So the cashier charged my husband for little cheeseburger $9.39, little fry $5.79 & small drink $3.59 well that is called a COMBO and she should have charged $14.99 like the sign for combo says!!! When we were eating I read the receipt and went back to tell her she needed to refund us the difference. It took three people to discuss in Spanish how to ? Issue a refund? I have no idea I don't speak Spanish. After much debate I was told she would have to ring up the order and I would have to pay again to get a refund . WHAT that makes no sense- unresolved - we will never go back to Five Guys! Anyone who knows me knows I love five guys. I pretty much always stick to the little cheeseburger. It's more than enough for me. BF and I debated about whether to split a small order of fries or a regular order of fries. I came down on the side of regular fries, while he thought small order would probably be enough for both of us. This location has always been great to me and my family. The parking isn't convenient but other than that it's an above average Five Guys. The staff has been pretty stable over the years and they've always been attentive. I've done both orders in person and online without problems. What happened! Have not been there in over a year. Love this place, but how it sure got so expensive and the portions diminished. Three of us use to get a regular fries and there were plenty. Now it's just a little small cup with a very few extras in the bottom of the bag. At $50 for a fast food restaurant , I figured you would at least get more fries! What a mess this location is. There are 6 people working and maybe 15 customers. No one has any food and we have been waiting 30 minutes already. These guys are completely unorganized and the restaurant floor is dirty and restrooms also dirty. The staff have done no disinfecting on counters, tables, or doors. The drink station is a mess. The attention to health is not good and this restaurant has poor COVID protocols. Pretty disappointed that the manager of this place isn't making sure that proper COVID cleaning is done. We had to clean our own table with sanitizer. When we finally received our order (2 cheeseburgers and 1 fry) our food was cold. I don't mean warm, cold. This place used to be really nice and clean. I had fond memories of getting fries after long shifts and the employees being excitable and kind. That was years ago. Now this place is absolutely filthy. Just getting a drink made me need to wash my hands. Everything is sticky and greasy and the place was dead at a peak hour. I asked for gluten free and the girl at the register ignored me and I watched the other woman prepare it with the same gloves as the bread next to me. So I can't eat it. This was never an issue before. All of the old staff is long gone and I suspect they hired the cheapest labor they could find and force them into long hours and at this point these women make not even remotely enough money to care. There needs to be some form of management or change here, there's one on the side of the road 30 minutes away that is way nicer. This isn't worth it. read more

I frequent this location on occasion when I am running errands in the area. Like most Five Guys locations the staff is always friendly and personable. This is a fairly large location so even on busy days you can always get a table which is nice. If you have ever been to Five Guys then you know the quality of their burgers and fries and here is no different. Everything is always cooked well, although there are some times when the fries could be done a little more. The location is usually always very clean as I usually see an employee actively cleaning something. My last visit there were some dirty tables that could have used a quick wipe down. Now the reason for this review... I am a California girl and I miss my In-N-Out. Five Guys is about as close as I can get out here however I always feel like I am missing something... Shakes! This location had hand spun milk shakes available!!! I was so excited to give it a try and it did not disappoint. They have a slew of mix in options (malt, peanut butter, chocolate, oreos, and more) and all mix ins are included with the price of the shake! My shake was delicious and these Five Guys are seriously satiating my In-N-Out cravings and might be pulling ahead. read more

Crowd is nice a motley crew of a good mix of upper middle class typical residents of LC, richest county in the US! This review is for all the dedicated men and women working on 9/13. They were extremely busy and had to deal with their online ordering system down so no door dash or Uber eats. I went in and they were very professional and fast ( moved like the wind fast). They apologized for their system having issues but everyone on the line moved like a well oiled machine. When I left they finally had a break in the crowd sand you could see the satisfaction in their eyes on a job well done. I LOVE Five Guys and told them how much their place means to our family. A Memorial Day experience NEVER to forget!  My wife, three-year-old, and six-year-old (birthday girl) enter the store and order our food.  The lady who took our order was great, but they don't support military discounts.... Not a big deal; however, everything fell apart as soon as a different employee called our number "67".  She called it, and two seconds later called it again.  Mind you; we are sitting at a table about 15 feet away....  My wife gets up and proceeds to the counter.  The employee began to get loud and suggest that we made eye contact and didn't go to the counter fast enough.  Anyway, I confronted her and restated what had ACTUALLY happened and that her rudeness was uncalled for. She began to tell me to come closer and taunted me.  She was trying to instigate me to get in her face. We packed our stuff and left. We complained to their corporate customer service.  Within thirty minutes, Marvin (Store Manager) called to ask what happened and apologize.  He quickly supported a refund and was very respectful. The problem is that Marvin also mentioned: "This isn't the first time; she has a history of doing this."  He also stated, "This is the final straw, I will contact the district manager and see what can be done.". He initially tried to convey that it may be a training issue, but I would argue it is an individual issue.  If it is a training issue as the store manager suggested, I would STRONGLY suggest nobody eats there.  WHEN THEIR EMPLOYEES LACK BASIC SOCIAL DECENCY, HOW CAN WE TRUST THEM TO HANDLE OUR FOOD? I think until they get a handle on their untrained employees, it would be wise to avoid this store.  Might I suggest other local alternatives like Burger Fi, McDonald's, Burger King, Roy Rogers, etc.  There are plenty of good restaurants who can whip up some nice burgers and fries. read more

