Disappointed that they don't offer live music and happy hour anymore. Still a great spot for fresh seafood in Eastham, but will look for other options in the area that have live music and happy hour options. Happy Summer

There are multiple different seating options, everything from an outdoor patio to high top bar seats, tables, and the indoor booth seating which is what we selected. The dining room is comfortable, and with open windows it provided a nice breath of fresh air. We started with the seafood sampler, a wonderful combination of fresh and delicious shellfish (clams, oysters, shrimp and a lobster tail). We then split appetizers instead of entrees, having the tuna tartare and the Chatham mussels, both of which were excellent. There was some minor room for improvement - after we were done with our seafood sampler, we sat for about 10 minutes while our server Danielle seemed to be in an enthusiastic conversation with Caroline out in front of the restaurant. It provided for some interesting dinner theater, but with so many other employees standing around, it probably would have been an ideal opportunity for somebody else to chip in and take over. Also, the mussels came in a wonderful wine / garlic sauce - some bread would have been a thoughtful addition to soak up that wonderful broth. Fortunately the quality of the food and the vibe of the restaurant more than compensated for a couple of service issues - we visited in late May, so hopefully by the time this restaurant hits the busy season, they'll have the issues worked out. Overall, I would certainly not hold back from referring this restaurant.

First visit to Mean Burgers and it was all positive!…read more The traffic was nonsense but other than that... My son & I went at an off hour on a cloudy Wednesday. There were a few other tables and by the time we left it was picking up with an early dinner crowd. We had a lovely server named Jodi who was attentive & helpful. The windows were open so I am not sure if they have air conditioning but we were not too warm. The food was delicious! We got the Jerk burger, cooked perfectly, large portion! I might get the aoli on the side in the future it was just a tiny bit too much for me but really good! We had a side of plantains which were perfect & made the mistake of upgrading to salads on both. We should have done one with fries & one with side salad. Definitely worth checking out!

There's plenty of bike parking by the beer yard. It was a nice day so we wanted to sit outside and have a few beers in the Hog Island beer garden. Service was great. They were getting prepared for the busy season training some folks, and everyone was very friendly and hospitable. The beer garden itself was a huge grassy area with plenty of seating, a mix of picnic tables and regular tables with chairs. Despite it being right by the woods it didn't seem too buggy which was really nice. After hanging out a bit we decided to get dinner there. We were able to order food right at the beer garden and pick it up at the take out window. The food was awesome! We got a bowl of clam chowder, loaded tater tots, and the Rt 6 bacon cheeseburger with a side of greens. First, they're not messing around when they say 'loaded' tots! Some places put a sad little drizzle of cheese sauce on top, but theirs were thoroughly covered with a delicious beer cheese sauce, fresh bacon, and scallions. The clam chowder was great! Not too thick, lots of clams and clam flavor. And the burger was amazing! A nice, thick, juicy patty that was perfectly cooked, a really fresh brioche style bun with lots of flavorful toppings. We walked through the restaurant itself to use the bathroom and it seemed like they had a lot of seating, a nice bar, and a patio area. The only bathrooms being inside the restaurant was a little annoying, but I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt that they'll have some port-o-potties by the beer yard come the full fledged busy season. Overall a really nice time and we look forward to returning!

The service has always been a focus and Anastasia (one of the owners) clearly dedicates herself to training her staff to the high standards that she models every night. Myself and my extended family have been repeat customers ever since Ryan and Anastasia opened Casa del Cabo and we have never had a bad night. Tonight was no exception with respect to the food, service and the entertainment (shout out to Derek!!) but sadly there was a couple who could not seem to grasp that when nature (over which NO human has control) literally rains on their parade and had a major toddler size tantrum directed at Anastasia in full view and earshot of the other diners in the outside dining area. Unnecessary, unpleasant and unfortunate. They had the temerity to take her picture and still she maintained her composure and professionalism. I was so sad that they felt the need to act out and embarrass themselves like that.

Service was excellent - the host accommodated our last-minute request for outdoor seating and our waiter was super friendly and knowledgeable. My fiancé and I ordered the Wellfleet oysters with mignonette and the house focaccia (both a must try!) to start, and the scallops and daily catch (yellowfin tuna) as our mains. Patio was lively, with fun music and cute lighting, without being overcrowded or too loud. Overall we had a perfect night and will definitely be back!

For those considering The Wicked Oyster for dinner, I highly caution you to consider otherwise…read more My husband and I (age 40) visited The Wicked Oyster Provisions shop the day before our dining experience and had a wonderful time. The woman working in the shop was hosting a wine tasting, and we left with some delicious provisions as a result. Because of our great experience, we booked a dinner reservation for the restaurant the next evening. Upon arriving for our reservation, we were promptly seated at a 4-top table in the front room. It was a cloudy day, but even so the room was quite dark. One guest dining was using a phone flashlight in an attempt to read the menu at 6pm. A tea light candle would have done worlds for not only the lighting, but the overall ambiance. While the interior paint color was lovely, the 90's hotel art and Home Depot lighting left a lot to be desired. We ordered the fingerling potatoes, Wellfleet oysters, scallops, and lobster cavatelli. The fingerling potatoes (our snack) came out at the same time as our appetizer (the oysters). We were disappointed that the potatoes were quite dry and overcooked atop what tasted equivalent to a jarred romesco sauce. We quickly ran out of sauce in an attempt to resuscitate the potatoes. The oysters were fine, but not notably different than the Wellfleet oysters we purchase from Whole Foods at home, in Colorado. My husband ordered the scallops, which were served in a seasonal corn sauce with zucchini and peaches. The scallop portion was generous, but the sauce left a lot to be desired. He described it as more of an unseasoned creamed corn than a sauce and there wasn't a pine nut (as advertised) in sight. My pasta was equally disappointing. At this price point, I expected a fresh rolled pasta, which was not the case. The pasta was quite flavorless and the "sauce" was runny and unseasoned. It was also served with a fork, which was quite comical for both my husband and the two tables around us with his watery the sauce was. I might also note that I received a quarter-sized chunk of parm on top, rather than a grated garnish. Thinking it was a chunk of lobster, I bit into it and was quite surprised. The service was attentive, but felt a lot more casual than we expected. We were surprised to see what many of the service staff were dressed in athleisure attire. At this price point, I would expect otherwise. We were glad that our water glasses stayed full, but wish that had been with the sparkling water we ordered, rather than the still water poured. Our sparkling water bottle remained largely full as a result. Overall, we are unable to recommend this restaurant. This is only our third year traveling to the Cape, but would far recommend restaurants like The Pheasant, Baliene, or Chatham Fish Pier over this experience. We left thankful that this wasn't our last night in town and had one more chance to enjoy a nice dinner on the Cape.
