I'm giving two stars instead of one because the two people behind the counter that I dealt with…read moretoday were very apologetic and polite with the issues I was having. So I was approved for a prescription of GLP-1 injection. When I spoke to someone at Northwest compounders last week, I was informed they needed payment before they could fill the prescription. OK, no problem. Gave them my debit number and went in today, which is Monday to pick up my prescription. It was ready, and they said it needed to be paid for. I said excuse me? I gave someone over the phone my debit card information as I was told this needed to be paid before it could be filled. They apologized and said, yeah, it looked like they didn't actually process my payment or forgot to hit a button or something. I told them this sounds seriously sketchy to be asked for my debit card number with the intent to pay for a prescription and my financial information not go to where it is intended. I hate the feeling of having to eagle-eye my bank account every day for the next few weeks to make sure they didn't double charge me. Also, I was given absolute zero consult regarding this prescription. I mean, I'm injecting myself with something for the first time in my life. Kind of wish there was a pharmacy tech or pharmacist to go over a few things with me, but whatever. They kindly put a brochure in my prescription bag with a QR code to a YouTube video on how to do it. ‍
