This is one the better locations. We have frequented the Ashburn and Leesburg ones and this Purcellville one is the best of the three. Drive thru is quick. They run a well oil machine at the drive thru. The indoor order process is a bit slow AND not because of the staff. It's because customers walk up to the cashier and ask lots of questions or let their kids stand there to order. Food is good. I am a lover of the chicken biscuit. I placed a catering order on 5/2/2026 for the morning of 5/4/2026 to be ready at 8 am for the start of Teacher Appreciation Week. I arrived at 8:05, with my toddlers, giving the team a few extra minutes in case they were running behind. Nothing was ready. I waited for 20 mins while they made everything. I'm frustrated that the order was not ready as there was adequate time between the time I placed the order days in advance. In addition, the restaurant had close to two hours to prepare my order. I wrote in to corporate but heard nothing back. Certainly will think twice before placing a catering order next time with the Purcellville restaurant. Disappointed. read more

I'm a CFA regular. My experience at the Purcellville location tonight was shocking. The girl who served our food (keep in mind a very slow night but it took 10-15 minutes for a medium fry and ice dream cup) literally slapped down the bag on the table, rolled her eyes, and walked away. Let's see. I worked at a Chick-Fil-A as a teenager and have tremendous respect for the company and the folks who stand behind the counter. I will say that this Chick-Fil-A provided me with the worst service and attitude of any I've been in (and that is really saying something). I get that lunchtimes are busy and fast food restaurants have re-wired themselves to serve drive-thru customers primarily. But that's no excuse for unfriendly, unhelpful, almost passive-aggressive counter service ("we're unable to give you part of your order to go and part for here") and opening just a single register. Absolutely the worst Chic-fil-a I have ever gone to ever. Trust me this place was so bad I had to make sure this was even a Chic-fil-a. I couldn't believe how slow the food was and how there were no apologies for how long the food took. If this was the only problem I could understand but to make it even worse they were out of what felt like everything! They had no Chic-fil-a sauce, no parfaits, no Polynesian sauce and countless other things I don't even remember. There was no apologies for the lack of inventory and certainly no compensation. I have been to so many Chic-fil-as over the years and I have never seen anything as bad as this. The manager has obviously no idea how to run a restaurant or how to train the employees. I will certainly never go back to this location, and I will make sure to warn all my friends to do so as well. Again this shocks me so much because of how great Chic-fil-A usually is. Worst CFA I have been too. Dirty counter, dirty tables, poor quality product. They don't even have mustard!!! Visited a couple times to confirm my impressions....the service counter was always dirty. As in disgusting. Tables are never cleaned, the detritus of previous customers is left. My chicken sandwich is always the smallest amount of chicken I have ever received at a CFA. And it is never crispy. Staff never checks on you like at ALL other CFA. No offers to refill drink etc. Last, they do not have basic yellow mustard. Period. read more

We've ordered from here multiple times for online orders - every combination possible - pick up off the shelf, grab in drive through or have them bring it out. They are 5-5 for having something go wrong. Didn't process the order, put the order out too soon and didn't check people so someone else grabbed it (and then doubled down on the mistake by giving us the wrong items on the remake so I had to go back again), omitting items. I had a solid CFA experience here. The drive thru was weirdly efficient the way Chick-fil-A drive thrus always are, with one person taking the order and payment, another confirming my order by name, and a third actually handing over the order. My chicken nuggets (which are my favorite thing from here) were hot & fresh. The fries were also good, and I love that they asked if I needed any sauces. The one ding was with my half strawberry, half vanilla milkshake, which turned out fine but took a few minutes of chatting with the lady who took my order to describe what I wanted. CFAs typically just know how to do the half-and-half thing automatically, but not a big deal. Always a reliable standby on a road trip. read more

This is one of the better and more efficient Chick-Fil-A restaurants (which is saying something considering it's one of the things that sets the brand apart from other fast food restaurants). I don't think I have ever had a bad experience here and my family is here at least once a week. The employees are always helpful and smiling. The service is quick and, except for an occasional misstep here and there, the food is always hot and fresh! Even during some of the peak rush times I rarely wait for more than 10-15 minutes TOTAL in the drive-thru line... and that's when the line is 12+cars or more deep x 2. Service is extremely slow. Clearly this store has changed owners/management some time ago. This change should not be obvious Last week, I visited your restaurant and after a "too" long wait in line I had to ask for my change and that turned into another ridiculous experience. Drive through breakfast with a sign on the highway telling me which way to go. That makes it super easy and it was only 3/4ths of a mile. Two lanes for breakfast means that it was super quick to place my order and get my food. Zip, zip, zip. The voice at the speaker was friendly and the gal who took my money/gave me my breakfast was smiling. The order was correct and assembled properly. Hash browns were super hot and cooked perfectly. The large waffle fry and medium, when compared most always has same amount. the morning biscuit has a small piece of chicken on it just a little bigger than a couple nuggets. its odd they confirm the order a couple times, but its wrong. the lines can be long, you ask too many things, but then get it wrong. Best Chick-fil-A I have been too! The people here are super nice and the food was amazing!!! It came out very quickly and they even brought it to our table. The owner happened to be working and took our order and was extremely personable and kind. I love hay there is a Chick-fil-A app that gives me free stuff as well. So, this place is possibly cursed. The staff is great but none of the infrastructure is reliable. The bathrooms are closed often. Despite 12-15 employees on shift, they can't keep up with demand of a 3 in line and 2 cars outside. The food is good but it takes forever to get your order. read more
