Long time neighborhood customer since they opened. They've…read morehad many turnovers in staff, some of them glad they're gone, but some sad to be gone. Michael, the owner, has since started the hot food again to offer. The staff, Mo x3 lol, John, (redbeard man) has made sure that customer service is everything and all food is freshly made and honest. It's Southeast Portland and it's hard to deal with the clientele that shows up and they deal with it with Grace. I don't think I've ever left a review for a gas station but since this is my neighborhood go to, I will give them kudos for taking into account and listening to their regular clientele. That's what makes things work being involved with your neighborhood. Back to the note of the hot food, the hot dogs are great quality, not cheap stuff, I'm happy so far. Be patient with what they're trying out and give them your thoughts, they're open what works. PS: Get a separate counter for the lottery people it really holds everyone else up in line.

There is no surcharge or minimum amount for credit card transactions!!! This is huge for me, as I could see myself walking a 1/2 mile to 7-11 to avoid that. No cashback but an ATM is available. Their staff is very friendly, helpful, and commutative. You will always be treated as a human and not a customer. A respect that you won't find at either of the nearby 7-11's both locations where I've experienced very unfriendly clerks. This is a clean nice store, run by nice people. This store is pretty comprehensive with their selection, maybe missing an item or two but I've requested items to be stocked and seen them in the store some time later. The produce they carry is always great, they also carry some preferable brands that can't be found at 7-11. (Umpqua ice cream!). They have some deals. I have noticed though that a snack run sometimes can be more than you anticipated. Not sure what it is that I buy that makes the price jump. I find at 7-11 I spend less money but I prefer Super Market by far for the larger selection of beer, friendliness, remembering my face, and better brands/products. Some of the deals I go for... Two energy drinks for $3 Two Candy bars for $2 (Some big candy bars too) Two Hostess for $3 Two Bananas for $1 Two Corndogs for $1.80 They have coffee, donuts, and a soda fountain at really good prices. Idk about that 1 star review for this place but in my experience If the guy behind the counter seems rude or jerkish, You're being messed with! They are always super friendly! Expect them to break out of character and put on a smile just before you think they're being for-real. Unless you're actually a jerk, in that case this isn't the store for you. I am very happy to have Super Market nearby as my local convenience store.

I had a rental car at the end of 2020 that kept slowly leaking air and after spending $1.75 to fill one tire at a closer gas spot, I decided I'd drive a bit to get free air. (You see, there are many Chevron gas stations in the greater Hillsboro/Beaverton areas and I wanted to make sure I was referring to the exact right one. And I don't know if they are brand new or not but I could not find them on Yelp listings yet. So I added them in. I believe their official address is 11015 SW Canyon Rd SW Canyon Dr, Beaverton, but I could be wrong. Just short and sweet - there is another Chevron station about half a mile back near the Fred Meyer's, but this is a different one. When I walked in - not only was I pleasantly greeted by the shop keep, (there were two of them, a guy and a girl and both delightful) - but they even rushed over to open the door for me. ??!?! What the-? Who does that at a gas station food shop? Anyway - that was only the beginning. The place was bright and immaculate and beautifully stocked. Not one but BOTH of the sales clerks walked right up to offer their help. And I wasn't even there with a car! It was just such a nice surprise to be greeted so pleasantly and then to have such amazing customer service the entire time I was there - I was floored. They treated me like the Queen of England instead of some sweating, over-heated blonde chick who wandered in to look for a cold drink and a can of tuna! LOL. I wish I had caught the names of the two workers who helped me but if their boss sees this - you should give those two a big, fat raise! (Not to sound marginalizing but since I don't know their names, all I can do is describe them. The female land male both appeared to be Hispanic or Latino (perhaps American Indian/Asian, too, not sure). The woman was probably in her 40-50s and the guy was just a kid, but very very sweet and helpful. They were SO much fun and unbelievable. And right about now it kinda restored my faith in humanity a bit. Great job you guys! Thank you! I will be back! (Whether on foot or in an actual vehicle, lol. Sure enough, I ended up with a very large and complicated order I needed to ask five different people for help and every last one was just delightful. The customers were even amazing. Checking out was very easy and they have bags that are not going to fall apart since it is nice to not bag something to deliver and have the bag falling apart. Now if only the customers ordering groceries were as nice as the store! Hay, so you order and we get assigned multiple orders.... it happens. The reason I needed FIVE different people to help was that one of my two customers was adding items and changing other items which means I get to go back to the other end of the store to change out stuff. Then starts sending messages asking how long I am going to be because they are late leaving to go to the river. These are also always the people who don't tip their shopper they just legit tortured and caused their other order to also be late. Pro tip - don't be a jerk and plan ahead - who orders delivery of groceries when they are scheduled to leave??? But definitely shop at this store. They were the reason I managed to stay zen while being verbally harassed through texts.

Things aren't necessarily in the same places I'm used to finding them (like my Tom Bumble is in the candy/chocolate aisle, not at every checkout,) and some items just don't have a large selection like I'm used to. BUT there was a much better selection of Sock it to Me!! And I love me some Sock it to Me socks!!! The store is friendly, convenient to my lash salon and I got my chocolate so I was happy!! It's just SO small that it's hard to navigate.
