The lady gas station worker said the limit was up to $1.00 savings per gallon on gas if you have saved up enough Kroger credits. Since I have no "Official" Kroger gas station around me, only Shell gas stations, I guess somehow I had saved up a lot of credits. So my gas was $2.... something a gallon only. The last time I stumbled across a Kroger gas station last year I saved .40 cents per gallon on Rayford past Imperial Oaks. I was excited then but you can imagine the real excitement I experienced that I had to yelp about it. Why not share the savings and love ;). This Kroger gas station is Not by a Krogers. It's free standing by itself and looks like they just opened. They are still installing skinny pipes which look like they might be for a sprinkler system and other stuff to the dirt by the street side. Worth checking out if you have a lot of Kroger credits and have only been saving the measly .10cents a gallon at the Shell gas stations. They have soda machines and a walk up gas station stand but not a mini mart hence the 4 star rating.

I've been here a few times and I've always had great service. I used the app to get deals and…read moresometimes freebies. The drink areas but the teas and the coffee is always clean. I've ordered sandwiches here and pizzas which were really good. The grilled cheese with meat are a standout. I like the coffee bar especially because there's an assortment of cold and hot coffee that you can dispense yourself. I'm always treated with good customer service on most of my interactions. I highly recommend this location and their fresh made foods.

The gas pumps work well and everything is relatively clean around the pumping stations. The guys behind the register are generally nice and helpful. I stopped at a chain donut shop and they sold me a burnt donut which I threw out the car window so the birds could have it and went on my way. As I was turning around to head back to Conroe, I went through the drive of a newish Exxon station and they had a sign advertising tacos. I thought, "sounds good," and went in. Looking at the menu I noticed they sold the El Salvadoran Papusa and it had been a few years since I had one near Hwy 6 and Bellaire Blvd. in Houston and I hoped that this one might be ok. It was much better than OK. As Tony the Tiger says, "It was great!" The Curtido (spicy cabbage) was great. Later, I picked my wife up and took her here and she was amazed at how good it was.
