Cheese pizza, breadsticks, and nacho cheese
Christina B.

It's been at least 15 years since I've had Chicago's Pizza until last night. Chicago's was the pizza of choice at my high school and I even participated in a pizza eating contest fundraiser for French club - I think I slowly enjoyed two pieces of pizza when I realized there was no way I was going to win. The breadsticks are delicious. They are doughy and I always get the nacho cheese dip to go with. The pizza is in my top 5 but it's not my favorite favorite. They don't do delivery, only carryout, but I was able to order delivery through DoorDash. They do also have a drive-thru where you can pick up your order or just some breadsticks for lunch. Definitely a good choice for pizza.

I'm from Chicago. This is terrible. Like crappy frozen pizza . The crust is 100 percent frozen and the cheese looks plastic. Tastes like garbage

I'm in south Indy visiting my sister and we decided to check out Chicago's pizza. I've had it before at work from another location but my sister had never had it. We ordered two large one topping pizzas and two breadsticks for a 31.99 deal. It's a bit more expensive than the big chain places but it seemed like a more local place. They got the food ready pretty quick so it was good when i got there. Service was friendly. We definitely over ordered. They had a buffet at one point so i can't wait for that to come back.

The best lunch spot on the southeast side! The lunch buffet is $11 including a drink. The buffet is amazing and has been a go to of mine for years. It includes pizza, breadsticks, salad, & the dessert pizza. There are probably at least 5 different kinds of pizza out at a time, and the staff is amazing at keeping up with refilling during their rush. Their Buffalo chicken pizza is my personal favorite but all are great! The buffet runs M-F so it's the perfect quick spot on a lunch break.

Most of my visits have been in the evening but I do see they have a lunch buffet that is served between I believe 11am and 2pm.

I ordered my sandwich and got it without incident.....Until....... The cup of soup I ordered they didn't have enough of, so the guy said he needed to get more. I said I would wait with no problem. Seconds later he bought me out soup that I swear he added water to! It was broccoli and cheddar water! There was zero flavor and crackers didn't thicken it up! The sandwich was good. The manager did correct the issue, but overall, not a great first impression.

It's very cool on the inside with vintage and Indiana-themed decor, tin ceilings, and, of course, a potbelly stove. The staff were friendly. But brother and I were very confused about the ordering process. There wasn't a lot of directional signage showing where to start and each step of the process. I watched a few other customers go through and they didn't seem like they had a problem so maybe it was just us. Next time I would probably just order online and pick it up so I could avoid the in-person ordering process altogether. I had the turkey sandwich and it was pretty good. I would say definitely a step up from your typical sub sandwich chain in terms of flavor and toppings options. I tried the chili mac as well. The chili is definitely à la Wendy's but I enjoyed it. The mac and cheese was good as well. I'd probably get either on its own but not together again. I also tried the Potbelly/Zapp's collab chips, the Hot Pepper flavor. They were good but are definitely not for everyone. When I visited, most of their fountain soda options were out of order so I settled on a no sugar added Pineapple Passionfruit juice/soda which was actually pretty good. We'll definitely be back - especially to try out their milkshakes!

I had passed this location on the way and thought I'd check them out since I had never had it. I got the Italian sandwich, brownie, and a side of the pepper relish. Big mistake. This has got to be the most broke tasting sandwich I've maybe ever eaten. It's giving armor meat sandwich for Panera prices. The ham gave Bar S and the salami gave budding. Just gross. I couldn't stand more than three bites and that was because I was starving. I threw almost this whole sandwich away. The brownie was pretty good and kind of reminded me of Chick-fil-A. That pepper relish was really delicious and all of the veggies were super fresh, but limited. You can miss me with that meat though. The bread wasn't that great either. I don't understand why people would come here when Penn Station is right across the street. The customer service was fine and the inside of the restaurant was clean enough. But I will never ever be back.

The last special we had was Mike's Hot Italian, and it was delicious. We added chips and drinks to complete our meals. The staff greeted us with smiles and handled our order quickly. I redeemed a free sub through the app without any trouble. The ordering process stayed quick and simple. I keep going back to Jersey Mike's. The food is tasty, the service is friendly and the dining area is clean. My fave sub shop by far.

Food: We got a beef cheesesteak and an italian and definitely enjoyed the italian more. I think some of the problem is that they have relatively large rolls/bread which throws off the ratios and makes it feel skimpy. They either need to bake a 20% smaller roll or add 20% more protein to really make each bite satisfying. That said, the ingredients they use are actually good. I could actually taste the spiciness in the capicola and the salami had a nice rich flavor, they also topped the italian with a herby vinaigrette which was great. The fries are slightly more on the shoe string thinness which was fun but flavor was pretty standard. Overall this place isn't bad but it has some stiff competition, you get better price-performance from a cheaper chain and probably a better overall gourmet sub from Capriotti's which isn't that far although you'll probably pay 2x the price.

They do make everything fresh to order so be ready to wait for about 10 minutes. It was worth the wait. My chicken Philly cheesesteak was excellent. The cheese on this made it next level.
