I love that there is such a nice selection of food, whether it's noodles, soup, seafood, sushi, even steak....they have got you! One of my most favorite savory go to dishes is the Silver Noodles , they are soo flavorful & of course you decide what protein to get them with or have them with a combination of proteins. I had the Thai iced tea, which is one of my favorites. Theirs was very good. It was refreshing and had the right amount of coconut milk. My family decided to share a salmon roll, which was tasty. I also ordered the Valentines roll, which was special. The roll was $16 but was packed with fish and other toppings. I also ordered a salmon hand roll, which had a lot of fish in it as well. I got to try my son's teriyaki steak, which was excellent. The steak was very tender and the sauce was not overpowering. My husband enjoyed his pad Thai. This spot is rather small with a clean dining area, a small bar (6 or 7 bar seats) - it is dimly lit, with soft instrumental music playing. The service is consistently on point, attentive but there is no hovering! On entering you are quickly greeted and seated, supplied with a menu, and your beverage choice is requested. On this day, I ordered my favorite appetizer, Tempura Soft Shell Crab to be followed by their Sizzling Rib Eye platter. I was brought a small complimentary cup of a nice Vegetable Soup with a rich broth and a nice veggies, cubed potatoes , and a little tofu. I also was served my beverage choice, a nice Thai beer, Singha. The Tempura Soft Shell Crab dish consists of 2 crabs resting in a nest of nicely done tempura vegetables. The crabs were perfect finger food, just pull them apart and chow down. The vegetables were no less perfect - the onions were especially awesome! The Ribeye had a nice flavor but the entire dish was greasy to a point that was most unpleasant! I would not reorder this dish. There is much on this menu that is exceptional, this dish was just not one of them! I was craving Thai food, so I decided to give this place a try. I was torn between a couple of menu items, so I decided to get a bento box. I placed a to-go order at lunch, so Bento box A was a lunch special. It was a California roll, Pad Thai, a Spring roll, and salad. The California roll was packed separately, but was placed on top of my of my entrée and it was a little warm by the time I got home. I like my sushi cold, so this was a bad start for me. Then they served the salad on the same plate with the entre and spring roll and didn't provide any dressing or ask if I wanted any. I also prefer my salad cold so I didn't eat it. The stuffing inside of the spring roll was mushy. A total turn off when you're depending on the spring roll for a crunch factor! The sweet chili sauce I was served with was very watered down. Finally, the pad Thai. It was average. No additional comments. For $13, I wasn't impressed with my order. I'm not sure if I'd try them again. read more

I've been coming here for a while, it is truly our family's favorite. We walk in and Ari and Coco know us by name. They know our favorite dishes and drink. Well my first sushi experience in North Carolina left a lot to be desired. This place was recommended by a non Yelp friend who said she hadn't been here in a while but it was good when she came My wife got the Pad Thai and liked it. However the sushi was just okay. The best roll I got I think was called a Mt. Fuji roll, but even though it looked great the overall flavors of it were just okay. I think I've found my sushi place. I haven't had a salmon skin hand roll since moving to the South, although I have wondered why I haven't seen hand rolls ANYwhere in the area until now. They're simple enough to make, but I have missed them and have asked in not a few places about getting them. Chang Mai is the first place I've seen them on the menu in the Triad. Also, while I love a spider roll and would have ordered it gladly, I spotted soft shell crab as an appetizer for a dollar less and was gleefully delighted to receive a pair of soft shell crabs on a generous bed of tempura veggies. They were pretty small (it is nearly October, about as far away from soft shell season as it gets), so I wouldn't be surprised if in season you get one normal sized one instead. Gotta come back with hubs sometime soon; they have a wide menu of noodle and rice and udon noodle entrees which will please him; he doesn't do sushi so it's great to find a place that does platters as well. read more

BEWARE! They are using fake seafood. I ordered shrimp and scallops udon and the scallops were fake. They charged me 18 dollars for this meal but it was fake. Thankfully they gave me my money back but I want to warn others. Our family got the sushi deluxe too. The sushi tasted very bland. Their meat is poor quality and the sushi rice wasn't real either. It fell apart and there was too much for each nigiri. After getting a fake scallop and getting terrible quality sushi, I won't be back. Our first time here was an impromptu day date for lunch & I wanted to pick a halfway point for my husband and I to meet. I knew it was there, but had never stopped in. The service was good & quick. The restaurant has taken a dive, and not in a good way. The tables and chairs are sticky. The once flavorful food is just run of the mill now and forget about even ordering dessert. The mango sticky rice could not even be eaten it was so bad. The owner/manager is the same person so I don't really know what has happened to take this kind of turn with the food. We first came here to pick up an order a few weeks ago. I had the vegetable pad Thai. It was absolutely delicious. We decided to eat here this past Sunday since it's so close to home. We walked in and there weren't many people in the restaurant (we are about 1pm). It's VERY similar to the Thai restaurant in tanglewood. (May be owned by the same people still I'm not sure?) The server brought us a bowl of what appeared to be some form of chicken, rice and egg soup. Whatever it was it was so good. I ordered sushi I had the 911 roll (pictured below) and a tuna roll. Both were very fresh and had wonderful flavor. The 911 roll was spicy but that's great I love a good jolt of spice. My boyfriend had the lunch chicken hibachi and also a 911 roll. He was also pleasantly surprised with the flavor. I also ordered a pad Thai to take for lunch the next day. We will be going back here. Everything had wonderful flavor and the service was great!
