The location is at a neighborhood that is still growing with new homes, so it will get busier and has been for that reason also. I gave someone over the phone my debit card information as I was told this needed to be paid before it could be filled. They apologized and said, yeah, it looked like they didn't actually process my payment or forgot to hit a button or something. I told them this sounds seriously sketchy to be asked for my debit card number with the intent to pay for a prescription and my financial information not go to where it is intended. I hate the feeling of having to eagle-eye my bank account every day for the next few weeks to make sure they didn't double charge me. Also, I was given absolute zero consult regarding this prescription. I mean, I'm injecting myself with something for the first time in my life. Since self-service has been made available in Oregon, I do tend to hit that side and pump my own gas. Employees do constantly check on self-service users to make sure they are doing alright and if not, they assist without hesitation. What I found that really helps get through the self-service pumps is to use the Kroger-Pay inside the Fred Meyer app. It is way easier than using their slow computer screens on the pump, it takes in account your reward points and charges the credit card you have setup in the app. I can start pumping in usually a few seconds after I add the pump number. This also works if you go to full-service and the attendants love it when you do. Lastly the price at Fred Meyer is not as good as Costco, but the lines can be shorter, and it is usually cheaper than any other place nearby.