The one star is actually meant to be a zero star. Ask if the food was made fresh to order and was told yes. The fries were NOT hot. Went back to the counter and asked for hot fries--now sadly enough for the money they charge, they should at least bring the food to your table, but they don't. When the fries were ready, a customer who was on his way out with his carry-out order, dropped my fries off at my table and said: "I guess I'm your delivery guy" Apparently that customer was not happy that the cashier asked him to drop my fries off at my table. I reported this to corporate and they said they would have someone get back to me. It's been over a month now and still, no one has called me. Almost 22.00 for a burger, fry and a drink and they have the audacity to have a "customer" drop my fries off at my table. It was an asian guy at the register who put the customer to work to do "his job" Will never go back..for 2 reasons 1.) No service for what they charge and 2.) Asking a "customer" to drop off food at your table when that is the job of the staff. That was so unprofessional..and not to mention, the place was almost empty, so at least come from behind the counter and greet people, clean tables and bring hot fries to the customer when needed. This location renewed my interest in Five Guys. Here's why: The store seems to run like a well oiled machine. Employees seem happy and do a good job getting your order out quickly. I typically visit on a Saturday or Sunday and the wait time on orders seems reasonable. I've also noticed that they have one staff member dedicated to keeping the dining area clean. Operationally, this location has it's act together. As for the food, I'd put it on par with the slew of specialty burger joints in the area. Burgers taste fresh (not frozen) and the fries are addicting. I do miss that they no longer offer Pibb Zero (replaced by Dr. Pepper). Although Five Guys is pricey, so are the competitors. That said, I can't deduct a star for the dent they put in my wallet. read more

I can't think of a single thing I would change about Five Guys, I'm definitely a repeat customer. Depending on what you order, the food can get messy while eating so don't visit while wearing your favourite shirt and remember: Napkins are your friend. I recommend sharing an order of fries with someone because two orders for two people is far too bountiful. Really good burgers and probably the best fries in Leesburg. They have just about every topping I've ever heard of for burgers and a few I'd never want. I generally get the "junior" burger with one hamburger patty instead of two. That's bigger than many place's regular burgers and lets me justify the fries. I have it on good authority that the shakes are incredible, too. The store itself is really large, so even when they are busy, it's pretty easy to get a seat. They also have outdoor seating for the warmer days. The grill can get backed up though, so you might eat a lot of free peanuts before you get your order. read more

My first experience with a Five Guys ever - not good. I ordered and paid online for a burger and fries and sent my husband to pick them up. The ability to do this is a huge time saver and my husband said the service inside was decent - not great, but not bad, and quick. He was only given the burger, though, and didn't realize till he was almost home, so I tried calling the store to get a refund according to the phone number on the email confirmation. The line was busy so I called the 800 number. The representative made no apologies for the inconvenience and only offered to pass along my information to the store manager. He also let me know the phone number I have is wrong (for the record it's 571-442-8575) and acted as if that's in some way my fault. I called the store using the correct number and the person who answered the phone was...let's just say, unprofessional. In addition to refunding me for my fries, the manager (Nick) offered me a free meal for the next time I come in. The burger itself was really good so I'm hoping for a better experience next time. read more

This 5 Guys location is somehow not quite up to the quality level of others. iFrst, the music volume was way too loud but that sems to have been addressed. The fry quality is great but portions are a an issue. They went from two sizes to three but in reality the old large and new large are the same except for about a 50% price increase. But what bothers me at this location is that the extra scoop of fries they add to the bag is really scant. Lastly is the iced tea. Other location have fresh brewed but this one has the Peake machine that uses syrup. It tastes nothing like tea... a rip off for the price. Overall still a good place to eat but sadly I think they are slipping. read more

