Boneless Wings
Angela T.

Wings have always been crispy for me. I have always ordered bone in wings and they were made fresh. Service was good. They give you pickled vegetables if you are dining in, but this is not an option if you are ordering to go. I ordered a 20 piece wing for 26.95, 10 piece wing for 13.95, and small boneless nuggets for 12.95. There is an additional 0.50 charge for flavors. Highly recommend this place!

I don't know if they changed the ownership yet or not but the food is the same as No 1 Plus Chicken. The menu has been modified a little bit - prices lower, smaller size dishes (5 wings for $8, 10 wings for $14, 3 pieces fried chicken for $10 etc.) which is very nice if you just want a bit for yourself or small group but many different tastes.

8 piece chicken. - half habanero and half lemon pepper )dry rub) both excellent choices.

What a delight to come back here. I predict that soon, there will be a line to get in here. All the food is fresh and "culturally enhancing." The atmosphere is lovely - yes sports on most of the TVs but there is a K-pop screen as well. But come for the food- it is worth it. I'll be back

This is my second time trying this KFC place, and I think they have pretty solid chicken, but not the best korean fried chicken I've ever had. We ordered the combo onion chicken dish, which by default comes with chicken nuggets. I thought that the flavors of this dish were very nice and refreshing (if you like onion), but the chicken itself was not super impressive. We also got a half of the honey soy chicken, and curly fries, which were both pretty good! Service was fine, and there was also plenty of seating available inside.

Half and half - Yangyum & Honey Garlic

A solid chicken place! Really didn't have any complaints. I ordered this via Uber eats, and the taste is great. I'll have to go and check the restaurant out in person. My man ordered us the CRACK CHICKEN (YUM) - these were so different. I've never had chicken that tasted like these, but we were into it I wish I could explain the taste, but all I can say is weird and good! He also ordered the YANG YUM & HONEY GARLIC wings - both very tasty. My favorite of the two was the honey garlic! I really enjoyed the crisp! He also ordered the FRIED ORIGINAL - which we both really liked. I definitely want to order again to try the ramen and the Cajun wings.

I came here for a birthday dinner and was pleasantly surprised because I wasn't sure what to expect. It's in a strip center with plenty of parking. There is togo ordering and a larger dining room. I really enjoyed the chicken. It was fried perfectly and the flavors were fantastic. I would advise that the pieces are huge. You don't need as much as you may think. This is definitely a place where you can share a few dishes with 4 people. The mushrooms were amaaaaazing. I was however, not impressed with the kimchi fries (while the toppings were good, the fries were fried wayyyy too hard) or the ramen (pretty tasteless). The service was just okay, I was part of a larger group and it was obvious the servers struggled to keep up with basic needs (water, napkins, condiments utensils, etc.) I would come back, likely just to go.

Green Onion Chicken

Came when they first opened. Wanted to come try it out after I saw a friend post photos. Green onion chicken - it's basic chicken nuggets. Not much crunch/not cooked Korean fried chicken style. the green onion topping is delicious. It has a mustard based dressing. Overall the dish is good. Half and Half - we ordered it boneless chicken. Was not impressed. Did not like the yangyum flavor at all. It had ketchup flavor base. Was expecting the chicken to be more crispy. Ordered the honey garlic combo. The combo comes with 4 pieces of chicken This chicken was very crispy. This crispness is what I was expecting from all of the chicken. Was not expecting the chicken thighs to be chopped in half and is considered 2 pieces. Honey garlic was slightly sweeter for my liking. The bulgogi was good. The restaurant itself is pretty basic. They give you paper plates to eat on. The art work on the wall is super cute though. The staff were friendly and prices are on par with other KFC places.

Menu

I've been here several times and everything is always good. Chicken skin is crunchy and meat is juicy. Note their fried chicken always has a spice, lowest is mild. This Asian style fried chicken has a good variety of side, not the usual western side dishes. We always order the green onion popcorn chicken, variety of wings and baked chicken (takes a while to bake so order 1st).

Ordered 20 pieces wing. You get 5 flavors. We got xxspicy (+$2), soy garlic, honey garlic and mango habanero. Loved all the flavors, at first it wasn't spicy after a while it kicked it. I also love the coleslaw it comes with it. It was pretty quiet wasn't too busy. We went there around dinner time. There was dinner specials in believe it was Monday-Thursday, I might be wrong don't remember but I'm sure it was Thursday since that's when I went. Lovely place.

I'm so happy they built a Cho Dang in Plano!…read more This place is one of my favorite go-tos for Korean tofu soup & short ribs (galbi). I love ordering the combos so I get a little bit of everything that I want. The portions are decent if you're hungry & want to finish everything OR if you're not too hungry, eat half, and take the other half to-go for lunch the next day. The service is aligned with what you'd expect from a Korean place. Some of the older ladies working there are so sweet and helpful, especially if you tell them it's your first time, and some of them seem more intimidating and aggressive. Typically there isn't a wait for tables. Only times I've waited for a table are peak weekend dinner hours. The most I waited was maybe 15 minutes, as their service is quite fast for a sit down restaurant. This location has seats where you can store your personal belongings in them!

