This is the worst CFA in the contiguous US. The staff is extremely rude and uncaring. I've been to many, many CFAs across the country and have never encountered this level of disregard and disrespect. Whoever the franchise owner is should be ashamed and embarrassed of the operation being ran here. On top of the low quality staff the food tasted disgusting. The nuggets tasted like cigarettes and the fries were cold and disgusting. I'm not sure how they managed this. read more

This location has gone downhill ever since the remodel. Today it took over 15 minutes to get my order. My previous order only had 9 nuggets in a 12 ct. box, and they were stale and dry. The whole "my pleasure" mantra is just a psyop to make you think they care. read more

It's hard to explain just how insanely busy this Chick-fila location always seems to be. I consistently visit during non-peak hours and the drive-thru is always 20 cars deep and the inside is darn near full. They appear to do a good job of managing it all but the volume does appear to cut into the experience. It simply takes longer to get your food, sometimes the inside of the restaurant isn't in the best shape and the condiments are from time to time thoroughly picked over. Is it a deal breaker? No. Will I keep coming back? For sure. Is it the best Chick-fila experience. No. But, that being said they still have great food and have always gotten my order right. I sort of feel like they are a victim of their own success. Anyway, give it a go if you're around. I'd just suggest not going during the lunch or dinner rush. read more

When it comes to chicfila I think fast friendly service and great food. Not at this location. On 3 occasions in the last few months the order was incorrect. They will help but seem to blame others rather than with a smile kindly helping making it correct. For sure do not go in the last hour of business. They will let you know they are about to close any chance they get. The welcome feeling all other chicfila restaurants have does not pour over to this site. It is hard to find a clean table or seat most anytime. They have removed a portion to have more work space or something. As much as my large family enjoy chicfila we are extremely happy there is 3 more locations in Amarillo. We will visit those. I suggest all others do as well. read more

The line went very quick despite their being about 8 cars in front of us, so I was impressed. HOWEVER, the quick line did not make up for the staff missing several pieces of our order. I checked the bag (2 kids meals & 2 adult salads... not that hard, right??), and received the kids meals with only a fruit cup in it. No chicken nuggets anywhere in sight!! Normally, I'm calm when this stuff happens except we were asked to go through the line AGAIN to wait for our food to be corrected instead of them correcting it on the spot. AND then had 6 additional workers stop our car and have to repeat ourselves. It was such a mess and could've been handled so much better. Last night was the first time I was ever at this chick-fil-a. I'm not sure if I've been to any of the others either to be honest. I was in the mood for something peppermint flavored and someone suggested that the peppermint milkshake at Chick-fil-A was good so I dropped by and got one. The line was so long at the drive-thru I decided to park and go in. The place was absolutely mobbed! It was December 26th so not particularly a holiday although right after 1:00. They did seem to keep things moving and there were lots and lots of employees which I know is not the case of many places. Every one of them was on the run every minute I watched them. There was standing room only of people waiting for to go orders and it probably took me 10 or 15 minutes to get to the counter, order and get my shake, not too bad. I asked the young man behind the counter if it was always like this and to my surprise he said yes. When I walked out the line of cars was still wrapped around the building. If I decide to go to a Chick-fil-A again maybe I will try the one up Coulter and see if it is less crazy. The milkshake was good but for almost $5 I probably won't get it again. read more

My husband and I stopped in Amarillo on our epic road trip to Denver and the line was wrapped around the building. We ditched the carpool line and decided to order inside and sit an eat but OMG the line was half way out of the door and all the tables were full. Lucky by the time we ordered and received our food the larger parties were leaving. Even with all of the commotion, we were greeted with a huge smile from all the employees and the dinning room was clean. This Chick-fil-a is located a few miles off of the highway, so I didn't expect for it to be busy. However; everyone was happy moving along as if this happens daily, so be prepared to wait. read more

The food was fresh and delicious, like always at chick fil a. What set this one apart was the portion size, I got a spicy chicken sandwich and the filet was the biggest I've ever seen at a CFA before, genuinely 2 1/2 inches tall. Service was good, restaurant was clean, great experience. read more

Brutally slow drive thru...not like other Chick-Fil-A locations. Spent 40+ minutes in drive thru line. Line has barricades up so you can't bail out once you are in line. Once we got to order, we were told the milkshake machine was broken. They ended up forgetting ketchup and one of our fries. I wish today were Sunday - we never would have stopped. read more

Chick-fil-a -what's not to like. So happy we were back in Texas from our road trip to CO and found a Chickfila for lunch. Went here after spraying some cars at the Cadillac ranch. Wasn't far from here if you plan to do that too. But wow so busy here. Wrapped around twice but so efficient as always and we got our massive order in less than 10mins. All there. Delicious sandwiches, nuggets, coffee, mango tea and the best sweet tea. How can Chickfila do wrong? Met our expectations as always. Hit the spot. The workers were joyful and helpful. My FAVORITE CFA in Amarillo...a really great rewards program (when you order in the app). However, the lunch rush and dinner rush are a NO-GO. If you want their delicious food during lunch rush (11:30-1:30) then prepare for 20-40 mins once you get on property. I'm not too familiar with their dinner but I've heard others say it's a long wait. The restaurant is open for dining but half the folks inside have ordered on the app and are bypassing the drive-thru line trying to get their food quicker. Know that it's not necessarily quicker. The drive thru is a big, hairy cluster at times although they sure get you through, usually and at times quicker than the "carry out" method. Sept 2022 seems like a shift in their business plan because they no longer offer curbside service. The mass amount of patrons are still getting used to it, but often CFA seems overwhelmed with people. They are friendly and have good service, but the wait is often long during lunch and dinner rush. When the drive-thru is busy-- it piles up quickly in the parking lot. I suggest parking a lot over and walking to the restaurant, rather than parking in their clustered lot, if you're bypassing the drive-thru and doing "carry out" instead. By parking a lot over, you can get in and out much quicker, rather than the big lot which can be a big mess with lines wrapping all the way around the building. *hope this helps!* read more

