Although Dahlonega offers many great places to eat with loads of specialty places on and near the square I find myself returning to the Chick-fil-A more often than anyplace. The SERVICE is unparalleled and like all other Chick-fil-A locations, they always exceed my expectations. Although this store is always packed and finding parking is sometimes a challenge you walk into a long line that moves very quickly. If you use the app you will also earn free food items which are an added benefit. As an example of the great service, on my last visit, a man in front of me tried to use a gift card that was expired for over a year, the young lady ringing his order and a manager was at her side quickly. He said he had not realized it and got out a debit card but the manager handed him a new card good for a full year without him ever having to ask. He was super grateful. How many businesses would have done something like that? Only Chick-fil-A!!! The food is always served quickly and brought to your table fresh and hot. I love their Spicy Chicken Sandwich and it is always consistent and great at every location I order. This location is one of the best ones I've ever been too, and I've been to many all over the south. The Team Members are always enthusiastic (and I know there are days they just don't want to be there) and they seem to genuinely enjoy the guests business and company. The food is always fresh, and if it's not, the team will work hard to make it right for you. The management is always happy to assist you with any of your food quality and order accuracy needs. I've witnessed Team Members assist new app users in setting up and scanning their apps (this can be time consuming, but still pleasing to see). They truly go above and beyond! Other Chick-fil-A locations in this area do not show this Same level of professionalism or customer service care. There are times when this location has a drive-thru line to the road, and a inside line out the doors, but the Team Members work hard to insure the guests get the fastest service possible. Drive-thru is run with the Face-2-Face team, making a speedy order process. They sometimes take payment as well, allowing you, as a guest, to only have to grab your food, drink, and any dessert from the window. Inside, they'll have 3-4 people running the Front Counter, and management is always hands on. The baggers always double check the food before they serve it to the guest. Pulled forward, waited, and waited, was asked what name was on the order twice, finally asked to pull forward into a parking space, waited and waited, cars around me received their orders, waited some more, asked again what name was on the order, waited longer, approx 10 more minutes, asked one of the attendants was there a problem with my order, asked my name again, waited some more time, people parking beside me receiving their order. waited a little longer, and just as i was going inside to speak to some about my order, a young man brought my order. Checked the bag for contents, appeared to be correct. upon arriving home checked the bag, found I had a chicken rather than a Sausage Burrito. Appears that Chick-fil-A is in competition with McDonald's as to who has the worse drive thru with incorrect orders. Waited appox 23 minutes to receive an incorrect order. read more

I have been very busy lately. So it's very hard for me to cook and make time for it. So I order from Chick-fil-A because as you would expect from the past they are very reliable on getting your food and doing it in a quick manner. However lately my food has been wrong five times in a row. It's an hour or two late. It's cold it's wrong. I tell them that half the food is missing that is literally on my receipt. I'm not sure what's going on with the location but I feel like they need to take a little bit more effort on actually doing their job and reading what the customer wants instead of wasting my time and my money. Decided to take the fries with it when it came, to save time. My Traditional Chick-fil-A sandwich was like something out of a vending machine and put in the microwave for 8 seconds. With that being said, this particular Chick-fil-A in Dahlonega does a pretty good job of living up to the main focuses of the Chick-fil-A brand. Being a local, I have been there quite a few times and have seen the good and the not so good. They have great customer service wheronly a few time have a I felt like it's been lacking and their food is top notch though I do recall there being instances where it didn't seem very fresh. This location has a lot of employee turnover; therefore causing a lack of quality training for newer employees. I tend to stick to the mobile ordering because I get points for purchasing that way and later get free products for doing so. Majority of the time when I go to pick it up, either the internet is down (thanks, Windstream) or the employee working the drive-thru does not know how to pull the order up properly on their tablet. Food, however, always turns out great. If training and new employee knowledge were better, you would definitely have a five-star review from me! read more

My recent trip, I had the Frozen Lemonade. I like this better than a milkshake, if that's possible. I haven't had a real problem with the service other than sometimes when you have to change something up on the order (like switching out fries for a side salad on a Number 5) can sometimes be confusing in the drivethru, but you have to remember: they are hearing your order and not seeing you face to face. And, there are a lot of young employees there -- everyone deserves a learning curve. Was in there a few weeks and they were doing breakfast for dinner. I work at a chick fil a in another location, and I love chick fil a and the food but truthfully this location is lacking in service. There was only 1 person on the register- it was around 2:40pm and I saw at least 3 employees walking around that weren't bagging or on a register or in drive thru. They literally looked at the line of people, smiled, and walked away instead of getting on a register and helping. One manager (Daniel ? I think) saw the people and clocked out for a break, while another a few minutes later smiled at the line of people and went to join the first manager at his table. It was really annoying due to the amount of time I spent waiting in line and the line not moving. The poor girl on the only register was doing her best and no one stopped to help. Where I work, customers are our number one priority and if we see a line waiting to be helped, we stop what we are doing and get on a register. I'm just honestly disappointed.
