His physician called in a prescription yesterday for what appears to be conjunctivitis (pink eye), and he has been waiting for treatment. I arrived at the pharmacy counter at approximately 1:28 PM. The pharmacy employee greeted me, pulled up my father's information, and discussed the prescription with me. After already beginning the transaction, she suddenly informed me that it was now 1:30 PM and the pharmacy was closing for lunch. Without offering any assistance, empathy, or attempt to complete the transaction, a metal security gate was lowered and I was told to return in 30 minutes. What bothered me was not that the staff took a lunch break. Everyone deserves a lunch break. What bothered me was the complete lack of compassion and customer service. The employee had already accessed the prescription and was actively assisting me. Knowing the medication was for an elderly patient in a skilled nursing facility who had already been waiting since the previous day, a little common sense and courtesy would have gone a long way. Healthcare is ultimately about people. In this case, I felt like a clock mattered more than a patient. Based on this experience, I can understand why this location has struggled with customer satisfaction ratings. I sincerely hope management takes a closer look at how patients and caregivers are being treated.

No public restroom and that food shop is tight for space inside. But it's loaded with everything you could want. The usual stuff like: Snacks, drinks, sandwiches, candy, ice cream, etc. FACT: A hungry driver gets tired faster. So grab something to munch on while driving. The young lady working as cashier is very polite and patient with customers. This shop is small inside. When 3 customers come inside, you can barely turn around. I go out expecting the pump (# 3) to be finished. BUT NO! It stopped at the 5.5 gallon mark. Yikes, this is not good. I had to restart the pump, and then went back inside to find out why the pump stopped. The polite cashier told me pump #3 sometimes stops for no reason due to vibrations or shaking. Uh-okay, so the nozzle clicks off due to ground vibration. Okay, so more time to buy more junk food for the road. Gas prices are high here. On Feb 10, 2023, UL REG was $4.85 without discounts. Midgrade and Prem are over $5-gallon. But this station is on Woodside Road. A major roadway leading to freeways. Heavy traffic flow. People like me carry the gas cards of five major brands of gasoline. Shell is top tier gas, and today Shell got my business. This location has no carwash. There is enough room to maneuver pickup trucks, SUVs, and light trucks pulling trailers. Good luck when leaving, there's some tight turns around the islands. I am a regular customer who frequently purchases fuel at this location, and I have always had positive interactions with the staff. However, my experience today with a female employee described as having blonde curly hair, tall, chubby was unacceptable. I came into the store to purchase lottery tickets and brought coins that I had carefully counted and organized in advance. My transaction was very simple and should not have required a significant amount of time. Instead of completing my transaction, the employee repeatedly attended to other customers while leaving me standing at the counter without properly finishing my purchase. Although there may have been a language barrier, that should not have prevented her from providing basic customer service, paying attention, or treating me with respect. Throughout the interaction, she appeared uninterested, unfriendly, and dismissive. She did not acknowledge the inconvenience caused, showed no effort to assist me, and came across as very rude. As a result, I spent nearly an hour waiting when my transaction should have taken only a few minutes. I found this treatment particularly disappointing because all of the other employees I have encountered at this location have always been courteous, friendly, and helpful. I am not writing this complaint lightly. As a loyal customer, I believe every customer deserves to be treated respectfully and served in a timely manner. I hope management will review this incident and provide the appropriate coaching and training to ensure other customers do not have a similar experience. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
