So I stay in California and received an email stating someone used my papa Johns account to order…read morepizza. Of course they used my pap dough but who cares they also used a card. I immediately called the restaurant and was treated horribly by the General Manager Michael. This man should not be in customer service at all. I've worked in customer service for 18 years and was a Manager for 12 and I would never speak to a customer the way he spoke to me. His response was and I quote" first of all I'm not stopping this order because somebody paid for it so it's going to be delivered. I told him he needed to make sure my card wasn't used without looking he said oh your card wasn't used. I asked him how do you know I haven't even provided my card number he stated. Listen when somebody is trying to help you then you need to be quiet and let them help you. I'm going to tell you the last 4 of the card number but you won't shut up. You're ignorant and disrespectful I'm not going to do shi!! for you anymore. I then said furious at this point who the fu&$ are you talking to. He then said that's why this pizza is being delivered and you're fuc$&ing papa for is gone and I'm not doing anything about it. I couldn't believe this. I hung up called corporate and spoke with somebody there. She helped hit what kills me is everyone seem to think I'm concerned about pap dough which I could give a flying fu&$ about. My concern is someone using my papa Johns account where my actual cards are linked. That manager was very unprofessional, unapologetic he was mad about what I was saying from the start. Like how do you get mad because I'm asking you to stop pizza someone just ordered by hacking my account unless it was one of your friends or family members. How do you not show empathy how is your first response you didn't pay for this so I'm not stopping the order without even asking if my card was used. I'm never ordering from papa johns again throw the whole freakin company away. And if this is how Shaquille O'Neal authorized his employees to work, speak and respond then I'm good. I buy $60 in pizza almost twice a month sometimes 3 I don't need papa dough what I need is account security and reassurance from employees about my account and to be treated with respect. PERIOD
