i used to go get my car washed here all the time and they would always do a great job, but this was the first time in a while. yesterday i took my car in for a supreme wash, the girl who checked me in said that included interior. they left my car dusty, dirty and disgusting. i didn't pay $30 plus tip for something i could've just ran through the $5 auto wash for. (oh and my drivers side floor mat is gone!) i took it back in to get a refund and the girl at the counter was apologizing for them when she saw the photos i took and said "a lot of people have been complaining". she got the car wash manager and he was automatically rude as he approached me. he goes "did you pay for the $100 detail? no? then that didn't include interior and there's nothing i can do." ???? ive been here many times and never paid that much but they have never left my car looking like this. i mean come on? the seat clearly wasn't even wiped down? there's spots on my dash that they didn't even bother to wipe off? and there's dust everywhere! i would've just paid for the basic if i knew this was going to be what i would receive. never coming back. i can do a better job myself in five minutes. read more

Sorry, cannot recommend Pit Stop car wash. Just paid for the Ultra ($19.99)and the windshield was done poorly, both in and out. That's the one thing I expect when paying for a car wash. The kids were friendly, but the quality of work was well less than expected. You only get one shot guys! read more

This location is an absolute disappointment. I already have an extreme dislike for poor car wash service, and this didn't help. I have (had) the Everwash membership, so I visited this location (at 7AM because they're closed by the time I get off work) expecting the same amenities. No. Here you have to pay an extra $7 for them to vacuum the inside (and no free vacs available). That was annoying but fine until I realized they are terrible at vacuuming. When I opened my Jeep door the interior looked the exact same -- complete with dog hair on my passenger seat and the same crumbs and dirt on the floor. When I asked if he vacuumed, he pretended to not understand English (or maybe he didn't) and just smiled confusedly. You'd think with 6 people in red shirts walking around aimlessly, you'd get something close to customer service. No. The Pit Stop locations already have inconvenient hours of operation, so this made cancelling my membership that much easier. *ARGH* read more

Came this morning to get a quick car wash before work. I disconnected my phone charger and ipod nano for easier cleaning and put everything in my clean and empty trunk. Once they were finished cleaning my car, I noticed that my ipod nano was missing. I tried talking to the manager but she was "too busy" in a meeting to come out and help out with the situation. She just told the supervisor to tell me that they're not "responsible for belongings inside the car" even though I had JUST disconnected it for them to clean the inside of my car. Nobody seems to have it of course, so even though it's a minor thing, I called the local police to see if we can find the person responsible for that. HORRIBLE customer service. It's the LAST time I'll ever be back here. I don't recommend it to anybody. Very dishonest staff. read more

They have good gas prices. Went there today to get my car washed. Needless to say, after an hour of waiting as I watched my car recieve very little attention and dry in the heat...for the $28 service, I was told my car was finished. This was the crapiest car wash I have ever had...except for thise held by highschool students at fundraisers. When I pointed out that my wheels were still dirty, I was told it was because of the tire dressing. When I pointed out the bird poop on the roof, the manager was standing next to me...offered no solution. He seemed more concerned about coming up with BS explanations than remedies. The interior had barely been touched. This place showed no signs of having the desire to make things right. There wasn't even an offer to have it sent through the wash again. After I requested a refund, the manager didn't even try to appologize. I WILL NOT go back, not for gas, and not for any merchandise. I will either go to Terrible's on Pecos or to the Shell Station on Flamingo. I don't need the headache. read more

Absolute worst car wash EVER. The people that clean the cars are thieves. The management doesn't hold anyone accountable for their actions. As a loyal customer my boyfriend got his car washed by them a few days ago and had his prescription Versace glasses stolen. Absolutely pathetic, if you want something WORK FOR IT. We live down the street and have many family members go here because we refer them, after this incident everyone has already canceled there membership. Really disappointing the management didn't do anything to compensate or even just try to get the glasses back. Disappointed it makes me put one star because this place isn't worth it. read more

When this spot first opened it was 5 star all the way. The last few months it's gone down hill a bit. I usually get the exterior supreme wash only because I do the interior myself at home. When this place was doing a great job, they would actually take their time and dry my truck properly. For a quick exterior wash is was the best place I've found in town. The last 3 times I went they would just rush through drying my truck and it looked awful. Today was going to be their last chance. Thankfully I had CJ doing the drying portion. He took his time and made sure my truck looked pristine before I left. He single handedly restored my faith in The Pit Stop and I will continue to use them for my car washes. Killer job CJ! I used to go here a lot...Quality of service has gone way down! What is it with the homeless sleeping on there property? Crazy!?

