Been going here for 6 years . Went to get gas . I always use my debit wallet tap and pin .... ALWAYS ... just how I always get lotto debit pin . ALWAYS ... guy printed my lotto and said no tap debit . So I said that's a lie the lady always lets me get it . So he calls her and she lies and says no I never . Mind you I have records to show. So I go home get my card and the bitch over the phone says no service I'm calling the police . So I called too . Reading the reviews she is a bitch. So the lotto will s void . No public restroom here. It's not "broken" or "out of order", etc. This review is regarding the use of the restroom on a Wednesday afternoon. After driving for over two hours, I am very surprised by the employee and manager of this location not allowing a person to use the restroom. When I walked in and asked hi there, can I use the restroom? She said we don't have a restroom here. I paused and said there is no way you accepted a job where there is no restroom. She then said we have a restroom for employees, but I am following the rules and it is not a public restroom. I told her I was driving for two hours and that I wouldn't touch anything, I would just do my business and leave. She insisted in saying I'm following the rules. I really hope you're not desperate to use the restroom when you are at this location. It is absurd for someone not to let a person use the restroom I mean, come on. I understand she was following the rules so I asked to speak to the manager and she said she was the manager. I still understand she was following the rules, but I still don't understand how was she not allowed to let someone use the restroom?! I am just shocked by the lack of care for the other (referring to the same lady others have posted about on here). I understand there must be multiple people asking to do the same, who are not neat and clean; I can only imagine the way I would be treated if I were not nicely dressed. Anyway, this delayed my trip. Great spot to get cheap gas in Burbank. They are on the corner of Alameda and Lake by the 5 freeway. They have pumps on both the Alameda and Lake sides. They also have a mechanic on site! Very cool! I never have to wait long for an open pump. Definitely a great station for anyone coming to it from the 5 freeway or anyone who is just looking for cheap gas in town. read more

Just went to this gas stations and had a terrible experience. The pump wasn't working, so we went inside to tell the cashier multiple times. Extremely rude cashier - her name is Veronica with piercings on her face. Instead of helping us, she just said she'll give us our money back and that we could try somewhere else. We left and came to the Arco near Porto's. Why be so mean??? We were extremely nice to get trying to explain the situation and we got attitude right away. I tried to get gas. My car was simultaneously charged $50 and declined. I showed the transaction to the cashier, who called her "manager" over. The "manager" was immediately hostile and belligerent and refused to help me. Then she threatened to call the police on me. I've been using this gas station for 20 years, but after this verbal assault from the manager today, I will not buy gas here anymore. I DO love the mechanic VJ, and he says the businesses are separate, but the women who work in the gas station (particularly the manager, who refused to tell me her name) were aggressively and needlessly belligerent. I have read many reviews saying much the same: Stolen money, cheated out of gas, abusive staff. The owner always answers about being "concerned," yet these women are still employed there. Worst customer service worst employees do not come to this location.do net expect to get help from the manager Silvia. She is the most rude unprofessional hopefully x manager you will ever meet her employee was embarrassed of her the police were also pretty shocked by her actions. Not good service and not a good person to be proud of representing arco. I will not be returning here for as long as the service manager works here. Zero stars if I could. The morning female attendee is so rude. I went to pump gas this morning with a $50 gift card. The machine said I had a current balance of $50 (considering I hadn't used it- it had been a Christmas gift) when I took the nozzle off to pump gas it didn't work. I tried to cancel the transaction and it didn't it froze. I pressed cancel again and moved to a different pump, tried at the different pump and the card declined. When I tried to tell the attendee, at first she was happy to help, I had told her I was at pump #2 and that it wasn't pumping and I had moved to pump #5. She had said oh. I stopped it and smiled and at the moment I didn't catch it. She said no problem, swipe your card here and when I did It had declined she said that my balance was 0 and I rementioned, I tried to cancel over at pump #2 it's a brand new card. She said well it says the balance is zero and it's impossible for it to have $50 dollars when it says zero. She told me that there's nothing on it, when did I buy it and where. I told her it was a gift so I don't know, that I don't even remember who gave it to me. She said well the last transaction was for X amount. That my card is not her fault. I told her okay, either way pump #2 is not working and she said it is and I said no because it didn't pump gas that my gift card had money on. She started getting upset with me and started raising her voice towards me. She printed my current balance of my gift card and said you and your friend go somewhere with this and I told her my friend? What are you talking about? (I was alone) she said the one that got you this card and I said I don't know who did it's brand new how is it zero and I pumped no gas. She said it wasn't her problem and it's not her fault. I told her I'm just frustrated and she cut me of raising her saying that she's frustrated cause it's not her problem and not her fault and I needed to leave. I told her the pump doesn't work. She told me not to yell at her and I responded I'm not yelling as she was raising her voice towards me so I matched her she Threatened to call the COPS on me because I wouldn't leave and a long line was forming. She started ignoring me to help the person behind me and I said fine but pump #2 is not working. She yelled no they all work. -- I proceed to use pump #5 with my debit card and when that was done I went to pump #2 again and saw that it still had the cancel screen. I tried to cancel. I went back in there again to tell her I just want to make sure you cancel the transaction I had on pump 2 she finally went out there, she tried to cancel it and then she asked me to open my gas chamber and she inserted the nozzle herself, tried to pump gas herself and NOTHING. She grabbed the gas and goes it's pumping but the screen doesn't work. I said but I didn't pump $50 worth of gas. She goes here extending the gas hose and it wasn't pumping any gas - you know right before gas pumps we all know that little noise it makes and you can feel it in the hose. There was none of that. Im not stupid. I told her no it's not. And she put the nozzle away and said she'd cancel the transaction inside. Did she? I don't know. I waited a few minutes to see the screen change and it never did. It stayed on the press and begin to fuel page with the cancel button on the screen still. Am I out $50 from a gift card? I don't know. All I know is the morning attendee is so rude and gave up easily on helping me. read more

