While waiting for our food, I noticed someone who appeared to be off-shift (or at least not in uniform) preparing a plate for herself in the kitchen area. She wasn't wearing a hairnet, and from a customer's perspective it looked unusual and raised some questions about food handling standards. The situation became even more awkward when my partner and I sat at an available table, and the same person later told us she had been sitting there because she left her drink on it. What made it confusing was that she had been in the kitchen making herself food, so it didn't really seem like the table was actively occupied. We moved, but the interaction felt a bit unprofessional. The food itself was still good, which is why I'm not leaving a lower rating. I just hope management pays a little more attention to the customer experience and how staff interactions are perceived from the dining room. I'll likely return because I enjoy the food, but today's visit left me a bit disappointed with the service side of things.