The food taste just about the same as any other 5s and their fries are very good but sadly the reviews are true. Service is very slow - took me 35 mins once just to get some fries. Have to downgrade my five-star review from last year. Ordered two bacon cheeseburgers, a hot dog, and a BLT (for the first time). Well, the bacon on all three sandwiches was OVERCOOKED. It was so overcooked that it was dark brown and crumbled when we bit into the sandwiches. I actually think I chipped a tooth! :) And I'm not sure if this is how their BLT is normally served but it was on a hamburger bun, not on sliced bread. So instead of slices, the bacon was a round pile of bits on a round piece of bread. And when I took a bite, chunks of hard, overcooked bacon fell out. Ugh. The fries were also a mess; limp and under seasoned. The only good part of the meal was my son's hot dog and the fountain drinks. So disappointed. as mildy busy as it was, the food i ordered through Greg (btw awesome guy for the Cashier position) came out quick. What i found most impressive and i would have waited 20 minutes if i had to, was how Justice worked those friers. Most people in general would stay stuck glued to their phones waiting, but it was impressive to see how he worked the final build on the burger, the prestation on the fries and all that. it was almost like he could do it in his sleep. I loved the make-your-own shakes. I ordered two servings of chocolate and one of oreo pieces, and was in heaven. Because the calorie count was so high, I decided it was my entree. I also stole some of my friend's cajun fries, and they were great too. I'd definitely go back. The overall restaurant was clean, service was fast and friendly. My friend had a double burger and couldn't figure out how to get their mouth into it --it was that big. Went on a Saturday around 11am. The place started to have a long line as it got closer to noon. For people with mobility issues: the parking is in a lot next to the store. There are curb cuts from the handicapped spots and a ramp to get into the store. The tables aren't booths so they should be easily used by someone in a wheelchair. read more

We ordered dinner for curbside pickup. When we got there, three other cars were in line. We called the restaurant to tell them we were there. Meanwhile, people were coming out of the restaurant with food and getting into the cars in front of us. At first I thought they had called for in-store pickup. Then I noticed that three couples had walked in and left with food while we were sitting there. I go in and there's our order sitting on the counter. The guy behind the counter said they "were just to bring it out to me". I doubt that because when we got home our burgers and fries were warm and soggy. They lost my business. read more

Listen up Five Guys staff, if you can, after being forced to listen to, I don't know what decibel level hearing impairing music I was blasted with on my visit...ratchet it down. We're all not 20, don't have hearing impairments yet and don't want them, especially from a hamburger joint, and should not have to yell the order (no kidding), nor should anyone have to cup their mouth to their lips to yell for help because staff can't hear me...again, no kidding. Secondly, when that burger breaks apart on the grill, don't serve it to me. I watched the fry cook flip the thing, have it fall apart, and I was hoping that wasn't mine. Alas, it was...two halves of the burger piled up on half the bun, with some forlorn crunchy overdone stragglers put on the other half. Result....burger fell apart, pieces fell out....this was not messy good, this was messy bad.... Uggggg. To add insult to injury, fries were barely warm. The burger had no seasoning, and this is not beef that can stand alone on it's own merits.....onions bland. Luckily, this was carryout, because I could not have eaten inside with the pounding, loud, music. The fries didn't survive the luke warm phase on my five minute trip home. I frequented five guys in Arlington at their first store, where the burgers were cooked to perfection, the patty was fresh meat and uniformly shaped to hold together and the fries were freshly cooked and hot. Remember, the biggest failure in a business is to get too big to fast. Quality suffers and customers give up trying. Get it together Five Guys...as the saying goes, "The bigger they are, the harder they fall" and in your case, ignore service and quality and your Leesburg storefront will go up for Lease yet again. read more

So what is the point of ordering online? So that you can walk in and have your food waiting for you to pick up and leave. I ordered online at 6pm got my confirmation email saying my food would be ready about 10 minutes later. I arrived about 6:15. Then I stood there waiting for another 20 minutes for my food. The place was not busy and I stood there at the counter waiting, and waiting, and waiting. A few of the guy employees behind the counter were just standing around checking out the girls in the place instead of doing their job like making the actual food. I've had better experiences here but this time was a big fail. I would recommend that the people behind the counter acknowledge the people walking in. Like the previous reviewer said, there is no order on how the food comes out. People walking in and ordering their food got their food before I did. I am a huge fan of Five Guys and finally managed to drop in on the new store In Leesburg. The first thing I noticed is that this store (formerly a carpet/tile place) is HUGE. I don't think I have ever been in a larger Five Guys restaurant. I took the kids for a late lunch and they were not really busy. Service was nice and friendly and the food came up quickly. It was the usual double cheeseburger with everything except mustard awesomeness for me! The only problem was my daughter asked for a lettuce wrapped burger with no bun and they forgot to wrap it in the lettuce. The cook offered to make her a new one but she chose just to get some lettuce and do it herself. My son chowed down on the "little" chesseburger (one patty) and was totally satisfied. We shared a regular fries and it was more than enough for all of us. My kids love the new Coke machine with all of its options. There are several burger options in Leesburg (Burger-Fi, Melt) but I will be going back to the simplicity and extreme goodness of Five Guys. read more
