I went into the mart to attempt to pay but no one was at the register and there was 1 person in front of me and I merely asked him if anyone was working. Phyllis then comes walking from another area of the store yelling that they were servicing the men's restroom. Phyllis proceeds to give the guy in from of me annoyingly nice "thank you's" for being patient and starts making passive aggressive comments to the customer that is in front of me how people / but they are referring to me need to slow down and be patient and the world doesn't work at your whim and something to that affect. I go off, and tell them that they are out of line for talking about me to the guy in front of me. They lie and say they were not talking about me then when I get upset they then refuse to serve me, which is fine bc I would not trust or want to deal with this establishment after tonight's encounter. I'm a black woman and she and the other customer white. The other customer was an innocent bystander but she was out of line. I believe there was definitely some racial bias going on, and I'm no saint bc I call her all types of deserving names besides Phyllis. They can take their racist ass out of customer service bc it you have someone working for your company that literally picks a fight with a paying customer and then refuse service when they are called on their bullshit is ridiculous. This has been my go-to gas station for over a decade until today. I asked for only $20 fill, but the employee ignored my request and decided to fill up my tank. When I called him over to stop, he told me that I should have done it myself. Then he said he only heard $40, not twenty, but it was already over $40. He won't even give me a receipt and walked away. His name is Jim. He lied to my face, laughed, then said I can't do anything to him because I handed him my credit card. I didn't know that giving my credit card to a Chevron employee meant they could charge whatever they wanted. If I am on TV on my way home and need gas this is where I stop. The employees are friendly and fast to help you and to start the gas. However the cherry on top is that they ask to clean your windshields about 90% of the time. Most gas stations have the windshield cleaning station but rarely do they do it for you. The pricing is normally compared to arco it is expensive but compared to 76 is normal. read more

The Aloha Chevron is one of my go to gas stations on the way home. It has some of the best prices if not the best prices in the area. Recently, the owners made a major upgrade by adding extra mile station. This is a convenience shop where most of the nice amenities you could want while driving a car are available. The new extra mile station is clean, and usually staffed with enough people to meet your needs quickly. It looks like the extra mile stations recently started serving Seattle's best coffee. Either way, if you need your quick, junkfood fix, the store will have what you need. The only drawback to this location is its location. Access to this particular gas station is challenging. If you're going west it is better to simply pull in the middle turn lane and pull a U-turn. Traffic on Tualatin Valley Hwy. is intense. You need to keep your eyes peeled at all times because it is a very challenging turn when going west. The flow of traffic through the gas station is from west to east. Be mindful of this when entering the station. The nice part about the flow is that when you're done getting your gas you can pull forward and pick up something at the extra mile station! I have always had excellent service by the gas station attendants. They are quick courteous and driven to get you through the line rapidly. Occasionally, I will get my windshield washed if they are slow on customers. This is an occasional occurrence but it is also a nice tip or a nice perk when pulling into pick up my gas. Attendant scratched my car while pumping gas and upper management is shady. I work nearby and went to get gas on my break around 5:50AM on a Saturday only to find a large deep scratch above the fuel tank door. I noticed the damage as soon as I returned to work as the gas tank door is on the drivers side and the door tends to pop open when I use the alarm. I contacted the management and after weeks of milking the situation, I get a voice mail stating that they did nothing to my car and got "no video evidence" of what I'm claiming they did. I have now to deal with the $1400 damage they caused and have yet to involve my insurance. Be smart people, don't do business with shady people! No more Chevron for me. read more

