The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming when you first walk through the door! Shah's offers a variety of platters, gyros and sandwiches. You can receive any of these selections with lamb, chicken and/or fish. Not sure what you want? Get a combo! There's something for everyone. Even if you don't eat meat of any kind, there are plenty of veggie toppings for you to enjoy. My favorite so far is the chicken and fish combo platter. It comes with two healthy portions of each protein, basmati rice (cooked perfectly), and any topping I'm in the mood for. They have a cucumber, tomato mixed salad (they call it Salata) that I love. If you like spicy, this cools things down and balances out the flavors quite nicely. Another thing I love is that Shah's stays open late. So when everyone else is closed, you still have options for good, whole food, in place of some of the unhealthy chain options available. Check it out, I guarantee you won't be disappointed. The plain naan bread was unusually greasy. After being disappointed by the salad and bread, I do not know why I was surprised when the main dish was lacking as well and tasted nothing like my previous orders. DoorDash still lists the restaurant as Spicy Doner, but Yelp now shows the restaurant name as Punjabi. I can only assume the restaurant is under new management due to the name change and the dramatic decline in quality. Hopefully, I can find an alternative restaurant soon because I will not be ordering from here again.

The crispy salmon was a good sized filet, glazed with a sesame sauce. It was firm and flakey, but could have used more flavor. A mango salsa would have been a good compliment. With my salmon, the baked potato was not fully done, and my asperagus was barely cooked. To top it off, our dinner rolls were hard and cold. We had come here on the suggestion of family who were impressed enough to recommend it, but our experience was dismal. We also tried the fried pepper jack cheese and it was so good! Our server, Jasmine, was excellent and truly made the experience even better. You can tell she genuinely loves working there because her enthusiasm and great attitude really shine through. 10/10 recommend this place. I already can't wait to go back!
