Chick Fil A is a great fast food place when you're craving some chicken sandwiches. Since my work office moved to Simi Valley, we are now closer to a Chick Fil A so I took advantage of trying this location out. I opted in for the curbside pickup through the Click Fil A app, the only thing I would change about their online order is that they give you you estimated time on when to pick up for food. It's because your order is not made until you get to the curbside pickup spot and check in so of course you'll have to wait. I got the Club with American chesse, with large fries and a cherry coke. The curbside pickup area is where the drive thru exit so look for that area. It's not the most efficient area for pickup cause you can get stuck there if ita busy. It took about 6-10 minutes for my food to come out and get deliver to my car. The club sandwich was good but you can only request for 1 sauce through the app. Same for the French fries, they give you a max of 2 quantity of sauces. read more

I did a mobile order for curbside pickup, the app told me someone was bringing my food out, except no one ever came out. So I called them & just told them & then my food was brought out shortly, they did give me 3 coupons. 2. My shake! I never order shakes & this is the reason one, when I was drinking it I noticed the texture wasn't right & I knew it wasn't a chunk of Oreo, when I spit it out this chunk of something weird came out? This is a great restaurant. They are very fast with their service. The food is always tasty and just the right temperature. I like to dine in, but the drive through and delivery service are excellent. The service is great. Everyone is very friendly and attentive. Even when it's very busy you get excellent service. The world needs more kids like this! Thanks to this business for emphasizing how important the way we interact with each other is. I wish they were open on Sundays but I understand why they are not. My only suggestion is that the corporation reconsider and open on Sundays and donate the proceeds from Sunday sales to charitable causes - this way we still get the great food and they still get to honor their christian beliefs. We waited and waited. Finally the construction phase was over and the excitement built to a crescendo. We couldn't wait for the opening of the only Chick fil A in Simi. Some of us camped out at night to qualify for a one year worth of free chicken from this place. But then reality hit. The doors opened for business and we were struck with brutal disappointment The service was mediocre, the prices high for fast food and the portions were incredibly small. The taste of Chick fil A is always unmistakable and their sauce is very good, but overall this place certainly let us down. We didn't have the same consistent quality food coming out of the kitchen. Their chicken sandwiches didn't taste fresh and their chicken nuggets were ridiculously small. The bathrooms were not clean. The workers seemed overworked and displayed a callous indifference. Their apathy came across as rude and unwelcoming. We won't be back. We rather drive to Northridge and eat at the Chick fil A off of Tampa. read more

I was probably just as excited as anyone that we have our own Chick Fil A now. I went for breakfast and dinner on opening day. Breakfast wasn't as busy and ordering was easy, but dinner was absolutely packed with a line of people out the door and two lanes of cars, no less than 30. Even with all that can go wrong on the first day, the restaurant was clean, the staff properly trained and the orders accurately delivered. The food is consistent and fresh and the staff is very friendly and attentive. Like all places, they will have their growing pains, but a great start never the less. I recommend mobile ordering from the app if you're in a time crunch. Like most Chick Fil A restaurants, there's plenty of parking, a large and clean dining room and very kid friendly. The employees are very nice and always smiling, despite how busy it can get. I also got to meet the owners wife while in line. Very sweet women. The double drive thru lanes are each manned with order takers with tablets. Mobile ordering apps for ordering ahead, saving more time. What a GREAT experience! Went tonight for dinner, around 7:30. Drive thru line was insanely long so we went inside. Line was out the door. By the time we ordered and got our food was 15 min. Total. Staff was incredibly nice, fast, efficient and just amazing. Would of never known it was their first night. Our food was right, it was beyond hot, got all the sauces we asked for.
