These bathrooms are super clean and smell awesome. It has a newer hepa filter hand dryer. Each bathroom is pretty spacious. I come in here multiple times a day passing by during work. I always grab a drink or two and they are constantly keeping the area clean. Once I thought about it. This place is actually the cleanest gas station I can think of in the area. They've got what I need. Plenty of Gas stations in the Walnut Creek area but ones with a carwash are few and far between. This place has a decent store, a carwash and vacuums. I was impressed to see how nice the restrooms were compared to a few years ago -- new ownership is in charge. Thus, bathrooms were updated and had a fresh scent. This review is for the car wash. The gas is too expensive. I have been enjoying this car wash for years. There are times when it goes down & occasions when it doesn't do the best job. I have always gotten the basic wash because I paid for special coating for my RAV 4. Last week it went down & my dusty car got mud streaked going through after it stopped working on the car before me. I saw a woman standing there, was not sure if she was the owner of the care stuck in the wash. It did not move for a long time. I could not back out because cars behind me. I later learned it was Amelia, an employee. I think she should have directed the cars to back out instead of my having to go through the barely drippy wash. Amelia turned it around for me when she voluntarily handed me a receipt for the $16 when I had paid $10 for the basic. It was not fixed for a few days but today I had my bonus wash & am a happy camper. read more

So, I have never reviewed gas station before :-) but I have to give a shout out to this one. I lived next door to for years, so I always went there. It was okay. The car wash was good. But often they would put a large hold on debit card payments for the gas. Anyway, I went there recently and oh my God! apparently under New Management, this place is amazing! No, seriously... It is. The car wash is better than it's ever been and it was pretty good before. The inside store has more options and they're fresher. And the bathroom...! It looks one in a fancy restaurant! This Chevron is located down the road from the Mobil station, but it is at least three times bigger. The convenience store is also quite large and they stock most anything that you may need for a pick me up. I have stopped by here on occasion for gas and each time it's been empty, which makes it very easy to pull up to a pump. Since it's near the freeway on ramp/off ramp, the price per gallon is more than at the Mobil station a bit further or at another Chevron location a few miles away. Once, when I was stranded in my rental car and my phone battery had run out, the gas station attendant let me use his cell phone to call for assistance! This station is a bit noisy, probably due to the freeway traffic. It can also be drafty since it's an expansive open area. read more

Didn't catch a name but two older gentleman running the counter rang me up and we had a good conversation. Came for the carwash off recommendations, coming back for the service and wash. I paid for car wash, wax and dry at the pump. I went through the car wash, but dryer was not working and left the wash area with a completely wet car and water marks. I went inside and complained to cashier and he said here's a towel go dry it yourself. I said you are advertising carwash and dry and it is what I paid for and he says no this is a carwash not responsible for drying teh car. This gas station is terrible, dirty and a rippoff. read more

Award winner for the worst car wash in the East Bay. Unless you have a car that has literally come off the assembly line and still has the first coat of paint and wax its ever had it will not get clean. I took my black truck down here one day and when I got out of my truck after the wash.....It was not clean at all! I ran my finger across the surface and dust, yes dust was still on my car. My truck wasn't coated in mud. It had a slight layer of dust and the car wash couldn't even get it off. When I went in to complain, the girl behind the counter just stared at me. I asked her if there was even soap in the machine. She just stared at me. This location is the reason why I will never use a touchless car wash again. Not to mention that I get begged for money at this spot. Once by the same guy twice on the same trip. I had to say "Dude, you already asked me for money 5 minutes ago. I'm still not giving anything to you." He claimed to have gotten robbed. This is only a review for the carwash. This chevron features the laserwash brushless carwash. The advantage being there arent any brushes that can scratch your car's finish. However the major disadvantage is its limited ability to remove dirt from your car. Dont waste you money on the Ultimate wash. It wasnt able to remove a lot of the dirt on my car's finish. I can see this place being good for an in between dusting, but nothing more than that. So stick with the $7 regular wash. See photo I've posted. read more

