McAllister's is a really good sandwich shoppe that are in a few different locations in our region. I like their selection of baked potatoes with toppings although I didn't get one on this occasion. What I did get was a Spicy Turkey Melt Sandwich. It came with roasted turkey, bacon, pepperjack cheese, avocado, chipotle ranch, spring mix, and tomato, all on a baguette. Quite a good sandwich as the chipotle ranch really stood out to me. I got a side of mac and cheese which was pretty good. The service was adequate and the restaurant looked fine as busy as it was. This is one of our favourite lunchtime stops and I can't wait to try some other stuff on their menu. read more

First time, great food, friendly staff, dinner like atmosphere where the staff will ask how you're doing and is everything to your liking. You order up front and they bring your food to the table. Richelle got the 1/2 potato and 1/2 French dip. I got the spud max. Food is fresh and delicious. My hack is if you get a spud max, remove the paper wrap plate garnish, or you're going to eat paper with your spud. read more

I've always loved the McAlister's in crestview hills, and even though I don't live here anymore, I was excited when they announced the new location. We came In a group Of 10 and it was super quick. We get catering often but appreciate the new location as an option when staying in Florence. This was super busy at noon on a Thursday. My sister and I came to this restaurant for lunch around 1:30pm... right when we walk in the guy (Bray) at the front is literally checking us out, eyeing us and being creepy... asks us if we want a "choose 3"? (I'll let you guess what that means..... as in a threesome?) Asks for my sisters name and has hit on her multiple times when she comes in because this restaurant is close to her SCHOOL!!! it made her so uncomfortable and me as well. He proceeds to flirt with me and her and awkwardly takes our order while flirting with us. I am having none of it. I have worked in food service for 8 years and this is one of my most awkward uncomfortable interactions. I will NOT be coming back here or letting my sister come here anymore. I saw a female worker heading to the bathroom and confided in her about our experience she said this isn't the FIRST time she's heard stuff like this happening to females who come in. I am absolutely disgusted that we're encouraging or employing people who keep up this behavior. The female employee was very kind to give us his name and apologized for the interaction I appreciate her being so understanding and apologetic. read more

I had the country potato soup. I asked the lady at the cash register what was in the soup. She said 'It's a creamy potato soup.' What I ended up getting was white colored water. A few little slices of potato. A few strands of cheese and a sprinkle of green onion. And a bit of bacon. There was nothing 'creamy' about it. It could have been only milk for the broth for all I know that's what the consistency was. Creamy actually means like you add flour or a thickening agent to it. Means if you dip your spoon it and take it out some of the cream should be on the spoon. I ate the few little bits of sliced potato and a tiny bit of the bacon and the bread that it came with on the side and just threw the rest out which was a waste of money since I ordered a bowl. read more
