.
Kasinda T.

The service was very friendly and they were accommodating with my request to add sausage. This is in the airport across from a fountain that displays a light show. Lots of people are walking around heading to their gate to fly to unknown gestations but they take a minute to enjoy their food and the water display. I guess the ambiance depends on how much time you have.

margherita slice and garlic knots
Daniel B.

I was in an airport. Did I really expect top-notch pizza? Probably not. Was I still a bit disappointed in the margherita slice I had? Yes. It was pretty doughy, and just didn't have the experience I want when I bite into a slice. That said, the gigantic garlic knots were delicious and the star of the show. Serviceable for an airport - just keep your expectations in check.

Breakfast Hero with Sausage
Bruno F.

If I were to find this business outside of the airport, I would most definitely avoid it. It's a poor excuse to charge extra for basic items. Their menu is jacked up to make up for those airport fees, which is horrible. I ordered the breakfast hero and a hash brown. The picture displayed on the menu board is far from the truth. I ended up with Ciabatta bread instead of Italian. The image is so inflated, it looks like you're getting a good size sandwich. I ended up paying over $20 for this hero, which is absurd. The sandwich doesn't include any meat, and once you ask for sausage or bacon, it drives up the price even more. Their food lacks any flavor and it's so bland. I hate to say this but you'll have better luck at Wendy's and will probably pay far less. The staff is pretty friendly, which gives the review an extra star.

Receipt. Wish I only ordered one slice. That's all i ended up eating

The space is quaint and cozy, but what really made the night unforgettable was the hospitality, especially Grissel. From the moment we sat down, she made us feel genuinely cared for. Her knowledge of the menu, thoughtful recommendations, and ability to read the table were next-level. We all had different tastes and interests, and she somehow managed to guide us perfectly without ever feeling rushed or scripted. I honestly can't remember the last time we all felt so welcomed and celebrated at a restaurant. The food was outstanding across the board. The bruschetta was simple, fresh, and easily the best I've had. I ordered the rigatoni with vodka sauce (add chicken), and if you're lucky enough to hear about the vodka sauce, don't hesitate. Every dish at the table impressed: ravioli, clams, risotto, and eggplant pomodoro with shrimp. All big hits. Even the chef stopped by at one point to share recommendations, which made the experience feel even more special and personal. We left feeling full, happy, and already talking about when we'd come back. An unforgettable girls' night, amazing food, and hospitality that truly stands out. Can't wait to return.

When we walked in, it felt more like a busy pizzeria with a dining area than the trendy spot we were expecting. The place was packed, and we ended up waiting about 30 minutes for a table. Once seated, we noticed right away that the menu didn't match what we had seen online. In the videos, every pasta dish came with burrata, but here it was an extra charge. The bread bowl itself was also a $7 add-on, which pushed the $25 pasta dishes to nearly $40 each -- a price that simply doesn't make sense for what you get. Staff was friendly, but the busboys seemed completely untrained, and service overall was slow. We did receive our minestrone soup quickly, but it was just okay. The soup's kidney beans and chickpeas were noticeably undercooked. When the pasta arrived, the disappointment continued. The burrata, which we paid extra for, was cold and hard rather than creamy. Even the waitress seemed surprised when we pointed it out. We also noticed that the regular pasta dishes (served in normal bowls) were much larger portions than the bread-bowl pastas -- despite the bread bowls costing more. At the end of the meal, the reality became clear: the bread-bowl trend is more gimmick than substance. With two pasta dishes and one soup totaling around $100, the value just isn't there. Unfortunately, we won't be returning. Don't be fooled by what you see on social media -- the experience simply doesn't live up to the hype.

