This was our first time at Texas Roadhouse. We tried to get in one night last week and the waiting line scared us away. My boss recommended to get on the waitlist and you can wait in your car until time to come sit "ON DECK". You get seated quickly from there, but before you do there's a counter / cooler area you can take a gander at their steaks. Once seated, Christian our server came over and took our drink and app order then quickly returned with everything. He was hands down one of the best waiters Ive had, checking on us without being bothersome, catering to our every ask. It's a fast paced but fun vibe, the staff even does line dancing. Several other people checked in on us during the meal. They really strive to make your dinner a pleasant experience. The food was magnificent just the hearty meal we were looking for. Steaks, potatoes, veggies and more. We left with a healthy doggie bag as did many others, you really get your money's worth here. It might've been crowded but the pace was just right.. We will definitely be back.

So much has changed in the hospitality industry since Covid. But not Texas Roadhouse. Wonderful service and generous, hot, delicious comfort menu including great value early dine-in specials. Clean, well managed, personable staff and great food. It's so great to have a real restaurant experience where the staff know service and the manager touches each table. Plus hot rolls with lovely butter.

Bbq sauce needs to be. Colder it is to warm and food did not come fast enough and that is why I left 2 star review

Always good. Just gets really loud on the weekends. So tried a week night, much better for conversation.

Service and food was great but too much salt on steak and shrimp. Otherwise, the food was good.

A reliable option in-town. I recommend getting steaks Pittsburg style--more time getting a good sear, and still the same internal doneness.

Pros: The rolls are amazing. Friendly waitstaff. Open late. Cons: Salad was mostly cheese. Lots of cheese. Not a lot of lettuce.

My family just ate here for a birthday and we were all pleased with the service and quality of food that was served. Let's talk about the food first. Now if you're ordering a steak, my rule is always to order a step down from how well you want it cooked. I prefer medium rare because anything past that is a crime, but I will almost always order a steak rare knowing it will be cooked past that and more on the medium rare side. That said, my steak was perfect. You want medium? Tell them medium rare. Medium well? Medium. Well done? Go to a shoe store and get yourself a leather shoe and get some help. Now, the server. We had Dowdy. He was attentive, quick, personable, and great at keeping up with our large group. We could tell he enjoys his job and we would definitely ask for him if and when we come back.

The restaurant itself is beautiful inside -- a cozy mix of rustic and modern that creates a really inviting atmosphere. Service started a little slow, though our waitress became more attentive once she came by. We mentioned it was our first visit, so I was a bit surprised there wasn't much guidance on the menu or any recommendations. At one point I asked about the two kinds of fries (I love fries!), and the explanation was simply that they were "fancy fries," without much detail on flavors or differences. We started with drinks and the Brussels sprouts appetizer. The sprouts were actually very good, with a nice balance in the sauce, and both the wine and sangria were refreshing. Unfortunately, dinner is where things went downhill. Our meals -- a steak and a gluten-free chicken sandwich -- took about 45 minutes to arrive, which felt long for relatively simple dishes. I had asked about the gluten-free bun since they can sometimes be dry, but didn't receive much insight beyond "it's gluten free," and sadly it was indeed very dry. The chicken itself lacked flavor, though the goat cheese cilantro sauce helped make it somewhat enjoyable. The fries looked homemade and delicious but arrived cold. The steak was cooked as requested, but it didn't have much flavor beyond the mushrooms on top. The broccoli side was tasty, and the potatoes were good, though it on a bed of Some kind of cheese sauce that wasn't quite to our liking. Overall, the space and gluten-free availability were promising, and the appetizers and drinks were enjoyable, but the food execution and service details didn't quite meet expectations for us this visit.
