¡Excelente! This takes me back to the flavors of the Caribbean. I have been eyeing this one and I'm glad that we stopped by. I love that most things are roasted and full of flavor without being salty. The empanadas were full of chicken and my chicken bowl was well prepared. When we came in they were a little short handed, but it didn't take too long to get our order. We'll have to keep this place on our radar. read more

Tasty food served hot & quickly. Fast food set up but tastier. They have a drive through if you are in the go or dine in. Got the quarter chicken, comes with 2 sides. The green beans are super flavorful and the chicken was good. The Yuka fries were ok but not the best I've had. The green sauce is tasty and worth adding. read more

Service was friendly. Dining room clean. We were the one of 2 couples there. 4pm Sunday. Ordered fried chicken sandwiches fries cole slaw and drinks.$32+ Dont feel it was peruvian seasoned, a bit bland. Maybe the rotisserie would be better?. Approximately 25 minute wait. Food served on tray, sandwiches wrapped. Received an extra order of fries. Sandwiches were just ok. Did not like pub sauce. Fries were overly seasoned, a bit too salty. Chicken was not tender. Just ok. We wont make the trip again. read more

Choose spot based on pictures and rating. Might have been on an off day 5:45pm dinner time spot was empty, perhaps still early for some folks. Order 1/4 dark meat leg and a thigh with yucca fries and jasmine rice. Portion control size was my initial concern as the piece I was given resembled a small game hen. Needless to say the flavors were done right and the yucca fries warm at best were good and jasmine white rice hard to mess up. Clean dinning room and staff at the counter were super nice and friendly. Don't know that all be back, but Peruvian flavored rotisserie chicken is hard to find. read more

Healthy options at a drive thru, you can't beat the right? I was in the area and saw the signs about grilled chicken and figured why not? I ordered the kids meal quarter chicken that comes with 1 side and the group ordered a side of corn to share. The concept seemed familiar as well, the food looked good, so I was excited to dig in. Overall on the food, it was good. The chicken is juicy, most, but I think it could use just a little more seasoning. But they do have additional sauce options for that. I ordered the garlic sauce and wasn't a fan. Service was quick for grilled chicken. The corn was delicious as well as the yellow right. Honestly, if I'm in the area, I would stop here again. read more

Second time getting a Braza Chicken meal. Better communication this time and I was notified that the meal was ready for pickup pretty much right on time. Chicken is tasty and moist, right up there with the best Peruvian chicken in the DC metro area - though the bird was a little smaller than I would have liked. Yuca, plantains and rice rounded out the meal with traditional green and white sauces. The meal was sufficient for four adults - but glad we were not especially hungry. Great flavor. Spot on service. Fair price. Will return. read more

The food was unbelievably delicious!! I highly recommend!! The chicken and plantains were especially awesome!

Against my better judgment, I gave this place a shot despite walking in and immediately noticing a giant cockroach crawling across the carpet. I told myself, things happen, maybe it wandered in, the reviews were decent, perhaps the food would make up for it. It did not. It took nearly 20 minutes for our meals to arrive. My wife ordered the quarter white meal with corn and mashed potatoes, which was fine but forgettable. My son ordered a chicken tender meal with plantains and received fries instead, after waiting that long, we did not bother sending it back. I ordered the steak bowl with plantains and black beans, and the steak was so poor I stopped eating after the second bite. To be fair, the rice was good, and the black beans and plantains were decent. Unfortunately, that was the highlight of the experience, and it was not enough to offset the cleanliness concerns, the wait, or the quality of the main dishes. read more

Went there today may 30th to order the 6 wings, Yucatan fries and sweet plantains. When it turned 340pm I simply asked the young lady behind the countern if she knows how much longer it will be. She did not respond. Instead she turned to the other lady in the kitchen to say "i hate when they come here rushing". Now I was only asking because I didn't want to be late for work at 4pm. read more

While we did not care for the food at Braza I do want to compliment the friendly and helpful staff. They were terrific. It's clear by the 5-star reviews that Braza Chicken is popular. Keep in mind that if you are looking for authentic Peruvian food you won't find it here. I have lived and traveled all over South America and there is nothing Peruvian or even South American at Braza Chicken. The chicken was OK but it's NOT "Peruvian" chicken, which has a distinctive marinade made with Peruvian spices like black mint and aji pancha. It's also served with traditional aji verde (green pepper) sauce on the side which Braza does not offer. Unfortunately, our sides were not good. They tasted like they came from a food service like US Foods: 1. Green beans: very, very greasy and SO salty that I could not eat them. 2. Mashed potatoes: Taste like they're made from potato flakes. They are reminiscent of KFC mashed potatoes. Also: I ordered mashed potatoes with gravy (slightly more expensive) but only received plain mashed potatoes. 3. Cole slaw: a slaw mix lost in pudding-like mayonnaise. Inedible. 4. Plantains: Not bad but tasted like a sweetener was added (not typical). read more

My husband and I ate here and we were impressed we both had the quarter chicken with black beans and rice and corn. With an empanada on the side. The chicken was tender and very tasty. The empanadas were amazing. He had beef and I had chicken. The chicken empanada was the best. The service was quick and we were asked several times if we needed anything else. Braza Chicken is in an unassuming former burger chain restaurant. I have passed it several times and was not sure what to think, so today I went in to grab a bite. If you like Latin rotisserie style chicken it will not disappoint. I had the half chicken and plátanos maduros and yuca frita. I was impressed with the skin flavor and the seasoning of the chicken. Even the skin was flavorful. Many have tried in Columbia with this style of food, but these guys seem to have it right. Music is kind of a Brazilian influenced playlist of samba and jazz. read more