$7 to have my car hosed down in their so-called car wash. Granted, it was filthy and covered with bird poop. But this wash didn't even get all of the regular dirt off. It makes me wonder if I went to the right location (it is next to the Best Buy) as the other reviewers. First, you have to go inside to pay for the car wash because people have been stealing money from the machine. Next, you have to drive into the wash and align your front left tire with a scary looking platform of pipes that is exactly the width of a tire. I'm not the best at parking and it took me a few tries to get it working right. My alignment, rims, and tires were probably taking a beating there. The panel on the left will tell you to stop, then your car gets hosed down in soapy water for about 1 minute. Next, your car gets hosed down with plain water twice. That's it. No beater brushes, no mops, nothin to make sure the crusty dirt gets removed. Then, you drive slowly through the blow dryer. My car was still wet even after driving through there. I pulled into the Best Buy parking lot afterward to inspect. Fortunately, I had some towels in my trunk. The top of my car still had grimy water sitting on it. Many bird poop spots and baked on tree sap remained. Now, I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 because I didn't actually expect those things to be removed. Also, the guys working at this Chevron were courteous. Thank goodness I didn't go for the "sealant wax" as they recommended otherwise the poop, tree sap, and grime would have been sealed in!! I went home and scrubbed the remaining bits off my car. Bottom line: you get what you pay for. If your car is filthy, don't expect this car wash to work even halfway decently. read more

Their gas prices are moderate and expected but... OMG! this new laserwash-whatever-thing is SUPER EXPENSIVE! (Picture attached) WTF?! 11bucks?! & I didn't even get that tricolor sudsing w/chemical smell that leaks through your vents if you forget to turn the AC off! FYI: Pressing number 3 is actually the ULTIMATE Wash which is ultimately super expensive & NOT the cheaper of the 3-Serves me right for not looking and assuming...but, at least ya'll get a good laugh if you've read this far... =/ The associates are friendly whenever I've stopped into the minimart for chocolate milk & scratchers...(Yup, I said it...I shop like a crackhead...I bet you can picture it too huh? Me...scratching my 3$ scratcher & getting all bummed out when the most I ever win is another scratcher ticket & then realizing I don't have to be so bummed out because I get to drink my chocolate milk.=P The station and minimart are very well lit & always clean. Also later in the day, the window washing station literally looks like someone took a dump in it! When's the last time they changed the damn water and soap? I wouldn't normally bother rating a gas station but this Chevron has the nicest/cleanest gas station bathroom I've ever seen. You always dread having to use a gas station bathroom, but I was pleasantly surprised when I went into this one. Not only clean/nice for a gas station, but actually clean and nice. Daniel (employee) was hard at work continuing to upgrade and even added hooks for purses or jackets after hearing customers' suggestions. Today I went to this chevron to make a payment to a power company using the Kiosk in the Chevron store. I was on the phone with the company and the person was directing me how to make the payment. Daniel overhead the conversation and asked whether I was paying a power company. He informed me it was likely a scam and that many other people had been scammed. The kiosk was a Bitcoin kiosk and power companies don't accept payment on Bitcoin. His intervention saved me $624! I really appreciated his help. Great job. read more

This is the Chevron closest to Best Buy and the NB 680 Freeway entrance isn't far from here. It's across from the "new" location of Back 40 Texas BBQ. I love the car wash at this location. It does a good job and you can get a discount on your wash after you fill up. The food mart is pretty big. Most Chevrons have a good food mart. I feel like a lot of Shell stations just have the small employee-only style stands. This Chevron is clean and well-stocked. i don't find the employees especially friendly. To be honest, several times I've gone in I can remember them saying nothing to me at all - even at the register! The Chevron on Treat + Oak Grove has the best employees. This one has the quietest. I was blown away by the wonderful, kind and friendly service here when I stopped yesterday, 5/19/2021. The card reader at the pump wasn't working, so I had to go inside, and I am glad I did! We are all so anti-human interaction these days it seems, (Covid kind of made us even more this way I feel!) with so many purchases being automated. The cashier went above and beyond to help me, was very happy and joyous and put me in a great mood to start my busy work day. I also added the car wash, which did a great job.
