The chicken strips are very crispy, the meat is just a little dry but the flavor is great with even the mild level heat having nice heat. We also got the catfish which has a perfect crust and perfectly cooked inside. The baskets come with sauce and you get two per order. Probably more than you'll need. You get great food for an affordable price. Good Southern service. Just all around one of our faves.

When the weather is uncooperative and the outside closed off, I find HFC to be a bit dark, with the motif maybe a bit dated. There's a full bar, with a very good beer selection. The service is always good, a characteristic of all the Monen restaurants. As to the food, there's a broad enough selection to satisfy anyone in your family. While the Philly brisket sandwich I had was just okay and I'm still trying to figure out the buffalo cucumber salad, the nachos and chicken wings were really good.

My wife had the tenders and sidewinder fries. Both were really good. I tried both as well. Breeding on the tenders was crunchy but not overly cooked. Sidewinder fries are a definite must try. They are like steak fries but curly. Just the right blend of potato and crunch. Also tried some local brewery beer. It was called Odd story golden ale. Fresh with no bitter bite to it.
