My wife and I were sharing and she settled on the Steak Biscuit breakfast sandwich because she'd heard it tastes like the old Grandy's steak biscuit (I don't remember ever eating at Grandy's). We ordered on the app and picked up in the drive thru. The attendant was friendly and told us to pull up to the stop sign to wait for fresh food. The Steak Biscuit and Bo-Tato Rounds came out hot. I liked the biscuit, but the steak was too thin and got lost. My wife said, "It kind of tastes like Grandy's, but Grandy's was better," it has to have been 40 years since she's eaten there. The real star for me was the Bo-Tato Rounds! I would go back just for those. They were hot, flaky and just greasy enough to have that forbidden "it's bad for you" tater bliss!

The staff is always friendly, the place is spotless, and the line somehow moves way faster than it looks like it should. Chimac did not offer patio seating outside, and for the cost of the food, you get enough to pack up and take home with you for a snack later. Like a well oiled machine they powered through the endless line. They were efficient for sure, but I was most impressed by their care and customer service. This team is truly running like a well oiled machine. As far as the food, Cane's is Cane's. If you're new to this concept, you really only need to keep two things in mind. 1. They serve 4 main items, fried chicken tenders (yes, only tenders), crinkle fries, coleslaw, and Texas toast. These 4 items are offered in a handful of variations and combinations. 2. No matter which combo tickles your pickle, enjoy it with Cane's sauce.
