Sandwich fell from the floor to the ground behind the counter. The guy from the kitchen asked for it to be handed back to him. A few second later, he puts another sandwich on the chute. So, it hits the floor: nothing is grosser than a floor in a restaurant. The shoes from all those workers, with dog poop and urine from the bathroom floors, walk all over the place. You have a worker hold the packaged sandwich, take out the sandwich with same hands, and put it in a new one. Congratulations, Chick-fil-A, you just had one of your customers lick the floor of the back of your restaurant. I watched and nobody washed their hands after touching the sandwich package that hit the floor. This isn't hard, people. If food hits the floor, it gets trashed. If you touch your hair, money, trash, or anything that is on the floor, you wash your hands. If you go to the bathroom or put your finger in any hole in your body, you wash your hands. service was amazing and fast, even with it being in the middle of dinner rush. although i will say that my dinner was almost ruined when i came to dine in. despite the fact that the drive thru line was wrapped around the building and even more customers were coming inside to order, i looked on in horror as the group of rude and impatient customers dining in tapped their feet and glared at the young high school kids simply doing their jobs. i couldn't help but keep watching as each customer one by one was handed their order, not even giving so much as a thank you. i watched them continue to demand and snap at the young workers, with some of the more passive aggressive customers just rolling their eyes and staring. it took everything in me not to stop what i was doing and call each of them out, but i didn't want to ruin the dining experience of the more patient customers. customers - these are young kids! even if an order is wrong or takes longer than expected, i can't believe the audacity to be so hateful when it is so obvious how incredibly busy the restaurant is! Friendliest lunch spot! Talk around me was like a neighborhood coffee shop with people calling out greetings to each other. In busy noon rush the service was fast and accurate. I appreciate not having to stand around the counter waitingfor my order but could be seated and food brought to me. New Southwest Grilled Chicken salad was delicious! Employees circulated throughout dining area wiping tables and assisting where needed. One employee came around offering mints! If there is such a thing as a five star Chick Fil A then this is it!!! read more

This is probably the only food chain I can't say no to! I've been to this location a couple of times as well and they are consistently on top of things. It is almost always full and a couple times their lines are long. Two of those times they've had people directing traffic and handing out samples. Drove by here on our way to the beach on 6/18. We came near prime time, around 12:00pm, for lunch with 2 adults and 2 kids. The food is Chik-fil-A, it's consistent and it's good. What I was so impressed with was the service and the cleanliness. I mean of course they're known for those things (and good chicken), but coming at 12:00?? I was pretty worried and if you saw the line outside you would have turned around, but we figured we'd give it a go. There weren't many tables open but we managed to find one, despite the line and chaos inside, they got our order and we received our food QUICKLY. We didn't order anything crazy - 2 kids meals with nuggets, a salad with chicken, and a chicken sandwich combo. My only complaint was that the trash cans were not very full and the condiment station really didn't need attendance, but they had workers taking out the half full trash and re-stocking condiments anyway, which frankly added to the chaos and congestion. But as I said, they managed everything well and with grace, like Chik-fil-A always does. Also, discovered Honey Roasted BBQ sauce. HOLY COW! If you like Honey Mustard and BBQ sauce, then you need to try this. Also they had a nice water bowl out near the front door for pets, which was a really nice touch on a warm day. read more

Tonight I went to the Chick-fil-a in Ballentine Irmo, SC and the customer service was not the typical Chick-fil-a normal standards. I ordered a small cup of ice cream (Thinking a small drinking cup) and paid. Never one time did the cashier ask my name or look at me or use any of the typical customer service words I am custom to hearing. When she brought the ice cream back it was a kid size. I was unaware that the small was a kid size and the large was a small drink cup. So I told her I was sorry I ordered the small because I thought the small was the small drinking cup and that size was a kid size. I asked if I could get the larger size and I would pay the difference. She finally looked at me with the rudest smirk and said I will have to get my manager. The manager came over and started with the phrase and with the worst attitude "So what is your problem?" I let her know that I didn't realize the sizes and asked for the larger cup and would pay for the difference... Never one time My pleasure, no worries, thank you...nothing. This location has gone down hill in customer service and becoming like many of the other fast food restaurants. Chick-fil-a has always been different and even if they get your order incorrect it has never been an issue because you know they will always make it right with the best customer service...today was certainly not their day for that type of service unfortunately. read more

We were with our youth group from East Somerset Baptist Church on our way to the beach for spring break and it was pouring the rain, the lady (maybe assistant manager) told us to pull to the front and she would have umbrellas to help walk everyone out to the vans. I can honestly say that Chick-Fil-A is in my top three for favorite fast food chains. This is why I have such high expectations when I visit. My visit to this particular store was just ok. The staff was extremely nice, as they are at every other Chick-Fil-A I've been to. My complaint is more about the french fries(my favorite part of the meal,usually). They were extremely soggy and did not offer the warm crisp waffle fries I have become accustomed to receiving. I'm hoping maybe, because it was lunch time and very busy, they were just trying to get food out as fast as possible and this caused less cooking time. Obviously I will always recommend Chick-Fil-A. Just be warned for the possibility of mushy fries at this location. read more

I am a regular costumer at this Chick-fil-A I come almost 2 times a day if not more and I was surprisingly unhappy with my experience today. The lady who was taking my order charged my card and told me to pull forward and the lady under the umbrella who gives receipts told me I owed another 7 dollars when the other girl charged me 8? The entire experience was underwhelming. Does not compare to any other Chick Fil A I've ever been to. There were several people in training which is fine, however no one was smiling or said "My Pleasure". The Lemonade was filled 3/4 of the way as a fresh drink. I had to ask to get it filled more because we were taking it to-go. The Lemonade was the worst Lemonade I have ever had out of all the Chick Fil A's I have been to in my life. It was grainy with too much pulp and my boyfriend had a seed in his. The machine looked like it needed to be cleaned. It had a water taste that was not sweet and did not taste like lemon at all. When we got our order, the chicken on the sandwiches were the smallest chicken pieces we have ever gotten on a sandwich. The sandwiches were watering so bad that it was bleeding through the box and through napkins on our lap. The only positive was that the Mac n Cheese was the best one I've had since they released it! read more
