This is hands down my favorite Chick-fil-A location. The owner is often there in person and is incredibly friendly and hands-on. I've seen him taking orders, helping fulfill them, and even shoveling outside. You can tell he truly enjoys his work, and that positive energy carries through to the entire team. The employees always seem genuinely happy to be there. The location is always very clean and well decorated, even decorated during the holidays. We stopped in today for my son's birthday breakfast, and the owner surprised him with a Chick-fil-A cow, which absolutely made his day. It was such a thoughtful and memorable gesture. We also ordered catering for his birthday party, and as always, it was delivered hot, fresh, and right on time. Exceptional service, every single visit. read more

It was Christmas Eve and about an hour before this Chikfila closed.. The line was busy and the staff was still smiling.. the ambiance was calm and the food was A MazIng!!! As far as fast food goes, they are solid. My order was ready in a timely fashion. I did the drive thru so I can't speak to the appearance of the inside. I'd been wanting to try the spicy pimento sandwich. It was good, although the pimento spread itself was a bit cold/room temp which felt weird. Chicken itself was adequate. I ordered a kale crunch as a side but didn't find out until getting to the window that they were out of that, so I got a regular side salad. It was just that--regular. Not bad. I had been looking forward to the kale crunch though. I got avocado ranch dressing which was yummy. Best part was the banana pudding milkshake. It was super creamy and I think may have even had real bananas in it? Super good. read more

Service was impeccable! Greeted the moment you walk up and ready to serve you! I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich meal with a five count of breaded chicken nuggets! After taking my order I was too to have a seat and they will bring it right over. The ambience of this establishment was very nice! Clean and really organized! Food came over right away and did not disappoint. It was fresh as always and hit all the right spots! I must say I appreciate how generous you guys are with your sauces! Kids love this place, so we stopped on our way back from Greece. Our order consisted of the traditional number one chicken sandwich meal, the new signature BBQ bacon sandwich, a 30 pack of nuggets, 2 extra fries, 2 chocolate shakes and a fruit cup. Order was brought to our table, and nearly the entire order was wrong. Shakes were vanilla with cookies, the nugget box was filled with tenders instead of nuggets, the bbq sandwich was on a regular roll vs. the sweeter roll as advertised. We immediately brought the employee back over, and explained / show her the issues. She immediately went back to the kitchen and brought everything out correctly within 5-7 minutes. I made the effort to locate a supervisor, and a regional happened to be there that day. I called out the staff member who fixed all the issues and saved our visit. Overall, we will come here again. First, food is 4*. Other places have much better chicken sandwich (hint the place in Penfield). The problem - kids wanted some so I went to the irondequoit store.... Ordering went somewhat smoothly, though I should have picked up the problem beforehand. 2 trucks in front of me took an extraordinary long time placing orders. For one truck, 4 cars ordered while he made his order; for the other, 3. So now I'm already slowed. It only got worse as it took even longer for these 2 vehicles to get their order. I lost count at 15 cars in the other line going through. I got the food while waiting behind these 2 trucks at 5:43. I sat there in the line until 5:57. I literally could have walked over to Wendy's, put in an order, got it and drove off during the time I waited in that chick-fil-a line... I understand there is no obvious space for a long order to pull up to so that the line needs to keep moving, but every other fast food restaurant I've seen has one. they lost my business. read more

This morning we got breakfast with the family. My husband and I both ordered coffee. We know the coffee isn't great but we wanted to be economical and just get it with our breakfast. I can't believe I stayed away for a whole month. I decided to try the drive-through on a Wednesday evening around 5 PM. Once again I was disappointed. I do believe the wait staff is doing the best they can, so if that is true, then it's just a matter of this not being a suitable location. Unless you don't mind waiting 29 minutes to get a chicken sandwich. I gave this location two stars this time simply because I tried the new smokehouse barbecue chicken sandwich and I'm in love. But, not in love enough to wait 29 minutes. Actually, I think I will try one more time. I will go in store. Maybe third time will be the charm. Also, I did see the curb side order signs this time but they were in a heap on the ground probably destroyed by the snow plow. I tried to get a picture but not good line of sight. read more

Worst experience at any Chick-fil-a. Waited more than 20 mins for my mobile order. My sunjoy was basically water. I actually believed I may have lost my taste, but NOPE; it was just water. If it were possible, I would give Chick-fil-A on Ridge Road zero stars because of their customer service . I asked if I could order 3 of the 30 count nuggets, and they told me they could not separate them into 15 . I always thought that the customer could always arrange to have an order a certain way they wanted if they were ordering and also paying for the order the way they wanted it . WORST Chick-fil-A Experience ever! I've been to so many Chick-fil-A's in my life, but this one has to be the worst. I Waited for 30min just for one meal. I went inside instead of the drive thru to see if it was just the drive thru that was slow, but not only did i still wait for 30 min.. there were customers who got there food BEFORE me who came in 10min AFTER me and ordered the same amount of food. The people who work there were nice and friendly but the service wasn't great. On top of that the food didn't taste up to the Chick-fil-A quality that it usually is. In another instance i ordered 3 meals And they forgot the fries to one meal i ordered and forgot the sandwich to another and gave me no drink or sauce. I've been to this location multiple times hoping that because they opened within the last year that it will get better but it doesn't it just gets worse. They really need to train the employees better or find a different system because what they are doing here isn't good at all.. I shouldn't have to wait over 10min for fast food. Decided to check out this location for the first time. Honestly not impressed. It seems to be very common that since Chick-fil-A started allowing franchising in western and upstate NY, the core company standards are not being met and the service is no better than getting your wrong order at any other fast food business. I've lived in south and have experienced Chick-fil-A many times and this is not how it should be by far. Super slow service, orders coming out the drive thru were random and miscommunication was high. I don't recommend the irondequoit location nor will I return myself. read more

We stopped by our Irondequoit Chick-fil-A today about 10:45am to pick up a free lemonade and peach milkshake. My wife ordered on the app and we received an app update on the way. I looked at drive through no cars empty, so was thinking what is taking so long. Therefore, I decided to get out and go in restaurant. I went straight to Pick-Up counter saw my lemonade ready but no milkshake told cashier we are waiting for our milkshake. She proceeded to make it took about another 3-5 minutes which was no problem. My issue is when I went inside no customers were present only workers and I had already observed nobody in drive through. I did hear the manager talking about taking 4th of July pictures and had workers focusing on that instead of a customer in lobby. I have visited this Irondequoit Chick-fil-A several times since they have opened and they continue not to meet the Chick-fil-A standards I am accustomed to. The service is usually delayed, we have received incorrect orders and it seems they don't use the "my pleasure" when the hand you your food. Sadly, we usually have to report this to Chick-fil-A support. I am a faithful Chick-fil-A supporter and having been buying their food for over 20yrs. It is my hopes they get it together soon at this location since it is in my neighborhood. read more