So I used to think this place was generally okay as far as car washing goes. I mean it is overpriced and they do miss stuff, but I realize that if I want to be a perfectionist and nitpicky that I need to do it myself so with that being said they're okay. However, about 4 days ago I took my car in and got the Platinum wash. Overall the car looked good. But I did realize a couple days later (of course after I'd thrown the receipt out) that whatever they spray on the inside (I'm assuming Armor All) was sprayed on the plastic around my gear shifter and not wiped off so the spray stained it and looked horrible. I didn't bother taking it back because I can't prove that they did it. My car is leased and 6 months old so naturally I was pissed about the fact that nothing would take these marks off. I ended up having to buy a buffing compound to get it off, which still isn't all off and it's not 100% the way it was before, but it's better and I'm grateful. Needless to say I won't be coming here again. I know another person who's car seat they literally broke plastic off of and tried to say they didn't do it. They don't treat your car with care and I'm not willing to pay for crappy service. Beware and be very particular if you don't want your car damaged. read more

This used to be a very good car wash but after this last experience they have lost me as customer forever. I brought my car in for a mid-tier exterior and interior wash. The guy who checks in the cars asked if I wanted the seat shampooed as well for $15 more and I agreed. At this point he should have noted how much longer this service would take. In total I waited TWO HOURS and it might have taken longer had I not said anything to the manager because I noticed no one was tending to my car after an hour. read more

Usually a nice car wash with nice employees. I learned to not come in after 6 pm. I showed up at 6:30 and they close at 7pm. Immediately I got the eye roll from the checkin girl. I asked if it would be better if I came back the next day. She said , no it's fine. Then my car sat to be dried while all the employees counted their tips. After finally saying something they got to it. Like I said usually a great experience. I would suggest visiting the car wash in the morning and not late afternoon. Sales guy Jeremy done a great job on going over the different wash packages with me! The young black kid who done the cleaning done a very bad job and I got a premium wash package and he didn't even wipe all of the truck off! Then I go to the interior after he gave me my keys for a second time and told me it was ready and they didn't even vacuum off the seats I got to say definitely won't be back here for a car wash and I left my truck there for an hour and a half while I was at the gym I figured it would be convenient while I worked out but I guess not!! The car wash is always a winner in my book. I have a points card and after a few washes, I get one free. They have a flat screen TV in the waiting area and they used to have Food Network on it all the time. I thoroughly enjoyed that. They are quick and do a good job. I got the express wash and the car wash broke the antenna. The employees had me fill out a claim and said the manager would contact me in two days to take care of the repair. I never heard back and called and she said I was responsible and I also spoke to the district manager who said the same thing and offered me a $18.99 car wash instead. I have used this car was numerous times in the past for more expensive washes w/ no issue and their response is very disappointing. read more

*** WARNING!! DO NOT USE THIS CAR WASH. *** I used this carwash last weekend on Sat, Nov 30, 2013, my front hood was damaged, and the paint was chipped off or scrubbed off the damage was reported. The next day I received a call from the store manager (Amber) she was responsive and set up a meeting for me to bring the vehicle by on Monday afternoon so that the District Manager could take a look at it. The district Manager (Justin) implied that the damage to our vehicle was a simple case of oxidation and implied that the damage was there prior to me bringing the vehicle in. I felt that he was questioning my integrity as he was implying that I was untruthful as I told him that the paint was not damaged prior to my visit. He insisted that there was no way that his Chevron Pit Stop Car Wash was responsible for the damage to the paint on our hood. He then offered me a $150 credit for a detail, which I kindly refused. I am currently an active member of the Armed Forces with over 25 years of service; I believe in honesty and integrity and treating everyone with respect with that said I will never use this car wash again, I would warn anyone from using this establishment. read more

Let me first say thank you to a very professional car wash manager John at the Maryland/Windmill location where my passenger mirror was unfortunately damaged in the car wash. I've used this car wash a ton of times without incident before and realize this time was just a freak one off. Anyway, John was really helpful with the claim procedure, etc. Which brings me to Brandon at the Paso Verde location off the 215 and Stephanie exit. Brandon is the overall carwash manager and extremely curtious as well. He called me and told me he'd like to reimburse, install my new mirror as well as hand wash/wax. I was really surprised as my vehicle is not new but nice...2007 Avalanche. I dropped it off and only a couple of hours later. Job done and done great. I would like to acknowledge the mad skills of the person that actually did the installation as well because it was a superb job and I'm very greatful! Review for car wash. . I usually only get gas here and something to drink. I will not get my jeep washed here again after the horrible service and the long wait to get it washed. It took 1 hour for the whole process. And I was only the 5th car in line right when they opened. After it was "washed" There was still dirt and water spots all over. I asked for my keys and took a trip down to terribles and got a full service detail with wax for 10 dollars more then what they charge me. I won't have any more car washes here. . read more

