Honey Pimento Chicken Sandwich Meal
Joe S.

As far as Chick-fil-A's go, this one was pretty great. It seemed like a fairly new location, the food was delicious and fresh, and the bathrooms were clean. The staff even said "My Pleasure" after I thanked them. Pretty sweet! I tried the new Honey Pimento Cheese sandwich and substituted the spicy patty for the regular patty. The sandwich was excellent and I hope they keep in on their menu for good. The chicken patty was crispy, fresh and moist which is always a plus. The cheese was oozy and flavorful. I'd recommend for sure.

CFA madhouse, December 27th

Tuesday, December 27th. Absolute madhouse. The drive thru line not only wrapped through the CFA parking lot, but was at least 5 vehicles deep -in both directions- on the shopping plaza road that gets you into their parking lot. Basically, the drive thru line blocked dine in customers from parking so there are a ton of pedestrians walking into CFA from the Target parking lot. The men and women's restrooms both had lines, but luckily the restrooms were clean and stocked. Why busy CFA stores next to interstates are designed with only 3 stalls in the women's restroom is beyond me - so many are like this, it's not just a problem at this location. We utilized the CFA App to place our order. There is a computer screen showing orders so you can track where your order is "in line". Once our order was ready we made the trek back to our vehicle. As we handed out items, we found a tortilla soup that we did not order and were missing a mac&cheese. We couldn't even eat the soup if we wanted to because we didn't have a spoon. I made the trek back across the parking lots and back through the crowd to exchange the soup. The exchange was easy, a team member spotted me immediately and replaced the item. This location has a play area but it is still closed.

While visiting Jacksonville, I decided to have Chick-fil-A for breakfast. There is nothing negative to report here, per usual. The staff was extremely friendly, attentive, and quick. I places my order through the app and the driving thru process was extremely quick. My food was ready once I got to the window and I drove off into the sunset. Great location!

The staff is very nice they help us with everything with everything my husband got a chicken sandwich without anything on it they gave them one with pickles and they were really cool and gave him a new 1 right away. With extra sauce they were nice and gives us more sauce and when we are leaving they give us a bag to go and marsoda and Dalton was really nice that helped us.

I was in line for a total of 15 minutes from start to the time that I got my food in alone that looked like it would have taken most restaurants maybe 30 or 40 minutes. The staff was very efficient and friendly. They had two long car lines going for the drive-through and made the weights go by very quickly. The food was delicious and prepared exactly to order. They did a great job running this busy Chick-fil-A!

The always delicious Chick-fil-A- Chicken Biscuit for breakfast :)

Having lived in Gainesville for many years and gone to the old Chick-fil-a location, returning and going to the new one is such a huge change. Tons more parking, faster and more efficient drive thru lines, but still the same excellent customer service you expect from here. The people working are always courteous and the food is always delicious. Getting breakfast here is always great because the chicken biscuit is fantastic. The biscuit is flakey, buttery, and moist while the chicken is tender yet has a slight crispy crust. Top it off with the famous Chick-fil-a sauce, amazing! Good job, y'all! Keep up the good work and quality :)

Came in for lunch on a Saturday and my oh my was the placed packed! I ended up parking and eating in since the drive thru was so long. Walked in and the line inside was equally as long. Waited 10 mins or so and then was helped by a person with a tablet to speed the process along. This was nice and seemed efficient. Placed my order with her, and then continued along the line to pay. Once I sat down, my food was out within 5-7 minutes. I ordered the 8-count nugget and the side kale crunch salad. Was pleasantly surprised to see my 8-count Nuggets cake with a couple extra. But it was needed after eating my side salad. This kale salad was incredibly small! Could have eaten it in 4 normal sized bites. Crazy that healthy food is up-charged and then given to you do sparingly. Taste was good and it had a light dressing on it that gave it some flavor. Opted not to put the along on it, but they came on the side in case you want them. Nuggets a always were delicious. If the salad came with more kale and the wait to order wasn't so long, it would be a 5 star experience.

This Chic-Fil-A has recently opened at the time of this review. The improvements they made from their old location is primarily in the drive-thru. Let me just tell you... the designers of these drive-thru lines need to be running our Government! I mean it's a marvel at how Chic-Fil-A is able to process their long drive-thru lines with such ease every day (except Sunday). If you drive by you'll almost always see this double line wrapped nearly to the end of the parking lot. You think Staff is worried? Nah this is a normal day, they've got Employees outside taking your order and giving you that A1 service you have come to expect from this top tier fast food establishment. Now if you've stuck around this long you already know that I am a big fan of this place. However what I have only just come to know is that Chic-Fil-A has mac and cheese now! They got their scientist cows working double duty to craft this masterpiece. It's creamy dreamy perfect texture mac and cheese. A delicious sharp cheddar is what you can expect with hints of visible melted cheese adorned on the top of these macaroni. I will say, the competition isn't really strong when it comes to mac and cheese. Few fast food chains even offer it as an option. It's also not necessarily beating out sit down mac and cheese like the kind you will find at Texas Roadhouse, but that's not really their competition. I will list of a few places that it beats... KFC, Popeyes, Boston Market, David's BBQ, Adams BBQ. It's honestly not even close from the competition. Chic-fil-A did not set out to make a Kid's menu Mac n Cheese. They put some effort and time into making a genuinely tasty Mac and Cheese that I would never expect from a fast food establishment.

