The volume this site does is breath taking. The folks who stand out side in the weather are a key to keeping things moving - hats off to process. Given the site and layout it's truly impressive to see the number of patrons. Yes it's a chain, and my pleasure is the standing phrase of the day. Sweet boyfriend bribed me to run errands with him promising a trip for food to Chick Fil A yesterday evening. It was dark, foggy, and raining, and the drive thru line was long. But when you are amongst the masses of chicken sandwich lovers waiting in drive thru, you are practically with family, right? Anyway, pouring rain, and an employee taps on our window and explains the line was so long because their ordering system lost connection and thus people were ordering at the window. He advised us to order through the mobile app if we could. No big deal, and I started downloading the app on my phone. A manager comes out a few minutes later and apologizes and asks us if we were taken care of. At this point I was entering payment information into the app, and had our order almost done. TWO employees, including a manager, were out in the POURING rain making sure their customers were taken care of. By the time we made it to the window not much longer, our food was handed to us in the same amount of time it would have taken on a perfect day when everything was operational. Talk about efficiency and customer service! I was WOWED. It's hard to maintain excellent customer service and efficiency in a tough situation. These guys nailed it. Way to go. I have NEVER been disappointed in them and for that reason have always said, I'm always down for chick-fil-a" That being said. . I have finally found the chick-fil-a that I will never return to. This was the most disguisting and worst experience I have ever had at a chick-fil-a. SERVICE: I ordered and original ckn sandwich, a spicy ckn sandwich and 2 side salads. She asked me what kinds of dressings: Blue cheese and 1000 Island. Went to the ladies to wash my hands. My fiancee tells me upon my return that they only gave him 1 salad and 2 dressings. I'd already thrown away my receipt so I had to pay for another salad which my fiancee was upset about, but I'm not gonna argue with the rude cashier. I'll just pay the $2 and change and be done with it. very ghetto store btw. FOOD: the spicy sandwich looked great, but mine, the original was disgusting. It had no coating. you k now that crunch factor you're looking for in the orig. ? nope not here/ so you had the grease still there w/ no outer coating crunch. just plain gross. I am from Hutto, so I was searching for a Chick-fil-A that was actually open on Labor Day for breakfast. In the app it said that this location was open when I arrived it was closed, why wouldn't let me place the order if they weren't doing breakfast today? I tried to talk to one of the workers asking if they could let their manager know just so that I could get fixed for future reference and she's the door in my face. Love, love, and love. Chick filet tenders and spicy chicken are my favorite in any chain. I pulled into a line that wrapped the business twice. There was traffic out the "wazoo" on the roads... What the heck lets wait in line. It flowed! Take note other fast food chains!! Prompt, smiling faces polite!... and . Lemonade is one of a couple fast food chains that's fresh squeezed. Waffle fries are a breed of their own. I appreciated a person to talk to and take my order on a touch screen outside and when I rolled up to the window.. Hanged my payment and received my receipt along w food AND all the correct condiments not 2 minutes later... Absolutely blown away. I was looking for something wrong with my order, hot and fresh. First off I wonder if this even a real location or is this some knock off version of a real chickfla...This is a night & day comparison from ANY other location in Austin or surrounding area. Went through Drive thru orders breakfast biscuits and chicken minis & chicken nuggets we got biscuits with no protein in them just bread!!!!! Called to speak with the manager, was given Thea who giggled at the situation. Proceeded to tell me they will not give a refund but will send out coupons. I am needing my refund for ChickFla basically stealing from my family. I gave them money & they didn't give me what I paid for. They are far from my house too... I told Thea that her response is "bullchit" and she said "since you are cussing I am hanging up..." Great way to piss a customer off & then hang up on them because YOU refused to make it right. I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN! I NEED ED CAMPOS to call me & to let him know that his location needs help & quality people that have enough respect for themselves to know how to treat other people. I love Chick-fil-A in general and this location in particular! For fast food it is always delicious and reasonably priced. The lemonade is so good and the IceDream cones are the best soft serve ice found. Every Wednesday they have a special where you get a free order or nuggets or original chicken sandwich (it switches every week) when you buy a combo meal. We also get the calendars for Christmas which give you a yummy freebie every month. Jose, the manager, is such a nice guy! We went through the drive-thru on Halloween last year and me, my guy, and our dog were all wearing costumes. My dog Beau of course was sniffing the delicious smells and the girl working the drive they thought he was so cute in his costume that she called some other employees and Jose over to see him. Sadly they couldn't give him pets - but good job following food safety and health regulations - but Jose grabbed a box of nuggets and gave Beau his own 4-piece box!! Needless to say, every time we go back he now tries to climb out the window!! AND Jose has given him his own nuggets AGAIN every time he sees there! I told him he is my dogs new bff. The staff are always so cheerful and friendly! We always seem to be there when Jose is working and you can tell that the employees really respect him and like him as well. The store is always super-clean, the food is fresh and hot, the line gets long because it's so good but they immediately open extra registers and get everyone served quickly. I love chick-fil-a in general, so out of respect for the brand I'll give this location 2 stars. I've never had bad experience with a chick-fil-a, ever. That is until I started picking up from this location. Our orders to go are constantly missing items. There's little, to no sympathy shown by the staff. This is highly unusual for a