My fave lunch and app!!
Peter I.

The thing I like about this particular, Chick-fil-A is a couple of things, first huge parking lot, second outside and inside, so lots of seats and that's pretty good when the closest high school gets out lol. Again, one of my favorite things about this chain is how well they have done the app. You walk in you go immediately to their Wi-Fi. You say dine in you order and then scan your table number. Done in five minutes you're piping hot food is right in front of you with a smiling employee. A service here is always been great. I haven't done the drive-through, but it looks like it's very popular. If you're in the area in Encinitas, give it a go has my thumbs up.

Ordered ahead and still had to pull forward. I don't have lots of money because I'm a student, so I only buy hot food from specific places. Now I won't be back to this location because the biscuit was charred. Ate it anyways because I needed to eat before my class. Every shift is different in fast food, but I thought Chick-fil-A had certain standards of what the food should look like before handing it out. :(

Market salad with bad lettuce

We are regular customers to this establishment and I thought we finally got them to get the orders right. Tonight was a bad night for them. Not one person saw that the lettuce they made our salads with was brown and should never have been considered sellable. It is a sad day when you can't depend on something as simple as fresh lettuce in your salad. Time to consider something else.

Chick-fil-A Nuggets (8 count) Diet Coke

I really wish Chick-fil-A wasn't homophobic, but the food and service are so good. I mobile ordered for in-store pick up and received my food within a few minutes. They correctly gave me all of the sauces I requested, too! The service was also amazing, as the staff were very polite and eager to help. It appears as though their drive-through is always clogged, so I can't speak to the speed of that, but in terms of in-store ordering, it's pretty efficient. Definitely opt for this option if you don't want to wait in your car. I got the 8 count chicken nuggets with a Diet Coke, and yup--it hits the spot! They let you get a maximum of 3 sauces with your order. My sister got a free cookie for her birthday! Remember to download the app! The ambiance is very, very casual and kid-friendly. There's seating inside and outside, and it seems pretty clean/well-kept.

Spicy Deluxe Sandwich
Dani S.

This place gives me major stomachaches! Was here one day and got a chicken deluxe sandwich. It was super expensive for what it is. I paid seven dollars just for the sandwich à la cart. Several hours later, I started having a major stomachache, and cannot pay attention or focus at all. It also caused major gas and bloating. Quite disgusting. Whatever is in there sure is not good for the body.

I think it was happy hour, and it was pretty quiet to start. Edgar the bartender greeted me. I sat at the bar and ordered a strawberry mango cooler, which doesn't contain alcohol. I also ordered chips and guacamole. The cooler was super sweet so I probably would order something else next time. The chips and guacamole were really good. The guacamole was super fresh and it had sliced jalapeños in it that you could easily pick out if you don't like spice, but I do like the spice and I enjoyed it a lot.. When I left, quite a few people had come in for happy hour and it was a fun, festive atmosphere. You can sit partially outside which is also nice! I'm so happy CPK is in my neighborhood. They quietly opened in November 2025, but I only just found out recently. I have enjoyed their salads a lot in the past (amongst other things) so I look forward to coming back for lunch or happy hour.

The inside is quite small with a limited number of tables, and their back service area seems to be quite cramped, and in a constant state of confusion and disarray. It's also nearly always quite chilly in the restaurant, to the point of being uncomfortable. We loved the Solana Beach location, but sadly, this is a pale replacement. We have been loyal CPK customers for many years, but not sure loyalty is going to be enough to keep us going back to this location.

The food is incredibly fresh and perfect if you're looking for healthy, on-the-go options that don't sacrifice flavor. There's also really cute to dog oriented, snack, snacks, and outfits. I'll have to check out their wine in more detail. I mean from the grocery store if you head back then you go straight into the farm grounds. There is a 12 or $15 charge for a farm tour but if you have kids, it's perfect cause you get to go see the farm animals, including the owner's horse and they have a cute little train ride. In the back is also a brewery of their craft brews. See them in pictures I've added. I definitely need to go back to check out the craft brewery. -No dogs allowed on the farm portion I went upstairs to have brunch, which is a new addition to the area. Staff was definitely attentive. I recommend making reservations for this so that you get the tables either outside overlooking the farm or the field. We did a walk-in for four people so we could only get a table on the inside. It's definitely a cool place to hang out temperature wise. Food was pretty quick to come out. Portion sizes are moderate to big that we had to take home some stuff. We did have an issue where the chicken was undercooked, but they were able to remedy that very quickly. Definitely get the beet hummus. I only wish they had more crudités accompany it. You can see it only came out in a small little dish. Probably would recommend either sizing down the hummus or going up on the vegetables to make it a little bit more complete. The chicken and pancake was definitely interesting and not what I expected. Pancake is carrot and lemon, but you can't really taste the lemon. It only had sparse carrot in it, but definitely still worth a taste. The chicken was definitely savory and more herby so it kind of overpowered the pancake a bit. Definitely chicken packed. Fries came out pretty soggy, which was a downside. The root vegetable has looked pretty good and it was definitely a sizable portion. The eggs and pasture was a little bit interesting in the sense that day. It was kind of a fried egg surrounded by a pasta sauce and then there's bread ciabatta slices on the plate. It's pretty good not overly salty or overly tart for the sauce. Definitely a good keto/Paleo option if you don't eat the bread. We also had their banana bread, which was really good - it wasn't able to take pictures of it since we demolished it pretty quickly. I highly recommend any bakery items. It's a very family friendly affair as we saw large families with numerous children coming in and you can have a place to let the dogs run in the small field front of the restaurant. I saw a lot of other families is bringing their dogs out onto the patio portion of the restaurant. Overall, the ambience is very family friendly and I would definitely come back here again for a chill morning brunch. Note that they close at 1 PM for brunch! Warning: that there's a limited parking so you need to get there early! They will have a traffic mediator once it's full

It's tough to get a table for a weekend noon. I booked our reservation a few weeks ahead of time. Parking is either near the train tracks across the street or on the curb. We got the egg dish and salad bowl. The yogurt for the eggs was deliciously spiced; dipping in the toasted bread into the gooey poached egg, creamy yogurt, and herbs was delicious! My issue with this dish were the herbs that were too large. Was I expected to stick a big piece of herb on my toast? The dish is saucy with the chili oil so my clothes were dirty with the oil covered herbs. Chop the herbs smaller for practicality! Another dish suffered from the execution. We got the bowl which I thought was going to be a grain bowl. Rather, it was a ridiculously-sized salad--as much leaves as a pack from the grocery store! There were toppings within like slices of avocado, pieces of orange, farro, and nuts. I felt like I was trying to treasure hunt to look for these pieces. The salad was comically oversized. It was dressed fine but suffered from the portion size. You could see this theme with the French toast too where you get 1/3 of a baked bread. I'm honestly confused by this chef who has amazing experience. Why do you construct dishes that are difficult and impractical to eat? Less is more. These dishes need extensive edits. How this place got Bib Gourmand is honestly surprising to me.