It wasn't exactly what I was going for, but that's more on me than the place. We also got a Pick Two combo: a strawberry banana smoothie (with oat milk, banana, strawberries, flax seeds, and agave) and the Thai Chicken Crunch salad (romaine, red cabbage, roasted chicken, carrots, celery, and wontons). Everything was decent and fresh, just nothing that really stood out flavor-wise. We took everything to go since we were busy getting her room set up, and it worked for what we needed--a quick, fairly healthy option. One thing I wish they offered was a smaller portion size; everything felt a bit too much for a light lunch.

My friend and I met after we parked our bikes. She was sitting outside, and as I was locking my bike, less than a block away, she texted me. I just walked to her without responding, and with a smile and a hug, we walked in to look at the menu. The sandwiches have some very creative names that go along with their creative construction. I got a #10, which was a fusion of French dip and Philly cheese!! I wanna buy the person a beer, whoever thought of that one! Even though it was busy, we didn't wait long to order. Every sandwich comes in a paper bag, so you can take it out or stay and munch. We got a combo with chips and a drink, because how else do you eat a big sandwich like this?! There are board games to play, decor that is not typical and a big display of Guy Fieri, from the Food Network, that lets you know this place is on America's culinary map. After the sandwiches were done, I brought them out to my friend Kimberly, who was saving our table. We both were hungry, so out of the wrap and in with the teeth. Mine was full of flavor and the fact that all the sandwiches are heat-pressed, made the texture very satisfying. The au jus was thick and delicious and made me think someone took great time and effort to make it. It is a casual restaurant, great for a date or a group of friends, or a solo quick lunch, that can also be a dinner as well. The food is somewhat pricey, but it delivers as a good meal with a creative touch. They could have emptied the garbage can more quickly, as it was more than overflowing, when I went to throw the garbage away. Memorable food, and makes me want to come back to try at least two other sandwiches that I read about.

Located in midtown, this appears to a fast casual place that caters towards college students. They serve "Greek" street food, salads, quesadillas, burgers, and more. The food is relatively inexpensive. Service is fine, actually the people working there are friendly. Food is made to order and comes out quickly. There is some seating available inside (it's limited) but there are plenty of tables in the hall. I ordered the Street Chicken Souvlaki which included grilled chicken with tomato, onion, fries inside a pita, topped with ketchup and mustard. This was a very large portion. The pita was good, but pretty much fell apart the second I picked it up. While I liked the chicken, it was over seasoned and I didn't care for the "sauced" quality of it. I'm not sure if they marinated it or tossed it in some sauce, but it was too much. The fries were decent, but not super crispy. I felt that they were not necessarily and a little over-the-top. The tomato was fresh and but the red onion slices were very thick. The mustard and ketchup didn't work with the seasonings on the chicken. The dish was just all over the place and I couldn't even finish half of it before I started feeling sick. I ordered a side of onion rings as well. This was a large order and the size was great. But these onion rings were over-battered and were fresh, but not crispy at all. I bit into one and ended up pulling out the whole onion rings. Not good. Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience. The food was so heavy and overly salted I couldn't even eat half of it. I ended up giving it to a homeless person on the way out. The food left my stomach in shambles the rest of the day. Service is fine. But the food is not desirable. It is safe to say I will not be returning, which is unfortunate.

Wait to order wasn't too bad and we found a table outside, but nobody was bussing any tables so basically customers sitting down were left clearing the dishes from the table of the people before them & wiping down the table. Nobody from the restaurant came out to help or apologize and it wasn't until dishes were almost toppling out of the bin that anyone took them away. Menu is pretty diverse - you can get some traditional items or more eclectic. We ordered the green goddess salad, croque mademoiselle (ham & cheese sandwich) on gluten free bread & okonomiyaki (japanese pancakes with cloud eggs). It took probably 30 min to get our food. The food presentation is really lovely & feels special when it's delivered. However, taste left something to be desired. The Japanese pancakes weren't good. The egg specifically looked really pretty all puffed up, but was so bad none of us were willing to have more than one bite. There were some other funky flavors going on there as well that detracted from enjoying it. The ham & cheese sandwich was okay, but the cheese is put on the outside, including a runny cheese, so it's a total mess to try and eat. Definitely do not order this one on a date! We ended up just eating the inside portion. It does come with a small green goddess type salad, which is nice. The entree green goddess appeared great when delivered. Loved the light, fresh dressing and ingredients. However, lots of the lettuce had sort of rotting tips, which made me worried to eat it especially since this isn't the cleanest place. Despite appreciating the quirkiness of the restaurant and the selection of fresh options they offer, we won't be returning.