This is one of the hardest gasoline stations to get to. The alley is narrow, you could barely fit your fat car. But for what the difficulty is, it pays off buy having the cheapest gas in the area. Don't forget to use your turn signals or you might as well call your insurance agent. Getting out could be a hassle too if you don't know how to drive well. This Chevron used to consistently be the cheapest gas station in the area. Now it seems that the Chevron near 170th is matching their prices. There are just two lanes which is nice because traffic is one way only. People with gas tanks on the left side of their car line up on the right side of the line of pumps while the people with tanks on the right side of their car line up on the other side (this line is usually shorter - that's us pulling in before you, suckas!). One drawback of this location is it's size and location. It's crammed onto a skinny plot of land between TV Highway and the train track on the southwest corner of 185th and TV Highway and you can only enter if you are heading east. Then, when you pull out it is often hard to turn left on 185th. Also, the line to get in often spills onto TV Highway and blocks traffic. (I think that's why we usually fill up at the 170th instead now.) Another drawback is that they really like to top off your tank. This is a practice that is frowned upon as being bad for the environment and your wallet. I understand that not everyone comes here to get air in their tires, but today that's all I came here for. With that said, never mind my ranting if you don't have tires. For those of us that do, you may respect the fact that I had to go to O'reilly's across the street to get parts to fix this gas station's air compressor. You may be asking yourself, "why doesn't management have a system for fixing broken hoses?" Well they do, and they have been slowly adding duct tape to the line over the last year. I went to Mr. "all smiles and no solutions" and said that I now have less air in my tire than I arrived with, and now my rig isn't able to leave his gas station. This is when I heard a lot of things that he can't do and not a thing about how he was planning to fix the situation. The kind lady behind the counter mentioned how she had been trying to get maintenance to fix the issue. It seems that women have no voice in this establishment. Instead of putting money in their machine and hoping that my ninja grip could hold 200 psi in the hose to lift my limping E350 from the ground, I walked 200 feet to O'reillys and bought some hose clamps. What a novel concept! Manager smiles left to pick up his kids 5 minutes ago and Bumblefock McCheeserolls, the fat attendant, refused to turn on the pump without management holding his hand. I had enough faith in my repair job to feed their machine 4 quarters and attempt to raise my van from the dead. it worked. I'd like to thank you for reading this, if there's one thing I learned, it is to not trust management to problem solve, they wont even ask about your schedule if they need to pick up their kids from the babysitter, and that they should listen to the lady behind the counter once in a while. And one more thing... don't patch an air compressor with duct tape at a gas station that you represent, then tell your customers "tough luck" when they need to use that service to keep their rigs on the road. Oregon does gasoline fill-ups right. I can say I'm moving to Oregon to retire as the full service is the way to go. I found the guys working here to be the happiest guys I've ever met pumping gas. Maybe they're smelling too much gas? Got the best treatment at a gas station I've ever had so I would not hesitate to recommend coming here for a fill up. I've been coming here for over a year. Never any issues, have always had a quick in & out. Now moving to the area, this is (well, it WAS) my go-to gas stop. Sometimes I'd pop in for a coffee, or a lil' munchie or two. Surprise one of my guy's kids with a KitKat, toss in aTwix for me. I like the crunch of the Whatchacallit, but nothing beats a bag of Reese's pieces, however, I digress. I started to notice a few months back, my regular attendants, who I enjoy tipping, weren't around anymore, the workers that were there were always huddled by the trash cans, smoking cigarettes ignoring cars. Often there is a guy there, in a security uniform, who is just sitting and smoking. I also started to see a lot more of 'Matt'. The thin heavily tattooed man who wears glasses. He's fairly fast, but no customer service. No hello, please or thank you's. No window washing or even asking how my day is. When he takes my Safeway number, he's quick to shout "Hold On! Did I say I was ready?!" or to kinda shove the card back in my hand. He used to take the cash if it was exact, but now he won't do it. The final straw was Sunday 10/30/16. I was on my way out of town to visit out of state family. It was raining, it was early, and I needed to get air. I pulled up and as usual saw the guys smoking just outside the front door. I wanted to use the air before gas, because it's way back at the entrance, and I wasn't sure how I'd loop back to get air, then turn around again to leave through the exit. It's not a small station, but it's sort of a one way set up, especially if it's full. It wasn't fully crowded, but there were some early morning riders filling up at 5 stations. Matt stood by a van gas tank, I asked if I could ask him