I tried to give this place my business because it's convenient, but every single visit has been a test of patience for epic nonsense. Visit #1: There was no attendant anywhere, which I understand -- you can't staff a place 24 hours a day. But right where you drive in there was a piece of plywood with a nail sticking straight up. Anyone could have punctured a tire. Maybe that's not technically the car wash's fault, but someone in this neighborhood thought it was fine to leave it sitting right there in the entrance. Visit #2: I was vacuuming my car and had just set my glasses, pen, and notepad down on the concrete by the vacuum stand for a moment while I worked. Within seconds the attendant came up behind me and grabbed them to throw them into the garbage, which was honestly kind of shocking. I had to stop him and explain they were mine. His response was basically that I "shouldn't put things there." But I had literally just set them down next to my open car door while vacuuming -- they were clearly personal belongings, not garbage. Visit #3 (today): While I was vacuuming my freshly cleaned car, the attendant's pug jumped straight into my car with muddy paws and ran across my seats and center console. I do want to say the attendant himself was friendly and said good morning to me that day, and he seemed like a genuinely kind person. I'm not trying to get anyone in trouble -- in fact he seems like someone who could be a real asset to the business. But it might be worth management simply reminding staff that dogs should not be running loose in a parking lot with moving cars or jumping into customers' vehicles. That was the final straw. I don't expect perfection, but basic awareness and common sense go a long way. A small dog shouldn't be running loose in a parking lot with moving cars, and it definitely shouldn't be jumping into customers' vehicles. Three visits, three completely avoidable problems. Unfortunately, that's enough for me. I'm sure this review won't do anything to your business, but for what it's worth there are also some basic things missing here. For example, there are no clips in the wash bays to hang floor mats, which is pretty standard at most self-serve car washes. It's actually one of the reasons I don't wash my car here and only use the vacuums, because trying to wash mats without them is frustrating. It's just another small thing that adds to the overall picture where there always seems to be some new problem or omission you'd think would be standardized by common sense -- but this is California. read more

Very negative experiences in 2025. This used to be my go-to car wash--convenient location, long cycles, and easy access. Unfortunately, the experience has gone downhill fast. Over my last four visits, I've entered money, the wash starts, then shuts down well before the time is up. To add insult to injury, they also raised prices so I lost an additional dollar each time. I've reported the issue every time and only received a refund once. No resolution, no improvement, no accountability. Really disappointed in the declining quality of both the equipment and customer service. I won't be returning unless they make serious repairs and take customer feedback seriously. read more

One of the better self service car washes for the price and options in the area. $6 for 20 minutes of washing on weekdays is a good deal. The place in Concord is $1 a minute. They have about 5 stalls for washing and it can get busy if you have to wait 20 minutes for the car ahead of you. But I like that they have a big countdown timer easily viewable. Plenty of options for rinsing to wax to tire cleaner. I didn't try many of these but will eventually.. All in all, if you don't mind washing your own car. This is a good spot, just a bit of a drive. read more

I had a great experience at this car wash, mostly because the gentleman working with the long hair went out of his way to assist me when I was having mobility issues and could hardly wash my own car. I don't know if this place is the "spot" for disabled people like me but he was also helping another guy who was mobility challanged as well, and a veteran according to his hat. Having been spoiled by previous dealers allowing me free car washes and now moving to a new city and living in a condo with underground parking and no hose bib in sight I was forced to find a car wash solution. Checking Yelp reviews it seemed hopeless to find a decent facility and reasonable price for a simple car wash. So, after checking self car washes I took a chance and drove to Martinez after reading decent reviews for this 7 Flags location. Drove in and took out the Visa and swiped the card. $6 total and was in and out including drying time quicker then any auto drive thru. Jumped back on the 680 with a super clean car saving myself a bunch of dollars. So happy to now have my car wash problem solved. read more

However, please don't take your lovely time and waste the water... we are in CA after all. The car wash itself is good value. The problem is the lack of care we were afforded after waiting in line for a long time with very elderly passengers on a hot day. It was our turn just as the machine next to ours broke down. Without even a conversation with us about it, the operator announced the car that was impacted by the breakdown would be moving in front of us. I've been pretty fearful of going to one of these self-serve car washes because most of them leave hard water stains on the car. I went to one of those drive thru washes months ago and it ripped off the rubber seals on the roof of my car. Cost me some mula and time to repair. As a result, my car hasn't been washed in ages and is filthy. Now, I don't own a luxury vehicle so proper hand washing with ceramic coatings and the works is not an option right now soooooo.....I had to suck it up and finally wash the poor thing. Payment: -Only Tokens accepted for wash...get em at the machine located in the center between all the bays. BRING EXACT CHANGE or you'll get stuck with a bunch of tokens. -Only Quarters accepted for vacuum. Wash: $3 for 4 minutes or $6 for 20 minutes. Select wash, soap, rinse, wax (hmmmm), tire cleaner, etc. from the knob, grab the appropriate sprayer and go to town. Vacuum: $1 for 3 minutes. I think $2-$3 is enough for anything up to SUV size. But you better hustle. The timer will beep when you have less than 1 minute remaining. There are 2 vacuums up front yoy can use before washing. There are another 5 on the other side of the bays to use after washing. There is a large count down timer in each car wash bay and a small one on each vacuum. If all bays are taken up, take a peak at the timer on the right interior wall to determine which bay to wait in line for. I wish there was one line of cars but c'est la vie. They also provide a large brush. I would use a bit of the rinse cycle to wash it off first. You never know what the previous person brushed off their car. You can essentially wash and vacuum a mid-size car for $8 (That's with the 20 minute wash and the 6 minute vacuum.) Note: BRING YOUR OWN METHOD OF DRYING. They do not provide an air dryer or any supplies to dry with. Move out of the bay and dry it elsewhere. read more

