Lucille's Eatery - Chicken is old dry and burned

The menu is mostly the same things you can get from BB Kings, just in a fast casual type of service. We dined at BB Kings one day and the next we decided to grab Lucille's for lunch before heading out. We grabbed an order of tenders and a burger, both sided with fries. The tenders were well fried, and I mean they were overcooked and rubbery. Couldn't even eat them all unfortunately. The burger was okay, a bit dry, which I guess is on trend. Fries were the best part for us both. Service was a bit hectic and chaotic. There was a line, and while they kept it moving, the wait times for folks was a bit long. So, cashiers were moving wayyyyy faster than the kitchen. We had time, so were not stressing it, but a few other guests were not fans of waiting upwards of 20 minutes to get their "quick service" food. Along with that, the cashier was clearly stressed and not super big on friendly service. It wasn't bad, just not up to the level we received everywhere else at the casino. Prices were fair, which was a nice touch. Tenders and burger with fries ran us around $30 for both. Overall, Lucille's was our least favorite outlet at Wind Creek.

A girl came out to help him but she moved slow and frustrated the customer before me bc she wasn't heating up the bacon before adding it to her sub despite her asking a few times. Same employ seemed to really crowd and get in the way of the guy working. This location seemed pretty clean and organized and when the oregano fell in the green peppers (bc she was in his way), he promptly removed them and asked someone to get him fresh ones. Their health score is a 98 and says 3/8/19! Nice find on our trip back to Atlanta!

Not recommended…read more This is the second Subway I've visited in the last month and the experience here parallels the last: subpar. I suppose this chain suffers from labor shortages, quality of labor, and supply chain challenges akin to many businesses in this insane COVID business environment. I'm sad to see this phenomenon. Once upon a time, one could expect consistent quality from Subway around the country with the exception standing as the uncommon experience. The problem with our visit here was service. There was one semi-competent person preparing the sandwich, a male. In the middle adding on the veggies and cutting sandwiches was an incompetent female. The latter had an entire pot full of knives -- about 20 I could count --- to choose from to cut sandwiches. She kept going into the back room to get different knives. She couldn't follow directions from any of the persons we saw ordering. Customers other than us we're correcting her as she either forgot to add fixings as directed or, simply put the wrong fixings on a given entrée. Talk about what appears to be ADD: this person displayed all of the indicia. The female cashier wasn't much better than the fixer. She ran out of paper for the receipts for the cash money eastern spent 10 minutes trying to figure out how to reload it. The quality of the materials for our entrées that's not good as in tasteless. I'm not sure what's going on here other than, perhaps, preparation by the staff may be a factor. If you have a choice pick a different subway.
