The people that work there are very nice and provide great customer service. It's not their fault that the area where the store is located has become so run down. I'm always making homemade greeting cards and Christmas cards; I order online and pick them up here. Prices can't be beat and photos are always good quality. As I've mentioned in other reviews, I prefer the smaller versions of stores because it's easier to go in, grab what I need, and leave. I'm forever running a bunch of errands and this Walgreens fits the bill. Definitely smaller than most, but I don't need it to be larger. I'm coming here for a few items I can't get elsewhere. In. Out. Done. I've no experience with the a Pharmacy because I use Rite-Aid so this review is for the store itself. It's convenient for me since I drive by every single day going to and from the gym. There is plenty of parking in their own lot which adds to the convenience factor.

I was checking out and realized I forgot something, and she gave me the death stare. I went over to that section and needed a minute to find what I needed, and she was very impatient (nobody else was even there) and she rudely explained I needed to press the button to get her attention, when I wasn't ready for her to unlock anything yet. and then when I went to check out, I heard her say very loudly to the worker behind me "everybody should work in customer service at least once" or something like that, I believe talking about me. I was very nice and very apologetic and was not a difficult customer by a long shot. I've worked in retail/customer service my entire life and have dealt with some really horrible people, so I try to make it easy. and I realize that having to unlock everything isn't exactly fun, but she acted like it was my fault everything was locked up....I was in there way more often than she was and haven't seen her since and also haven't gone back in a while cause it's sketchy asf outside that store, but I hope she checks her attitude cause miss girl doesn't even know what it's like to actually handle difficult customers...that being said, everybody else I've seen there has been very nice and helpful, and I hope they all find better places to work at

Not only is it clean, those working here are friendly and helpful. Kudos to the manager for showing that this can be achieved in the inner city. Since I workout in the Pearl, this location is convenient because with a few extra turns, I can stop here on my way home. there is plenty of parking in their private lot out front. They hired a private security guard so I feel safe any time, day or evening. Typically, I'm here to stock up on my vitamins when they do a BOGO. While there, I'll pick up any beauty supplies I need, greeting cards, and always peruse the seasonal aisle because often there are hidden gems. Store was bright , clean and well organized Although I can't say they were well stocked. I picked up the last box of Salonpas; I would have bought another if they had it on the shelf. On my way out, picked up a few spontaneous purchases because I like the brand of popcorn they carry because it has clean ingredients, and some Unreal chocolate. I'm a Boost member meaning I get free pickup and deliveries. I ordered 3 items and the most expensive item was out of stock. I ended up being charged a pickup fee. I wasn't happy about that because what's the point of membership if I still have to pay fees? I completed their customer service survey, requesting someone from management reach out. They did and offered me the refund of fees as a gift card. Ultimately, me being charged fees for pickup was their parent company's (Kroger) fault. Even so, the store's customer service was excellent and the person who brought the order to my vehicle was super helpful. One of the items I ordered was a fire pit and it was out of stock. The guy that brought me my order gave me suggestions on where I could find one the day before a major holiday. I use the app to take advantage of the digital sales. Regular prices are typically reasonable compared with other grocery stores.