Like most of the people in the United States, Chick-Fil-a is one of my favourite quick places to eat. The offer a wide variety of options from salads to sandwiches at a great price point. I was feeling extra basic today, so I settled with the number 1 combo with a Hi-C Fruit Punch. All I can say is, scrum-diddly-umptious. It's such a classic, it's like getting a fresh slap to the face from Granny. Honestly, this place vibes hard, but the bathrooms tell a different story. First off, walking in made a few complications. The way the bathroom is oriented, makes the inwards swinging door block off the urinal, creating an awkward shuffle among people that are already in the room. On the upside, this facility makes use of its room, and it's layout is configured to allow for a maximum of 2 users with a handful of people waiting in queue. The sink has a good pressure, and was able to heat up surprisingly quick, which made for a speedy hand washing experience. For drying the place also implemented the use of paper towels, which although might be a little detrimental to the environment, allow for a rapid drying of hands (and a germ-free way of opening the door). Overall, this chick-Fila hit the mark. Definitely will be stopping by again if the future permits read more

I have visited this Chick-fil-A location multiple times because I it is always lunchtime when I come through Amarillo on my way from DFW to anywhere in New Mexico. Every time we arrive I look at the traffic outside the restaurant and think "oh no this is going to take forever." Every time I am surprised to find out how quick the service is. The staff here is awesome and the whole process is extremely well managed. They always have all the cash registers running and they keep the table clean as soon as anyone finishes eating so that there is room to sit inside and eat your food. The food is always Chick-fil-A quality, without exception. There is a separate parking lot just to the north of the restaurant that I have learned to use, which is much easier than getting involved int the traffic that is part of the drive-through. I am always impressed with their service and glad to be back on the road after a delicious chicken sandwich and a full lemonade to get me to my next stop. read more

Ok, so it's not very often I would write a 5 star review for fast food, but this Chick-fil-A has really earned it. The customer service is better than most sit down restaurants. And that's consistently my experience here. Smiling, friendly people that act like they actually want you to be there. And when it's busy, they put people in the drive thru lanes to keep everyone moving quickly. Always friendly and efficient. I have been using their app for a while now and earn a lot of free food and drinks just for doing that. This morning I had my whole breakfast free! This company understands the concept of just getting people in the door and offering a quality product and service to get a return customer base. Today I had to go in because the app malfunctioned and they comped my beverage. They just do stuff like that all the time. The food is also good. It's not gourmet but it's better than most fast food. I love the Cobb and Southwest salads, the Spicy Chicken sandwich, and the chicken club. They have awesome fresh lemonade, and in the summer their Peach milkshakes are the best. There isn't much to choose from while driving across country with two little kiddos, so when we found this Chick-fil-A we made it our stopping point for the day. Found a table for four near the playground, and after we all enjoyed our yummy food our little ones took off into the play area and ran their little hearts out. We all used the restrooms and found them to be clean and well stocked. Even the changing table in the women's room was clean and I felt comfortable changing my baby on it. The customer service was wonderful, as usual in a Chick-fil-A, and they even helped me warm up a baby bottle in hot water, filled my thermos with fresh hot water & filled our water bottles for the road. I bookmarked this location on my Google Maps so we could stop here on our trip back home, and I even considered rearranging our trip when we realized our trip home would put us here on a Sunday. read more

This is the easiest accessible location from the east-west interstate that runs through Amarillo. It is to be expected that this location will be one of the more frequented in town. I have stopped here a total of four times, all times using the drive-through First visit was in December 2018 and ordered the sandwich meal. Fries were superb and well-done as requested but chicken filet was not fresh and resulted in a half eaten sandwich, this was during peak hours so I was unsure how I managed to get such a disappointing filet The second was February of this year, ordered only a fry well-done. Was not during peak hours and only one vehicle was ahead of me. The first fries I got were not well-done, I informed the cashier and was asked to pull ahead and wait for the well-done fries to be brought out. After a brief period they were brought out and I drove off. As I merged back onto the interstate I reached for a fry and was very disappointed to see that my large fry was barely filled past half Third and final visit occurred the month of the posting of this review. Both times passing through town and I craved a large waffle fry. The first was at the tail end of peak hours and there were about four vehicles ahead of me. I requested my fries well done and was told they can't. Dejected, I canceled my order and left. Second was just this past week, I pulled in early and was pleased to see no other vehicles in ahead and the dining room was barren. With their patron numbers so I had a renewed hope for a perfect CfA fry. That hope was quickly shattered as I was informed that they no longer will cook items well done. Filled with incalculable disappointment I merged back onto the interstate and continued on my route A sad day when I have to blacklist an eatery but it is truly tragic when that eatery is a CfA location. I will not be returning to this location and hope the operator views this posting. Chic fil a...always good service and this visit didn't disappoint. They have a whole process down to taking orders, accepting payment and getting your order to you. The drive in was handled by individual masked employees and they made the long line of customers look like nothing.