chick-fil-a, they're widely known for being extremely customer friendly. With that said, I can't say I'll be ordering from this specific location again. It's always a crapshoot when you come here. We tend to go because it's close and we're lazy, and sometimes the food and service are really good, but other times it's a train wreck. Sometimes the fries are cold or under-seasoned. Sometimes the fries are hot but the chicken is cold. Sometimes they forgot to leave off the pickles. The drive thru workers often get confused when you give them a slightly complex order, and more than half the time I wind up with an IceDream cone when I asked for a cup. The franchise itself is great; it's just this location that is hit or miss 3/15/17 update: AVOID THIS DUMPSTER FIRE OF A LOCATION LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT, B/C IT JUST MIGHT!! Seriously, every time I go through the drive thru--even when I can look the little punks square in the eye--they get my order wrong. Every time. EVERY TIME. This last time I actually stormed back into the store demanding they fix my food, and the manager offered no apologies, comps, anything! Not even a vow for it to never happen again--but I guess that's the only thing honest any employee there has ever done, bc ain't nobody can make that claim! The fact that this location does not have a higher review is mind boggling to me. This is THE only CFA location I've been to in Austin and they do a damn good job in keeping it the one and only CFA location I go to. First of all, the lines here can be VERY deceiving. While there may be long lines both at the drive thru and inside, they go by super fast! The MOST I've waited in line had to have been 6 mins tops. When you go through the drive-thru, they literally run out the orders to you! It's so great. They do such an amazing job making sure you get in and get out as quickly as possible. This particular location, does a special on Wednesdays where if you make your meal a large, you get a free entree. Sometimes it's a free CFA sandwich, other times it's a free 8 PC nuggets. Also, this particular location offers a 10% discount if you work in the area (i.e.: dell, GM, etc) So, all in all, this location is stellar! They do an amazing job with customer service and I always leave happy when coming here. I have zero complaints! CFA is doing it right :) read more

I started with the grilled chicken because I'm in a phase, when the order came out we were missing a fry and my chicken was very dry and chewy, tasted like it had been under a heat lamp for a while. I couldn't finish it. It didn't really bother me, because I can understand maybe it doesn't get ordered very often. So I went ahead and ordered the classic chicken nuggets thinking they'd be fresher (it was 5:30 and the dinner crowd was rolling in). But I was disappointed in the classic chicken ALSO! This chicken was also dry and chewy, really tasted like something I could poorly bake at home. SEE ONE OF THE PHOTOS. The breading was weird.. not quite the quality I've come to expect from a Chick-fil-a. Half of the chicken looked undercooked, in that the breading was a pale yellow, and the other half seemed to be cooked in old or dirty grease, there was gross black breading. We drove near 30 minuets for a chickfila with indoor seating, we live near down town, and honestly I wish we'd just went there. At least i would of gotten quality chicken. Really disappointed. Each time I've been through drive thru, I've either missed the condiments that I ordered or in one case my soup. But there was like 5 customer in the line including my self . Well my turn comes . Cashier say my I help you ? And then I order the kids meal for My daughter .first time ordering that for my baby at this place so I ask the cashier is that all my choices for the kids meal ? AWESOME!!! Spotless interior, not a crumb on the floor, crazy clean! Spotless bathrooms too. Even the parking lot seemed to be getting attention as there was none of the typical fast food trash blowing around like other places nearby. Very courteous employees who spoke English perfectly. Super fast to get out food to dine in customers, I thought only Wendy's could move that fast but now I know better. The drive through line was moving at a fast pace the entire time we were dining in. Best of all the food actually looked like the food pictured on the TV ads and signs inside the store. Bacon on sandwich was crispy and of course the chicken was divine. Bun nice and fresh. Lettuce green and fresh. I'm kicking myself for not snapping a picture but I was super hungry lol. Waffle fries were seasoned perfectly with just the right amount of salt. They don't ask for your name when you order, they actually remember which face goes with which order and bring the food to your table. I cannot recall any other place that can do this and they were darn accurate too. Visited during dinner rush on a Friday 7/28/17 at around 8pm while coming home from a trip to Dallas. Was surprised just how much seating is inside this place as it didn't look that big from the outside. All the condiments are out in the open, not hidden away or only available for an extra fee like other places. Getting tired of cheapskates who make you ask for napkins or extra ketchup, none of that nonsense here! The play area for children has good sound insulation so one can enjoy their meal in peace. Kids seemed to really be enjoying the play area. Almost forgot it was there except when the door was opened and only then could you really hear the kids playing in there. You know how some places when you order a water they give you a stupid tiny cup, forcing you to get up for refills? Not here! Gave me a good sized cup of water so I did not have to waste time refilling it. This whole operation is really set up with ease of use and speed in mind. I order my nuggets and the very nice, accommodating order taker made it pleasant from the get-go. I was so happy to pay the drive thru dude my money because he wasn't your typical "what did she say...oh, no, did she.." background chatter as you watch your food cool off on the drive thru window. My first-ever in-store Chick-Fil-A experience. We got 6-piece chicken nuggets (kids meals), with waffle fries and a drink. Half sweet tea, half unsweetened tea. We even changed out our "toys" for soft-serve cones. It's fast food, and it's way up north in the middle of nowhere. But it's cheap, tasty, they have a big drink selection, they let grown ups (such as we are) get kids meals, and they gave us ice cream. Makes it cool in my book. read more
