The service seems to have gone way downhill in the past year or so, and so has the quality of the food. Primarily though, the dedicated drive-through lane for app users is the crappiest idea and is a huge inconvenience for folks who don't want to use the app (ie sell your personal info to CFA) - the Chick-Fil-A on Houston has two normal lanes and usually no wait. Management of this location made an intentional decision to inconvenience customers that don't want to use the app; I will make an intentional decision to not give them my business. **Vegetarian Food Review** I was able to get a vegetarian meal while my husband was satisfying his chicken sandwich cravings. I got a Mac-n-cheese, Kale salad and Waffle Fries with some lemonade. For a QSR whose whole identity is around chicken, their kale salad was very well made. The Mac n cheese was also way better than any other QSR. No surprise that the waffle fries are pretty awesome. We came in today for a late lunch after A trip to the Ark Encounter. The line was not too bad when we came in but there were only two cashiers open. After we placed our order we went to try and find a seat and there was nowhere to sit. We had to split up into two groups and still waited several minutes standing up before another guest flagged us down to say they were leaving soon so that we could have their seat. There were definitely people sitting down saving seats who had not even ordered yet because they had no table marker. The food was good. No complaints here. They also gave us nice sized waters which I appreciated. We were very thankful to find a Chick-fil-A that had their play place open. The kids loved it. It has probably been almost a year since we have been to one that was open. Thank you! We have four kids and my wife is pregnant, it would've been nice if someone was coming around doing refills. We missed the old Chick-fil-A days of that. We had to get up and go to the counter to get more water. There were two older ladies working in the dining room but they were just cleaning up and not tending to any of the guests. I was going to order a salad but was informed that the salad dressing is room temperature and not cold. That is just disgusting to me. Haven't visited a bad Chick-fil-A and this location definitely wasn't going to be my first. On our way to Gatlinburg, we stopped in here to get some chicken since the ones where we're from in Michigan are always so busy. My fiancé and I both got some chicken tenders with fries and a drink. After we ordered, we sat down for maybe 3 minutes, and our food was already being brought over to us. We were amazed at how quick the service was, but were concerned that our food may have came from the heating drawer instead of being fresh. NOT the case though. It was piping hot and tasted like it just came out of the fryer. Paired with their sweet BBQ sauce, you can't go wrong. While en route to Nashville or Gatlinburg, we'll make sure to hold off our hungry to make sure we can stop in here. read more

*Drive-Through Review We LOVE Chick-fil-A (especially the spicy chicken deluxe sandwiches)! No matter which location we go to the food is always impeccable and so is the service. In true Chick-fil-A fashion the drive-through line was extremely long, wrapping around the parking lot and into the street. Employees were out taking orders from cars and our wait time was only about 10 minutes (from beginning to end) when it would have been twice that, at least, anywhere else. This location was as awesome as all other locations, except for one thing, SANTA!!! It was super cool seeing Santa walking through cars and talking to people. This store cheats you out of portion sizes. We ordered a quart of ice dream and got a lot less than a quart. Actually 2" below the top rim. I have ordered at other locations and got full quart to the top rim. When I ordered it at the drive thru I told them to fill tot he top. Now if you went to the grocery and purchased a quart of ice cream and opened the lid to find it 3/4 full you would not be happy. There is no reason Chick-fil-A is any different. This is a great location and still brand new to the area. Fantastic costumer service, food is consistently good quality, and one of the few fast food places that what you order looks like what you see pictured on the menu. Fresh squeezed lemonade daily, chocolate chip cookies that melt in your mouth, and you can go healthy with the chicken wrap...I recommend with avocado lime ranch. Food tasted as one expects from Chick-fil-A. The chicken nuggets seemed to be slightly larger than other location I have visited recently. I had thought the nuggets at other locations were getting smaller, this confirms it. Buns and produce were all fresh. Lemonade was slightly tart. That tartness made it super tasty. The super food salad was a nice change from the fries. I was surprised that the salad, that is mostly kale, was not bitter. The people in our party who ordered the chicken tortilla soup all enjoyed it. It is a cream based soup. While it isn't much to look at, they all said they would order it again. A small bag of tortilla strips accompanies the soup. This way they do not get soggy before the soup is eaten. One of the things Chick-fil-A is know for is it's customer service. This location has it in spades. Even the cow puts on a Prime preformance. This cow did not stop after giving hugs and posing for pictures. This cow proceeded to pretend to eat food, try and open a book from a kid's meal, take orders behind the register, and even deliver food. The cow was still entertaining guests when we left. Each Cick-fil-A location is independently owned and operated. As such, there are slight differences at each. At this location, cutlery is not located on the condiment carts. They bring out a spoon or fork if a salad or soup is ordered. If you have someone in your group who like to eat their chicken nuggets with fork, you will need to ask at the register. The night we were there, this location did have one employee dedicated to walking around to each table asking if she could get them anything. The dining room was clean. This location has a modern feel, with some farmhouse touches. There is ample parking. If you are in a hurry, I would suggest the drive thru. Leaving a two-star review because our order is wrong half the time - we are frequently missing at least one item, which leaves someone in our family without their meal. This Chick-fil-A definitely needs training and is very inconsistent with the traditional brand. The new morning crew is unprofessional and does not carry the "my pleasure Dna" . Went through the drive thru received my drinks without straws, so I simply asked for a straw and the drive thru attendant acted as if it were a huge hassle. Once I got my straw the drink was made incorrect and filled with heavy ice. I simply asked for a refill and to correct the issue. She said she could not take the drink back through the drive thru window. The new supervisor on duty Andrea said this was their policy so I asked if I could walk in to fix my drink order. She said since the cup left the premises it could not be refilled. This is the worst I've ever been treated at a Chick-fil-A franchise. What happens if you eat on the patio can you not go back inside for a refill? The issue is that the drink wasn't made correctly in the first place and I was being treated like a criminal. Love this location and all the other locations! One can't gov wrong with chick-fil-a. My order was messed up in the drive thru just with cars being out of order or whatever it may have been, and the two girls in the drive thru figured it out and made my experience there today just as good as all the other ones. I believe they were both named Natalie and they were super sweet and deserve a pat on the back! It was their pleasure and they made me feel like the whole problem wasn't a hassle or my fault.
