Jorge, the old man with white hair, should be fired. He is such a nasty, rude old man. This is the 3rd awful interaction I've had with him. I walked into the store late Friday night, grabbed 2 water bottles, and took them to the register. He immediately pointed to the service refusal sign on the door, and said he will not serve me. He told me to leave. He embarassed me in front of other customers. My last interaction with him left me in tears after he asked me if I eat cats and dogs because I'm Filipino. I've heard him talk to other people of color with disrespect. I'm not sure what his problem is, but grandpa needs to go. The rest of the staff is so wonderful and I enjoy seeing them. Stop and gotten gas at this Chevron many times. Not too far from where the 210 freeway meets from one direction from the other. Their pumps were working to where I can use my Atm or credit cards. Get ready for the wildest, wackiest gas station in California. Seriously, these guys are hilarious. Someone told me about this spot and that it was run by an improv comedy troupe. I didn't believe it but, wow, I'm impressed. I went on a Tuesday and there was hardly anyone there, but as soon as I get there and start pumping gas, a guy POPS out of the car wash dressed as a pineapple and screaming in Hebrew. It had my grandmother in stitches! They have this one character who pretends to hang out by your car and light up a cigar while you're pumping gas. And then they do this whole fake explosion bit and he turns around, his face is covered in soot and the cigar is totally exploded. I've been to the comedy store. I've been to the laughfactory. I didn't buy gasoline here; only water and a lotto ticket. The water was Crystal Geyser. One of the big 1 liter bottles. Isn't it funny how we don't live in a metric system country, but water is sold in one liter bottles? Shouldn't it come in quart bottles or whatever wacky unit of measurement we use? Horse brains or unicorn tears? It's so stupid we don't just use the metric system like every other country. Kids would thank us for not having to remember crazy conversions. Although, with Google Home and Alexa, you don't have to know those conversions anymore because you can just ask your smartphone to do it for you. The water tasted great, by the way. As for the lotto, I bought a ticket because the jackpot was up to $400 million. I only play when it gets really high. Otherwise it's not worth my time. $100 million? Psh. Who needs it? Unfortunately, I didn't win. I thought my chances were going to be shit when three of the numbers I got were 30, 36, and 39. I hate getting numbers clustered together like that even though it doesn't make a damned difference. Actually, 30 was one of the numbers in the draw. Nobody won the draw so maybe I'll buy another ticket. Although, my old boss, who never played lotto, said her chances of winning were the exact same as mine each time I played. Only if you round up! In that vein, please don't spend $100 buying lotto tickets. Don't even spend $20 buying lotto tickets. It isn't a good investment. You'd be better off buying fragments of bitcoin. Ok, so I had to get gas after work, my total came out to $40. The lady charged me twice and on my bank statements the transaction was made almost 5 minutes apart when I was only in there for 1 minute. I live an hour away and so I called the store to get the extra charge back but no answer. I called multiple times till I got an answer then she was extremely rude and said I have to call my bank and I work in customer service and know how it works when an overcharge is made in stores. I asked to speak to a manger and she said no manager here so I said ok what's your name? She then said bye then hung up on me. I called again pissed tf off and asked what her name was and she just ignored me again hung up on me. I really wanna go and beat tf out this bitches ass right now but im pregnant and grown now so ill avoid getting a charge but, all im saying is be careful they overcharge then don't even try and fix it. Im usually not a Karen but this bitch don't need to work here treating customers like that and make sure to check your bank before you leave. read more

Don't know what happened today. They're usually nice but not today. Just left there 5 minutes ago. I had to repeat myself when she didn't hear me properly. She immediately started with attitude. I slid my card and it didn't seem to take so I asked if I should slide it again. She replies 'what does it say?'. Guess what lady, we had to interact for all of 2 minutes and for some reason your chose to make it unpleasant. Best of luck to you. read more

Very clean inside, gas prices are great for the brand. 1 star as I'd rather pay more/go to a different brand then support this location. Terrible, horrible, disgusting customer service by Silvia. I walked in around 3 pm I simply asked her "do you offer a cash discount for gas?" She asked what I meant already in a very aggressive tone so I clarified "some gas stations in the area offer 10 cents off if pay with cash instead of credit card." Woooowwww what an attitude!!! I have never experienced such Rude aggressive looking for a fight attitude... One of these days she's going to do that to the wrong person... She waived her right hand moving her head as she spoke saying why would we give a cash discount no other gas station does that carried on and on wouldn't even let me speak. I said it was a simply a question I wanted to know b4 pumping gas so I know how I want to pay (the gas stations (Shell and Mobil/Exxon) on the corner of Colorado and Verdugo As well as the Chevron at 2960 W Broadway offer the discount on top of any grocery card discounts) she cut me off and stated they cannot force me to pay cash and they are wrong and I'm basically stupid Wowwww... The attitude she thinks she's doing me a favor by allowing me to Purchase gas. I later went back inside to buy snacks just to give it another chance... and overheard her giving attitude to an elderly man as he was very kindly saying he is having difficulty reading the machine instructions for swiping the Vons discount card. She said very aggressively and loudly sir you're giving me an attitude and I will not help you. He explains he can not read what the machine is saying and if she could please assist she said No I'm not helping you among other things and told him if he wants gas he can pay outside. Customer repeated and asked Please help me she basically kicked him out. I went out to try and help him and he said he's going to another gas station just said apparently he doesn't speak the right language. Went back in and she gave me attitude I also walked out.
