*** DO NOT fill your tank at this gas station ***
If you must go, make sure you specify exactly how much you want to put in your tank. If you ask for a fill, they hold a $300 charge from your bank. Then once done, it's doesn't adjust to the amount you use. They keep it pending for a few days, so the owner can earn interest on your money. What a shitty way to run a business!
Unfortunately, I needed to get gas fast, and instead of driving a few block down, I had the misfortune of pulling in here instead.
At other gas stations (my 2 preferred our Costco and 76 just down the road), they pull $100 and once done pumping, it readjusts to what you spend. Happens everywhere but here.
My little Subaru Impreza usually doesn't even break $50 on a fill. Not sure what vehicles come through needing $300 worth of gas.
Thank God I didn't need the $300 right away, or I'd be screwed. I believe it's against the law not to post how much will be temporarily taken out of your bank. May have to check that out with the state.
Needless to say, that's the first and last time I'll ever get gas here. read more
