Always notorious to Lawrence customers for being slow when you come in and get to the counter. They don't ever stop talking to each other. Poor management they like to join in on the jokes too. They close out orders when they are not ready. When they stick the sticker receipts on the bags the member section is left blank. They dont hold their employees accountable for their actions. Went there last night. The guy wrapping up my order couldn't stop joking with some girl and looking into her eyes and stopping to look at her with all kinds of jokes. This is why I dont eat here anymore. Everyone hates the slow service. They intentionally go even slower with delivery driver orders never having them ready. I used to eat here all the time. Redeemed my reward for their new key lime lemonade. I must say I was a little skeptical about trying it, I'm not a fan of key lime pie at all. Don't knock it until you try it , glad I did. Very refreshing 10/10 in my opinion it tased better than the regular lemonade. Definitely recommend giving this drink a try. read more

We went through an empty drive thru but still had to wait 15 minutes. They told us to pull forward and turn our hazards on. At 12 min I went inside and I explained I was waiting on my order and the guy acted clueless. I explained it to me but the manager through a sandwich after checking it and stormed to the back. Then she came back and told the clueless guy to walk the order (mine) to the car. She was also dealing with another complaint. I told him it was mine but he wouldn't listen. I showed my receipt and he still didn't believe me and asked me if "that" was my car... the ONLY car in the parking lot. He said he had to confirm. Isn't that why you show receipts? I really don't know what is happening with Chick-fil-A but today's experience was quite numbing. I placed an order through the drive-through. As usual the drive-through was packed but that's to be expected. I haven't been to Chick-fil-A in a couple of weeks but I used to go there all the time so I know the level of service that I'm used to receiving which is why today's review kind of breaks my heart a little bit because the service I received was lackluster to say the least. When I got to the window to pick up my food there were five people working the window, which was a surprise to me because it's usually 2. When they handed me my large shake, which I have ordered numerous times in the past, what I got was a baby shake. When I told them that I requested a large, the guy says "we only have one size now."When I asked does your price reflect that, he looked at me as if he didn't understand what I was asking. I said does your price show the difference in the size of the cup, to which he replied "no". I sat waiting for my three piece chicken strip which was spent for the next 10 minutes listening to the five people working the window discussing what their plans are for the weekend. To hear some of the things that I heard, was very annoying due to the fact that I'm not there to hear what you're going to do for the weekend, I'm there to purchase food. After 10 minutes of annoying banter between the employees, I was told that my chicken strips weren't ready yet and I had to pull to the front of the building to wait. When I pull to the front of the building there was a person ahead of me who was also waiting for food but they wouldn't pull into a parking space they were blocking the drive-through which meant that I could not pull up. This rating is not based on the food because I have ALWAYS had fresh, hot and delicious food from chick fila every single time, this is simply about the level of service, which seems to be plummeting. I don't know what they call themselves doing having all of the excess workers outside to take your order, five people behind the window at the drive-through but at the end of all of that if I wind up being charged full price for a small cup and waiting for food that I should not have taken as long as it took to receive and most of all not having to hear peoples personal conversations while they're supposed to be working...it just seems to me that the changes aren't really helping the outcome. I love Chick-fil-A's food so I will continue to patronize but how often I do has been decided by what happened today. read more

I really enjoy this restaurant. For starters, everyone is happy and smiling. The staff is friendly and in a good mood. That always gets things started off on the right foot. The restaurant is clean and does not smell fast foody. Even the restrooms are sparkly. Their nuggets, wraps and fries my favorite. The wraps are just the right amount of food. Very fresh and well seasoned. Even though the waffle fries are, duh, fried- they are never greasy or over salted. But the BEST BEST thing about CFA is they have diet lemonade. It is soooo delicious. Nothing is more refreshing than a nice big cup of this stuff. It's not the carbonated lemonade, either. It's the real stuff. So glad they finally opened up a store in Lawrence! read more