I usually have a great experience with the employees. a lot are very friendly and connect well. Yesterday I was giving a lady my number for her to find a job with her son who has special needs. The employee came out and told me to leave and when I asked why? he had a body cam on and started to record the lady, myself and my car. I told them I didn't feel comfortable with this. I called the manager in the morning to inform of the behavior and the manager started to gas lit me and state I made up the story. he also said this was a good employe. with an ending to tell me to never come back again and Call me all sorts of names. who treats women like this?! reporting to BBB and made a report to the police. treat your customers right! read more

Arco tends to have really competitive gas prices, almost as low as Costco- especially if you pay cash and save yourself the ATM fee. This one, located on Glenoaks & Roscoe- just before you hop onto the 5 freeway south towards Burbank, is one of my go-to stations. There's always a pump open, hardly ever a line inside to get to the cashier and they have an almost decent indoor bathroom (key from cashier needed). There are hand sanitizer dispensers by the pumps and water and squeegees for your bug-splattered windshield. Also, they have coffee, soft drinks, snacks and sundries in a tiny mini-mart. I was on my way home early afternoon today. My gas tank was on empty. I stopped here and paid for $40 with a $100 bill. I washed my windows and forgot to get my $60 change. I left and went on about my day. Then, about 4 hours after I left the service station, it dawned on me what had happened! I tried to look them up to call, but for some reason, I thought I had been to chevron, so I couldn't find it on Yelp. I got in my car and set off for beautiful downtown Burbank. I started retracing my path from earlier today and voilà! There it was! I went in and told them my story. The current cashier relayed my story to the manager and he gave me the $60! I never leave reviews but I've also never had an experience like I did this evening. I've been going to this ARCO for as long as I remember, have spent thousands of dollars here in fuel over the years, I haul horses & it is convenient & cheap near the Los Angeles Equestrian Center. This evening I paid the cashier $80 cash on pump 12, when I started to use the pump I realized the price was still at the credit price, I paid cash for a reason, times are tough every dollar counts. So I went back inside to inform the cashier that the pump was still at the credit price, I paid cash. She spoke no English only Spanish so I tried to explain to her the situation but she had no clue what I was sayjng, she was kind but we could not communicate so after a while she calls a woman and hands me the phone so now I'm on speakerphone with another woman who I again explain the situation.. she goes on to lecture me about how gas pumps work (yes I know have been coming here for years & years, I drive for a living) then tells me this is how every gas station in America works. I've never had a gas station employee or manager( I have no clue who this woman on the phone was) speak this way! I'm a customer, what the heck is going on right now! So at that point I asked for my money back, & went to another station in town. Leaving an employee to run your business that doesn't speak English is a bit questionable but to be so rude, on speakerphone with other customers waiting behind me was just mind blowing. read more

I JUST GOT SHORTED ON MY GAS AT THIS ARCO!!! The gauges on the gas pump is reading one thing but you don't get the amount of gas you're supposed to get! It's the second time this has happened to me. I'll definitely be going to the Shell across the street from now on because I've never had this problem with them. If you decide to take a chance with this Arco you better pay attention to your gas gauge as well as the mileage to gas ratio before you leave the station!! NEVER AGAIN!!! read more