So... yesterday was my 1st time here. I read all the little signs before gettin' started. I was in the 2nd stall from the left. It would've been nice to have a sign saying most of the wash options come from the "rinse" wand. I was turnin' the knob to different options and I wasn't sure which wand it was coming from. There's a wash option that didn't work, but at least the "foam wash" option did and it gives u lots of soap! Seems like a pretty clean place overall. read more

Only the second self serve car wash I've used. I like this one. You actually can use a credit card for the wash. New price, $6 for 20 min. Need coins for vacuums and car scents, and they have easy change machines there, but it only gives car wash Tokens if you need change, so bring small bills if you don't have quarters for the vacuums. The water hose stayed on the entire time even when I turned the dial to the "off" position, so I rated 4 stars instead of 5...because of unnecessary water waste. Maybe it was broken...? I was never a fan of washing my own car - always went through a car wash but since this is in the area , I kinda had no other choice. The place is awesome and by far the only place that I go to wash my car the way I want to. There are vacuums in the front and in the back. In the middle are the car washing areas. You get 3 minutes of assume vacuum work for $1.00! And for $5.00 20 minutes of washing your car with choices like, rinse, soap spray, soap brush, light rinse, wax, engine and tire cleaner and a color coat protector (which is my favorite). This place doesn't get to packed during the week days (mornings or late evenings) or on raining/cold days but on weekends it gets pretty busy or on hott days as well. But everyone is pretty good about not taking forever washing their car. There is always a guy there walking around to make sure people aren't taking forever, clearing out the trash, making sure everything works right and plays decent music on the radio. When and if something is broken they are pretty good about fixing it. They also have towels, air fresheners, rags, and window cleaners that you can buy for your car. This place is open 24/7 so if you want to come an wash your at 3am - you can! This place the best! read more

Also, while there's usually no need for assistance, the fellow who cleans & oversees the business has been there the last two times I've used the wash. Enough time that I'm done before the time elapsed & plenty of soap & strong rinse spray. Plenty of time to use the brush as well. How could the 1 Star person have missed the Mon-Fri sign? I feel compelled to write a review of this place, since it was my FIRST time at a self wash kind of place, and because my experience was better than I anticipated. Before even going, I suggest you come prepared (unlike me) and bring drying rags and Windex. They do sell them there, but why when you know you have them at home? This place is open 24/7, but the best days to go is M-F because they have a special of 20 minutes wash / $5.00 (it's more expensive on weekends, not sure exactly how much). I think it's best to have exact change because when I went, the change machine was broken and the only thing you can get is tokens. $1 = 1 token. So you get in there, park your car, drop in your tokens. A timer pops up that starts counting down your time. Use the turn knob to select which mode you want: rinse, soap, wax, conditioner which all comes out of the spray "wand". I think the only thing that does not come out of the wand is the brush, which when you select it, foams out suds. Does this even make sense? I hope it does. Anyway, it's kinda fun racing against the clock, and when you're done rinse, soap, brush, rinse, wax, rinse - then drive your car to the next station where you can add fragrance, vacuum, soap your carpet. I only did the vacuum which cost $1 / 3 minutes. Remember, there is no 'drying' gadgets, so this is where you can dry your car off with those rags you brought (wink wink) Bonus - the man that works there is SOOoo friendly. $5 for 20min? Best bang for your buck! You have to be quick though as you cant spend too long on scrubbing or cleaning your wheels. I love this place, it was very clean (no mud or whatever on the floor) and very spacious. I love the high pressure water, it removes the dirt quickly! I brought my own bucket and sponge for the soaping process. I really liked that there was a spot free rinse here, the other one I went to didn't have that option. I've been to many car washes before and I got to say, this one is probably the best one so far. It's amazing how awesome this place really is. The prices are excellent. 3$ for 6 minutes. 6$ for 20 minutes. 20 minutes is a long period of time. You don't have to rush when washing your car. I took my time, and I still had 4 minutes to spare. If you're wondering " well what if I have time to spare and I leave. Do the people behind me in line get that time?". Well, there is a sensor of when you leave. So as soon as you leave, the time will end, and the system will reset itself for the next customer. What I also like about this place is that they have a triple foam soaked. It will literally soap up your whole car! I live in Richmond. I do not mind the drive coming here. I 100% recommend this place. read more

Well yesterday went to wash are one of are vehicles an the hose broke off the thing an went spinning an took off a good chunk of his skin ! Ive tried calling them to have them fix it but for two days now no one idms there ! I was super excited when i first saw the sign that says $5 for carwash 20 min pr car. Didn't see smaller print until i drove in and saw that it is only mon thru friday. I figured O'well. I put in a $5 bill in coin machine then put all coins in actual wash asumming it would give me more then 3.5 min my fault was not paying attention.