Today it was hot and I decided to avoid the sweat so I paid the $20 here and when they gave it back it was still super dirty inside. I used to come here all the time. There were older hispanic men finishing up the cars after they went thru the automatic car wash. I never had any issues and you can see they really took their time. Things have changed! Now they have all these lazy teenagers finishing up the cars and they're a complete joke. I'm not saying teenagers can't handle working, but at least management should watch them to ensure they're actually doing something. This girl took like 10 minutes tops, and said she "couldn't wait to be done for the day." We took our car to this wash this morning and they left our sunroof open and water poured in a had now destroyed our headliner possible electric components, and the drop down tv. The manager took an incident report but refused to give us a copy when asked. She then went from being really nice to extremely rude and from saying "not to worry they were very sorry and will replace anything that goes wrong." to then "we need to run tapes back" and "we will see if we replace anything, good luck and have a nice day." This wash has no responsibility for anything. I'm not surprised though judging by the employees as we were pulling in were flipping each other off. This place is sub par and I recommend you go somewhere else. I went this afternoon and paid the $54.99, a special rate to clean, shampoo carpets and seats. I asked how long since I was on my lunch hour....I was told 40 minutes. After an hour and 10 minutes I asked how much longer and was told another 40 minutes? Apparently the guy out front has no idea how long it takes to do all this? Being already late to return to work I had to ask for my car....it was only cleaned, none of the carpets or mats shampooed and none of the seats cleaned. With having guests coming into town and me driving them around tomorrow this is so inconvenient, not to mention costly!! Have they changed management? This used to be such a great car wash? Stopped in for an overdue car wash. Friendly service from the moment you pull up until you get you keys back. They have three options of washes and all are reasonably priced.mi went with the Ultra( middle one) and it included interior and exterior with the tires being detailed as well. Almost everything was good, except my front and rear windows. Didn't see when first left but in the correct sunlight/ shade it really showed. Then We wait in the line for about 20 Minutes just to get the car vacuum the workers are all very young messing around cars are lining up The Manager needs to get his shit together . I'll never go to their car wash again. I wish I could give zero stars. I've been there at least 6 times, and have brought my Jeeps and Gladiator there. I've never had any problems with them before. I've always paid $20 and always gave a generous tip. I always feel bad for them being out in the heat and lots of people are struggling during this pandemic. Even though they don't do the greatest job; they've left rags on my hood and inside my Jeep, which I had to throw out, and the last time they left my rearview mirror, radio, cup holder, and dash dirty...but I figured I can't be too picky being that Covid has limited my choices. It's a Jeep and it'll get dirty again anyways. This time I went in, already paid, and was waiting for my Jeep. I was informed that I shouldn't have paid $20 all those times and should've paid $45 to get it handwash because my Jeep has certain parts on it that can break off in the wash. Umm, you weren't scared before and did it all those other times with no problems. Terrible Herbst and other car washes I've gone to run it through without complaining. I asked if he can just honor the price this one time since I already paid, it's their mistake, I'm not getting anything crazy like waxed, there's no mud, it's pretty much clean, they already started cleaning it, and I'm an established customer. I would go ahead and pay it next time. The manager, "nope, you should've been charged that price all along. I don't know why they've charged you that price." I was even considering getting the membership which they said would be $20 a month since I go there a lot. Once again, quoting me that price for my car wash. I'm never going back, buying gas from there, or any convenience store items from there. I'm just going to call my regular guy who comes to my home and charges me $40. There's a ton of cars here on a Saturday morning. But there are about 20-25 car washers here to wash, dry, and wax your car. They offer both express (outside only) and full car wash service. I have never had a problem with their service here, as I leave with my car exactly how I expect it to look after a car wash. I have an F 250, I went through the wash and the detail crew thought that because they couldn`t reach the middle of my windshield that it didn`t need to be cleaned. Forget the bed of the truck, they couldn`t even get in the bed to clean the top of the crew cab or the sunroof. If they can`t reach it, they wont clean it. Kind of like when you were a kid and thought that when you put your hands over your eyes that no one could see you. i have been going here for years and clearly i`m an IDIOT. Convenient location at Stephanie and 215, this place usually has decent prices for gas. They accept Vons card for gas rewards. There is a great car wash with meticulous employees, although the prices aren't the best around. Get a car wash punchcard if you plan on coming here often. There's a good size waiting area inside. The store is spacious, clean and has anything you might need on a quick stop. I take one star off because I've had issues with the pumps malfunctioning while pumping gas. read more

If you don't have time to do it yourself or pay a detail company I would use this as a quick fix or as a pre-clean before you ckean it yourself. I have had several bad experiences in the last 6 months, but I decided to give them one last shot a few days ago. And it was another bad car wash. The team rushes me to hurry up and get out of my car, once inside- poor customer service, and then once I get my vehicle back- the wash was awful.