a quick question. Look, I was being a little lazy. I didn't want to walk in the rain to the front, ask them to turn on the air, only to walk back, use it in rain then walk BACK up again to pay cash for gas, even suited up. It was pouring. So, just under the awning, I asked Matt for help. He just stood there, stared at me. I walked a little closer, asked again nothing. Again. He then shouted back annoyed, "What is the question?" I knew he had heard me and not answered me. He just stood at the van looking right at me. I walked back to my car, seeing this wouldn't be an easy thing as intended, in the pouring rain to just ask him face to face, I sighed, smiled & said, "Dude. Could you hear me?" Replies, "Yes." Me, "I was waiting for you to answer me, I could have waited if you said too. I didn't mean to interrupt. Can you help me or not?" Boy. He didn't like that. Matt, looked pissed. He walked away from the gal in the van, as she kept talking to him, and got pretty close to me and shouted in my face that he couldn't hear me. I said, "Hey, Matt. Please don't yell at me. Please don't get any closer to me. I asked if you were busy &you just stared at me, kept motioning to your ear like for me to ask more loudly. I apologize I didn't see you talking to someone else." He still didn't like it, because he actually lunged at me while YELLING, "You didn't ask me anything. You didn't see me working. I can't help you too. I can't do it all." I rolled my eyes and walked through the rain again, into the store. The guy "asst manager'' stood there watching the whole thing. I asked him, " Did you see that?" He says, " I saw the whole thing." I asked why he didn't come out to see what was wrong, he shrugged. I took a deep ass breath. I asked him if I could pay cash for my gas first, even though I wasn't at a pump, get the air on and do it first. He said he needed a ticket. I asked, 'What ticket? I often pay cash. Ive never had to get a "ticket".Then this kid shrugged AGAIN. I'm livid by now and soaked. I've wasted almost 20 mins here. I walk back outside, now empty Chevron station, Matt is standing there smirking. I asked, "Dude. Why didn't you tell me I needed a ticket? I told you I was trying to avoid walking 4 times in the pouring rain before a 6hr roadtrip. I just want to use the air and pay for my cash at once. Why is that a problem?" Matt again, got up in my face, this time I grabbed my mace from the corner of my purse, actually afraid he was going to get closer to my personal space, he yelled how he tried to tell me that I'd need a ticket to pay for gas & it's not his job to worry about air for "a total bitch''. I looked at him up, down & told him he was a shitty person. I turned around, walked to my car, drove off. I made a U,to hit up Chevron on the other side of TV Hwy, pulled in, crying, shaking, drenched & totally rethinking my mom's surprise birthday trip. A nice young man walked up, My OLD attendant! asked if I was ok, listen to me explain what had just happened and said, "Yes, you're not the only one. Thats why I'm here now. The service was awful. The guy didn't close my gas cap properly which turned on the check engine light two days later. I had to go to Auto zone to check the reason. The code indicated the gas pressure was not normal. Then I discovered it is the gas cap. Don't recommend Aloha Chevron. read more

After leaving a nearby school event, I stopped to get gas. One car was pulling out and other than that I was the only one there. No one was coming to the car so I wondered if it was still open. Then I see three employees standing outside the building smoking. When another car pulls in, an attendant walks right past my car to assist the other car that arrived noticeably later. Needless to say, I left and will never go back! Too bad since I will be in that area quite a bit with a child at a nearby school. Watch out for the air compressor machine! The company's equipment is not well maintained, tuned to require more money from customers than is fair, and charges excessively for the service. I tried to fill tires on a small SUV (Ford Escape) and they were only 2 pounds underinflated. It took $2.00 to fill only three of the four tires. I gave up because I wasn't going to spend another dollar on the air compressor and risk putting water into my tires. It had water in the air, which I could see coming out of the hose when I tested it after filling the third tire. Also, the running time for the compressor is too short so no one can fill tires for $1.00. It will take much more money than that. Finally, the company's website states that some of the money goes to charity, but does not disclose how much actually does. While it mentions a pledge of $100,000 per year for five years it does not show compliance with the pledge or when the program begins and ends. There is no mention of what percentage of profits this represents. It also talks a lot about profits for retailers that host the machines. If money is going to retailers, it's not going to charity.