I went to this Chick-fil-A location back in November. I realize that with the pandemic, they're trying to find ways to get you your food and keep the line moving in a contact less way, etc. But there has GOT to be a better way than this. As you drive up, your car is swarmed by clumps of mask-wearing teenagers with iPads. The young lady who came to our car asked for our order (we were still more than 20 feet away from seeing the menu). We said we'd like to see the menu first. To which she gave a BIG, ol' dramatic sigh, rolled her eyes and said, "oooooookay, fine." And walked away. Mmmmkay. Whatever. Finally made it through the line and our order was wrong. Shocking. On a previous visit (about two weeks earlier than this) when I got around to pick up my food, a young man walked up to my car with a clear plastic tray, in which sat my food. Unfortunately, there had been coffee spilled in that same tray, and no one on staff thought to clean it out. They just sat your bag of food in the coffee. Absolutely disgusting. I reached out to management. FINALLY got a refund on that food. This place seems to be really, really poorly managed. If you're a Chick-Fil-A fan, find a different location. As of 12/8/21 I still had not heard anything so I sent another email and have not gotten any response yet again. I contacted them via FB messenger on 12/15/21 and was told I would get a phone call. Now, 7 days later still no response or phone call back. I have made 8 attempts to get my money back and not been able to get a response from anyone at the store. I come here at least 3 days a week and the other night I went around 8:30pm. There were 4 men working in the drive thru area that completely messed up my order. The drinks were wrong, the soup was wrong, and it took them about 5-7 min to hand me my food. I was very disappointed because there were hardly any customers in the drive thru or inside. You would think between the 4 of them, they could have had better control of the products. It's Chick-Fil-A. I probably don't need to say a lot more. If you want chicken of most any ilk (nuggets, strips, sando, spicy chicken), then this is the jam. Lawrence has a bushel of chicken options now, like Caine's (good, but yawn), Popeye's (I go for the red beans and rice), and Zaxby's (meh), but Chick-Fil-A just does chicken right. Great salad offerings, good portions for kids meals, relatively affordable, and their app is pretty slick. The Chick-Fil-A sauce is also the hook, and it's perfectly aligned with the flavor of the core offerings. Always clean, always friendly staff, and the best chicken offerings = 5 stars. read more

I love the peach shakes! But they are seasonal....Also, I love their waffle chips! But they are too salty for someone who has to watch their salt..... So now, yesterday my husband and I went through the drive thru and got a Frosted Key Lime shake along with a peach shake. We were a little disappointed with the Frosted Key Lime. My family and I have been coming to this chik-fil-a off and on since they opened. We've always been pretty happy with the quality and service. We don't eat fast food often, so it's a treat when we do, and chik-fil-a is usually at the top of our choices when we decide to eat fast food. Today I went through and got breakfast for me and my kids. I ordered a #5 with bacon, they always verify the order back to me. The girl verified that I wanted that with "just regular bacon". Which I thought was an odd way to phrase it, but I said yes as I did want bacon. Got home, and it was really just bacon. Shame on me I guess for not fully catching her choice of words. I didn't realize that was even an option with that meal. I just assumed that when you order a meat, egg, and cheese meal- that's what you get. I called to let the manager know of the mixup and requested that maybe they make that a little clearer as I've never had that option offered to me before over the years, and the manager was quite rude about it. No apology offered for the mixup at all, she just basically implied that it was my fault and that it has always been offered as an option when ordering that meal. Which it may be true that it has always been an option, but in all these years that we've eaten there, it has never been offered to me as an option nor has anyone ever "verified" that I only wanted bacon on a bacon, egg, AND cheese meal. I've been to this CFA several times since they opened. Some of the visits were fine, some not so fine, but I think they've trended in the right direction and the Southwest Salad I had today was pretty darn great. The chicken was fresh and sliced carefully, lettuce fresh, everything was just right. I love the avocado lime ranch and the creamy salsa dressing is great too. Usually I indulge in a frozen coffee but they've been a little wanky lately so not on the agenda from here. Funny how the same item can taste different from one location to another of the same chain, right? The people working here are always nice and the restaurant is always clean. I usually love Chic-fil-a, but today I didn't have the best experience at this location. This was not due to any fault on the employees, they were great. However, I ordered a spicy chicken deluxe sandwich and when I went to bite into it I couldn't due to a large chunk of cartilage, fat, or something. I brought it back and got a new sandwich, which was fine. Then I went to eat my fries and found a short dark hair in them, I have blonde hair so it was not mine. So it seems to be a persistent issue with this store. Over the past year, when ordering breakfast meals when we go through the drive through to pay we are told they are out of coffee and if we will pull up to the front they will brew a pot and bring us our coffee. We have done that but the wait is just far to long so on most occasions(twice this week) we just drive off not getting the coffee we paid for. Not sure how much we have paid the Franchisee for coffee we did not get. Be aware of this if you go through the drive through. They should tell you when you order that they are out of coffee and are brewing a pot now. Maybe spending some money to buy another coffee brewer or having multiple pots available for the breakfast time. If you wait, your food will be cold as we found out and why we just drive off. I guess we are crazy to keep going back and are starting to review our options going forward. read more

Once again this location disappoints. Placed order at the drive thru w a very nice young man. Once I picked up the order at the window, I pulled away and checked the order to avoid going all the way home w the wrong food. I immediately discovered that what was suppose to be a side salad was a kale salad. No big deal. Parked my car, grabbed a mask and headed in to exchange for correct item. The young man inside asked if there was a problem and I explained the misunderstanding and that I had received the wrong item. He then proceeded to go talk to what appeared to be a mgr. and upon his return he said I need to pay the difference for the side salad... like a buck and some change. I hesitated and said okkkkk, and was rudely instructed to step to the register to pay. While I was paying he then said - oh ya, I'm gonna need that kale salad back. I finished paying, opened the bag and laid the salad on the counter..... he promptly took it and moved it back into rotation for the next customer.
