Long standing issues with this CVS Pharmacy inside Target. The Pharmacist get away with consistent terribly rude behavior, and if you complain, they retaliate with power trips such as: being unable to correct issue with prescription notification, not filling a prescription for 4 days, and then when I show up, that item is out stock. Next day I get the text that my prescription is ready, and after standing in line for 15 minutes, I am told it is in fact not ready and I have to wait a half hour. This doesn't just happen to me... Additionally the Pharmacist weaponize the Assistants against us so we get snotty, snide attitude with arrogance, because they know CVS HQ will do nothing to them. I've contacted CVS HQ, and they do nothing to check the behavior of their Pharmacist. Target can do nothing since it does not employ the CVS staff. What Target could do is cancel the CVS contract since SO many of us have run into the same off-the-chart rude, insolent, arrogant behavior and retribution. read more

This CVS is a good CVS. I like their selection of Amy's soups. Sometimes ice cream selection could be better. The snack selection is above and beyond The cold/flu section could be better stocked There's a small selection of dog items which is great when milkbones are in are in stock The pharmacy is great when there's enough staff. Always call beforehand, if there's a long wait then that's a sign you shouldn't come in if you have a time concern. read more

If I could give 0 stars that would be generous. Yesterday I made the mistake of going there for vaccines. There was a lack of professionalism from the checking in till when I was summand by the (hey you) from the even less professional employee giving me my vaccine. I made an appointment for 2 vaccines but only got one. Not enough energy to go threw that fiasco. I have no idea were they found these two employees but they truly needed some kind of training before being let lose on their own. Shopping at the Harrison CVS for less important things can be equally maddening, shelves are like Old Mother Hubbard's. Sadly this is my neighborhood drug store. After yesterday for no reason will I return, for even a candy bar. read more

Conveniently located on the corner of SW 4th & Harrison, I'm thrilled to have a CVS in the neighborhood. Sometimes you just want to run in a smaller store to pick up an item or two without having to wander the aisles of a box grocery store. CVS meets this need! Store is new so it's still clean and organized! They even have hand sanitizer which is a huge plus in these times! The rest is typical drugstore; there are sections for personal care, make-up, shampoos, lotions, over the counter meds, candy & snacks, cold beverages, items for the baby, and a Pharmacy. Of course I had to walk past someone urinating on the street right in front of the store to get inside, but unfortunately that is the new Portland and certainly not the fault of CVS. I'm happy they moved into the neighborhood in spite of some of the neighbors. read more

Poorly stocked and a lot of the items are under lock and key. List of items that they lock up (not all inclusive): - Any frozen foods - Some laundry detergents - Batteries - Condoms/lube - DRINKS. This is a recent change. You can't get a Gatorade out of the fridge without requesting the one associate in the store to come get it for you. Not to mention the prices... I've never seen such terrible price gouging. Everything is double the price compared to Target, Amazon, etc. A 4-pack of batteries for $10?!? A 12 pack of regular condoms for $18?!? My most recent visit saw me waiting 10 minutes for an associate to come unlock the fridge so that I could get a Gatorade. I eventually walked out and saw the associate standing at the front gawking at the store security clean up some random trash on the ground. I'll never come here again. read more

I live a block away from this store and it's truly such a bummer that a pharmacy servicing a university and a densely populated downtown cannot manage to stock their shelves. Seems like a plague amongst large corps attempting to "combat" theft in the area. They sell THE bare minimum (unless you want seasonal candy) but THANKFULLY there's a great convenience store a few buildings down and it's *locally owned.* Not forgetting to mention life-sustaining/every day necessities such as BABY FORMULA are locked up. I don't receive prescriptions here, thankfully, so can't comment too much on that. Load of crap establishment and it really sucks for people who don't have a better option to purchase meds and other necessities. read more

Mother of all that is good! Get more staff for your pharmacy, this poor tech working alone does not deserve this! Came yesterday after waiting the entire day to make sure my antibiotics were filled. I got here waited 20 minutes only to be told he did not have time. This poor tech needed help! I am back this am around 1230 and the line is backed up throughout the store. read more

I'm a student at PSU and as many of my readers know, I complain frequently about how expensive everything is around campus. This CVS provides a great alternative to all the overpriced bodegas and "upscale" grocery stores that are in the area, and of course has a pharmacy. Most of the food is processed junk, but sometimes I just need something to tide me over until class is over and I can go home and make real food. This is a brand new store and it is super clean, and perhaps my favorite part of the store is that it has self-checkout! One of the things I miss about living in NYC was having a CVS or Duane Reade nearby, and this fills in that need in a very retail-sparse part of Downtown. Also, don't forget to join their rewards card, as it has a lot of perks and loadable coupons. read more

This pharmacy is dangerously inept. They have never succeeded in filling any of the 4 prescriptions for either my wife or myself. Most recently i was getting an antibiotic and when I got to the pharmacy was told by the young lady who seemed really frustrated with all of us customers, that she was "a week behind" on filling her prescriptions. Maybe I could get this one tomorrow or maybe...She just sort of trailed off. I mean she had people with seizure medications and other like that she still hadn't filled. She was alone behind the pharmacy counter but when there have been 3 people behind the counter and they still didn't fill prescriptions so... read more

Beyond terrible! I don't blame the staff, they are always short handed & most are doing their best so it's management that needs to own the blame here. I have YET to have a smooth check out experience since shopping there and only continue doing so out of convenience since I live nearby. Prices at the register rarely match the tags in the store, especially when something is on sale. So far the staff has done the right thing and honored the advertised price, but come on! Poor customer service. I made appointment for a flu shot. I arrived a few minutes early. A walk in customer was ahead of me for a flu shot. The staff could not find the info for my appointment. I showed the my email confirmation. Even with the appointment, staff said I would have to wait at least 20 minutes or more. Why bother asking me to make an appointment if you are not going to honor it. Staff said " That's just the way we do it!" Poor service. I left and went elsewhere. read more

My son showed up on time for his appointment for a covid booster. He was denied the vaccine because he has medicaid. Pharmacy does not answer their phones. I got the manager and the Oregon Pharmacy board involved. read more