While deciding where to go one day, this was suggested and im so glad I went. The restaurant is cozy with tables inside the main dining room and in an enclosed outdoor seating area. Im guessing it opens in the summer. I sat down with my niece while waiting for my sister and for a good 5-7 minutes, no one stopped by and gave a menu nor offered water. Finally after about 3 people walked by not saying anything, someone came. The area is not that big and 7 minutes isnt that long but to sit there any not be addressed by all the staff walking by was annoying. Finally my sister came and we were offered water and a menu. After hearing about the specials and asking for recommendations, we settled on the gnocchi (housemade potato gnocchi, burrata, peas, pesto sauce, toasted pine nuts), Pappardelle alla Bolognese (housemade ribbon pasta, meat sauce), and side of sautéed spinach. The food arrived and we were pleasantly delightful by the main. The gnocchi was so soft and creamy, the sauce was delicious. Im not a fan of gnocchi but this was so good. The papardelle was my meal and it was also so good. There was a lot of pasta and a good amount of meat sauce. It was also delicious. The spinach on the other hand was bland. It has no flavor and we had to add some salt. A few times we tried to call someone over to our table but felt like no one was paying attention. When we were done with our meals, my sister had a few pieces of gnocchi left. She asked for a box as it was to be my nieces lunch for tomorrow. I then said, can you also box up the spinach. A few minutes later, the server dropped off a bag with one container and said here's the spinach. We tried to call his attention but he was already walking away. Where was the gnocchi. Finally when we came back, we asked about it and he said oh I thought it was garbage. I said no we asked for it to be boxed. He said let me talk to the kitchen. He came back and said sorry, they cant do anything but one dessert will be on me. I guess thats fine but we more wanted the food for the baby. For dessert we ordered a tiramisu and pistachio gelato. The tiramisu was in a jar as opposed to a cake slice. One bite of the ice cream and I knew it was bad. It was grainy and sandy texture. I looked up why that would be and one reason stated it could be improper storage, like it was unfrozen or melted then refrozen. I wasn't chancing that. I told the server and said I couldn't eat it. He offered another dessert but I said know, then offered a limoncello shot. While I appreciate the offer, we weren't drinking before so that wasn't the best option to offer. I just said im fine without a replacement. When we got the bill, the dessert was taken off like he said he would. We paid and left. Overall the main course/pasta meals were delicious. The sides and desserts could use work. Service was alright. Id definitely come back for the food and to try some of the pizza.

Branzino Special with Cannelli Beans and Swiss Chard. This was the winner of the evening. The cripsy skin was amazing. The fish was cooked to perfection, the cannelli beans I thought were going to be weird but it added a nice creaminess to the fish. Lastly the swiss chard was crunchy on the ends and nice and tender on the leaf. This should be put on the regular menu. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=Y_iTTjKvV5hLy-880SZzlA&select=xNVfJCmf89OOY-1ME3FY7Q Controfiletto- grilled prime angus N.Y. strip steak served with roasted marble potatoes. I hate to say it but as good as the steak was, the roasted potatoes was the star of show. The potatoes were amazing. Pappardelle alla Bolognese- housemade ribbon pasta, meat sauce. This was good but came off a bit plain. The pasta was homemade but it was almost to a fault since the pasta came out too soft. The flavors were good but I felt this would have been a better, reheated the next day kind of dish.

Our server was very pleasant and happened to be the only one working at the time, though with so few guests, it seemed to be all that was needed. We ordered the three-course lunch special. One set included the meatballs to start, followed by the chicken Parmesan and bomboloni for dessert. The other included a Caesar salad, tagliatelle Bolognese, and tiramisu. There was a bit of a longer-than-expected gap between the appetizer and the entrée, especially considering we were essentially the only table being served, as the other guests had already finished their meal. That was a little frustrating. Aside from that, most of the food was solid. The only real disappointment was the chicken Parmesan, which was quite overcooked. It was unfortunate given that the kitchen was only cooking for the two of us. That said, the mashed potatoes, an unusual pairing with chicken Parmesan were excellent: perfectly creamy and incredibly smooth. The tiramisu was also quite good, but the real standout was the bomboloni. I was genuinely surprised by how much I enjoyed them, since fried doughnuts wouldn't normally be my first choice for dessert. I would definitely return.
