So myself and friend decided to go pick up a few things. upon arriving back to pick our vehicle Ms. Vernalla welcomed us back with smiles to let us know that our vehicle was not ready . That wouldn't be much longer. Making sure the we would get our credit for the core of the old battery. The price of the new battery was awesome having a three year warranty. If you're heading north, cross over the highway to use it - if you're heading into Houston it's on the correct side for you. Gas is not usually that cheap here and there probably better stops further up the highway in either direction to be honest for cheap gas - but it's good for using the bathroom or if you want to eat some awful crap like Denny's then it will work for you as well. They have a big convenience store and all the trucker facilities you might want, and don't forget they have a Denny's attached so you can have really really really really really really crap breakfast food if you really want 24 hours a day. The "entrance" requires you to loop around almost the whole facility before you can actually pull into the lot with the little store and pumps. My pump worked fine and the gas was $3.04- the exact same price as the Shell across the street. The lot was clean, I didn't see any loose trash and there weren't any people loitering around the outside lurking and watching me wrangle the gas pump. One item of annoyance- the video screen plays commercials the entire time your gas is being pumped. I had to watch an ad for the exact gas station I was currently standing at for 6 minutes. Really? It is always well kept, stocked well and clean. They have options as far as beverages of your choice too. There is a little deli kitchen area that is used sometimes.
