She listened patiently to my story, gave me credit on trust and it totally saved and made my day. I am so incredibly grateful to Mazia (spelling?). This is a very convenient gas station that I have used for several years. Have consistently experienced good service. This Chevron station is located in a fairly busy area. It's a nice area actually. However, this Chevron does not even have public restrooms available. People like me depend on gas stations having restrooms as we travel for work. As I'm sure families and senior citizens as well. I just don't understand why certain gas stations refuse to provide such a simple service for the public and then expect us to buy anything there. I won't go much into the pricing, but it's absolutely ridiculous. They should be ashamed they charge this much for gasoline. The owner clearly doesn't give one iota about the community or integrity. Also, I noticed food on the shelves that had been there for so long that the coloring on the packages were completely faded due to being in the sun day after day week after week. It's like $2-$3 per gallon more than other Chevrons in the area, looking to price gouge from Silicon Valley types who are too busy to look at the posted prices. Their restrooms were closed b/c of covid, we were bummed but still grabbed some snacks. Highway robbery! Coke (Mexican) $3.21 2 Snickers ice cream bars 2 @ $3.99 = $7.98 (!!!) Funyuns (the bag that usually costs like $1.89 right? It was $2.99 Granted, he told me the prices (i didn't ask) before I purchased, like he knew he was over charging me. Instead of 4 snickers ice cream bars, we only got two for the four of us. The price of gas was also noticeably higher than other gas stations (thankfully we didn't need gas). My travels took me this way and, even though gas here was almost 75 cents a gallon more than it should be (4.30/gallon) I said 'What the hell'. Walked in grabbed a red bull and small chips, normally $4.50 to $5 at ANY other gas station and said I wanted 20 bucks of gas. I was told "That'll be 29.75." They wanted $10 for a red bull and a bag of chips? That's insane! When you add on they are potentially one of the most expensive gas stations in the United States then it's just bad business! Drove one mile the wrong way for my trip and hit an ARCO on Woodside Rd. Gas was almost 90 cents a gallon cheaper, snacks were less than $4.50. I get the owners of this place want to milk the rich residents of Atherton and Sharon Heights, but this is crazy!