They have a variety of tofu soup options, along with other traditional Korean dishes. My table of four ordered a seafood pancake, various tofu soups, and kalbi. The seafood pancake was disappointing-- there was very little seafood and the center was mushy, not crispy. I got the intestine tofu soup in medium spicy, which had large chunks of intestine and generous helpings of tofu. The soup portions are so large, I didn't even finish my rice. As for the side dishes/banchan, nothing really stood out. As for the service, we were seated and helped really quickly, but pretty much left alone for the remainder of the meal. The prices here are decent, especially if you share a combo meat and soup with a friend.

Server was very polite but it was obvious they were understaffed by a lot. 1 server and whole restaurant was full. Regardless, server did a great job keeping up. Food: Side dishes: the kimchi, cucumber kimchi, spicy fish cake were great. The salad was okay. The japchae noodles were mediocre. And the pickled daikon didn't taste like they used much vinegar. Dipping sauces were all great. Sesame oil, samjang blend, a sweet and spicy sauce. Meat: enjoyed the brisket, beef belly, pork belly, beef finger meat, Hawaiian pork belly. The Galbi marinade would have been better with the finger meat marinade. Overall had a great meal and would come again. Hopefully will be better staffed next time!

When you walk in, you're greeted, and the atmosphere is great. It's a small, cozy spot, which I really like. They do get pretty busy on weekends, especially during dinner time, so it's a good idea to call and double-check. They also accept reservations. The food was excellent; everything came out perfectly and tasted delicious. My favorite was the bulgogi--it was nice and tender. I highly recommend this location if you're craving some good Korean BBQ.

There's nothing better on a chilly, rainy afternoon than a warm, nourishing bowl of soup. In this…read morecase, it was soondubu at Cho Dang Village. Before the main event, we got the seafood & green onion pancake. Crispy on the outside and reasonably chewy interior. Good amount of seafood; in particular, the oyster stood out. It was also a nice portion that was ideal for sharing. I opted for the seafood soondubu. Everything, from the banchan to the specific side dishes served with the soondubu, came out not too long after ordering. I got it at spice level three which I thought offered the right amount of kick without being too overwhelming (I also like to think I have a pretty strong spice tolerance). It had a good variety of seafood; namely, the shrimp and oyster. I'm not the biggest fan of clams but they were definitely still tasty. The tofu was soft and silky. The yellow croaker and rice were great supplements to the dish. The rice perfectly absorbed the broth. The croaker added a nice crunchy break from everything. The banchan was pretty standard in my opinion - still, a great complement to the soondubu. Last but not least - service was attentive and quick. I will definitely be coming back at some point!

The restaurant had plenty of space, but service was still super fast and efficient anyway, which I loved. What I love about Chodang is that the food is stellar and such good PORTIONS. Knowing this, I still opted to order a Combo Special because the thought of having leftovers for the next day sounded great to me. I ordered the Kimchi Tofu Soup with Beef Bulgogi, and it was delicious. I usually order my soups at the Spicy level, which I would say has a kick and flavor but never leaves me panting for air or water. As someone who likes spice, I wouldn't say it's very spicy, but definitely flavorful. Beef Bulgogi is one of my favorite dishes, and this place's version does not disappoint. The meat is tender and has a good balance of sweet and salty. My friends also ordered Combo Specials with a Tofu soup and the Korean bbq ribs, and Spicy Pork Bulgogi. One of these friends opted for the medium spice level, which I would say is a safe choice for everyone, especially if you're worried about something being too spicy. All soups come with Korean side dishes, a whole grilled yellow croaker fish (delicious but lots of bones), and a hot stone bowl of rice. Nothing missed!

DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS PLACE!!…read more My husband and I found this place by chance and thought we'd give it a shot. I'm so glad we did! We ordered the Spicy Rice Cakes (Tteok-bokki) which was soo good! If you like mochi you will like this! It's slightly firmer in texture but it's deliciously bouncy and the sauce is mildly spicy and full of flavor. We also ordered the Stir-fried Glass Noodles and Vegetables w/Beef (Japchae) these are savory noodles with no spice with various sautéed veggies. They claim both of these are appetizers but they are huge portions! We also ordered the Grilled Pork Belly. They said this is their specialty and OH BOY IS IT!! They bring a grill/hot plate thing to your table and cook the pork belly right there next to you! They also bring out all sorts of sides such as kimchi, fresh lettuce, picked cucumber, cooked mushrooms, fish cakes, garlic, bean sprouts, lettuce with what I believe was gochujang sauce on top, flakey sea salt and possibly more if I'm remembering incorrectly. They even give you suggestions on how to eat it and it was the MOST DELICIOUS DISH! I am not a fan of fatty meat (and I ordered pork belly, I know!) but they crisp it up so nicely in the pan that I did not notice the fat. The plain meat by itself with a little sea salt on top was Divine but when you add it with some sautéd onion, garlic, bean sprouts, and kimchi on fresh lettuce..... there are no words for how delicious that is! And that is just the food! The customer service was phenomenal and the atmosphere was chill and cozy. Moral of my story is, EAT HERE! Give this place a try and I'm sure they won't disappoint you. 20/10 would recommend! I will be back because this place is GOLD!