This past weekend we tried Braza for the first time. I will begin with good: *Food portions great *Food seasoned well Not so good things: *We waited 40 minutes for the food even though we placed a pick up order. I think food was ready but no one brought food to us *Our order for was four - steak bowl, steak burrito, chicken bowl, kids chicken tenders, 2 beef empanada , 2 chicken empanada ($$$). We were missing one empanada and one chicken tender *The chicken was burnt on edges and tasted bitter. Overall we liked the food ( chicken not so much) but they should work on pick up orders and double check if everything is included in the order. We will try again soon to see if the service is better and the chicken is not burnt. :) read more

I got a quarter chicken dark meat with Yuka fries and black beans and a beef empanada. The chicken was so so the Yuka fries were disgusting They were dried out and tasteless. The beans tasted like they were out of a can and had a weird flavor. The beef empanada was about the only thing that was decent, but I don't think I'll be wasting my money or time to go back here again. read more

The chicken was cooked to perfection, the rice and the beans were seasoned just right, the churros were amazing also.

New fast food restaurant off Saint Andrews serving fresh Peruvian style Rotisserie Chicken. Whether ordering to eat in or as a grab in go, Brazas offers a healthy meal to satisfy the entire family. For my first visit my guest and I opted for the 1/2 rotisserie chicken which was served with 2 sides (we picked plantains and green beans) and 1 sauce (mango pico). We also picked 1 chicken empanadas and an extra side of garlic sauce and salsa verde. The chicken was flavorful and fairly moist and the addition of the pico and salsa verde really elevated the dish. The empanada was packed with shredded chicken, tomatoes, peppers, and raisins and was incredibly flavorful and was not greasy despite it having been fried. Will definitely keep Braza in mind for evenings when I am running short on time but yearning for a healthy take out option. Staff was welcoming, service was speedy, and interior was clean and the background Peruvian music truly rounded out the ambiance. read more

Braza reminds me of viva chicken in charlotte and Alpaca in Durham NC. The chicken was super tender and juicy and the sides definitely surprised me. The French fries were basic crinkle cut but I tried the green beans and corn and they were both really good. They had a nice charred flavor and spices. The green beans were cooked the way I like them, not too soft but not too hard, had a nice crunch. The corn was crunchy, cooked perfectly, and paired well with the chicken and green beans. I didn't taste the mashed potatoes myself but my bf said it was really good with the chicken gravy and gave it nice flavor. The only complaint I have is the only one they have is on St Andrews and I live 20 mines away so I only came to try it because I was already on that side of town at the mall. We got the family meal which is 2 whole chickens and four sides for $49.99. I got all the way home to find out they only gave me one chicken. I called to ask if two chickens fit in one container and the lady said no I was supposed to get two so she took my name and asked if I could come back today. Now normally I wouldn't bother especially cuz it took 20 minutes to get there, but I had 6 other ppl to feed and that was $50 bucks. So I went and got it, they were very quick to get my chicken to me and they were so nice about it and the lady recognized me immediately considering I was just there (normally ppl would forget you). I do commend them for their nice service and hospitality. I wish they had one closer, hopefully they'll open another location. The chicken was 9/10, sides were 8/10 and altogether the food was a 9/10 for me. Definitely go if you have a chance or live near St Andrews. read more

Arrived at Braza around 9:40pm. Instead of someone answering the intercom and saying "we're no longer taking orders" NO ONE answered the intercom which led me to pull around after 4 minutes of waiting. New Peruvian chicken restaurant. Serves individual and family-style dinners. The chicken was well seasoned and roasted just right. The sides were filling, really good tasting and the portions were big! We ordered the family dinner which was two Peruvian roasted chickens, black beans, fried yucca, green beans and fried plantains. It could easily feed a family of 4-6 hungry diners! We will be coming back. The service was fast and friendly and we liked the clean and simple atmosphere. read more

The food was great. The customer service was fast and accurate. This is a new restaraunt in the area and I decided to give it a try and it was good. The steak burrito was big and very flavorful. Both of the empanadas were great. The chicken empanada had a different taste than what I was expecting. Then I had to remember what type of restaurant it was and they used different type of seasonings. I say that to say it tasted good. read more

Bland mushy food that was still cold in some places. Very disappointing for supposed Brazilian dining. Bland. Warmed up mush. Won't be back.

Glorious, Wondrous Wednesday! Yes, another gem by way of Too Good to Go! The chicken was so well-marinated and seasoned that I decided to take a little leave of absence from cooking in my kitchen--to bask in the paradise of tasteful pleasures. Each tender bite carries the secrets of herbs, spices, and a dash of culinary bravado, making it less of a meal and more of a standing ovation on a plate. read more

This is a nice unassuming restaurant. Located in a former Wendy's from decades ago they have a good menu with their Peruvian rotisserie chicken being the star. It is well complimented with a variety of sides. I got the plantains and the black beans but most likely I would've been happy with any of the other seven sides they offer. Will try to find excuses to come back to this area and be a repeat customer. Well done. read more

I absolutely love the food here. I had the half quarter chicken breast very savory, not dry at all. I will say if you order the rice, you get a very small amount, so maybe order it as a large or request a pint (if that's available). I love the green beans very fresh and seasoned. Definitely smells better in the restaurant than it did when another owner had it. 100% recommend read more
