Greetings fellow yelpers and folks looking for great auto service! Wheew!! I am so glad I went to Salmons' Service centers to get my car repaired! It was fate. It is a gas/service station, I just went in for gasoline and a service attendant asked me if there was anything he could help me with. So i figured , what the hell, go ahead and check my oil. He did that and more-I didn't realize I was in the Full serve lane, go figure I didn't even think that still existed-so I just let him do his thing. He noticed some wettness-green in color- at the fromt of my engine, he thought maybe my waterpump was leaking. So he went into the shop and came out with one of the mechanics(Marty)to look at my car, he confirmed my waterpump was leaking. He had too many other repairs going on so he had me work with Tom and gave me an estimate, about 400.00 dollars. I thought that sounded High. So I said i'll think about it, afterall I live in Edmonds and it's prety far from my house. So I called around and some were lower( Not by Much) and most were about the same. So I scheduled the repair next day with Tom and had it back that evening- He was so great,He pointed out some other things that need attention but i didn't get the Hard sell, Like my brakes need service in 5 to 8,000 miles, and some minor oil leaks, just keep an eye on them. Everyone there was so nice and helpful, like they realy cared about my problem. I didn't even know i had a problem. I would never have thought to bring my car to a gas station service center, but these guys are the @#$%*&. I have my own Mechanic now. all of them are ASE Master certified,( I guess that's important in the industry) and so nice too. even open 7 days. I Don't ever have to worry about where to take my car now. Worth the drive too. check these guys out you won't regret it. Regards, Cliff S. read more
