Tanasbourne 76 & Touchfree Car Wash

This car wash sure has gone down hill. It is a TOTAL waste of your money. its 12 dollars for a…read moreregular was h ad 14 for "the Works". On this day I chose "the works". what I got was the scraps..... they virtually missed the entire lower backside of my SUV. And the entire right rear tire. Also missed the windshield upper. What made matters worse the towel drying gentlemen were just rubbing the dirt in worse when the dried the car. What a total failure.

I will never come here again and have been coming since this car wash opened in what 1999?. I came…read morefor gas then to get a car wash and sat at the pump for 10 minutes and nothing, no signs saying it's self pump only not to mention that's not 100% legal in Oregon. I am disabled and have a brain Injury and needed help so I could add a car wash. I finally walked up to the kiosk and a young guy eating his Taco Bell said it's self serve when I said I needed help and am disabled. I hope you enjoyed your Taco Bell and I hope your employer talks to you about how to treat customers especially disabled ones, I was discriminated against and should report you to the American for disability and hey buddy not every disability can be seen. 76 just lost a long time customer and I will never come back and write this review everywhere how this place is not accessible to those with disability and it was around 11-1130am so you can know which male was working at the gas, I mean eating Taco Bell and refusing to help a disabled person. Luckily Chevron ended up being cheaper! Final straw to NEVER come back, it's bad enough car washes are $15 and you don't even get a hand dry anymore. My husband can do better and will. I would give a zero if I could. I hope the owner takes this serious because some people would file a complaint or get a lawyer no joke, you're lucky I'm not a crappy human. https://www.ada.gov/file-a-complaint/

Attendant overfills tank! According to Google AI:…read more "Overfilling a gas tank by "topping off" after the nozzle clicks can cause expensive damage (up to $1500) to your vehicle's charcoal canister and vapor recovery system, causing poor performance and check engine lights." It causes the filter to be inundated with fluid when it is only supposed to be exposed to vapor. Furthermore this is illegal in the state of Oregon as it causes the excess gas to evaporate causing an environmental hazard. Also I'm not paying $5 a gallon for gas just to evaporate it. This has happened to me twice in a matter of a week or so. The first time I was about to fill my own tank and he kinda got between me and the pump and the vibe was kinda insistent so I was like, whatever and handed him the card and walked in to the store. When I came back out I saw him clicking the pump multiple times to force more gas in. The 2nd time the attendant was nowhere to be found and I was excited because I could pump my own gas and not get overfilled, but when I came back out of the store there he was doing it again. This gas station is directly on my route from my home to the hwy, it is by far the most convenient but now I fear getting gas there as even if I pump my own gas unless I guard the pump I don't know that he won't overfill it. Also, if they are trying to rip me off this is a really stupid way to do so as profit margins on gas are slim, it's the convenience store that makes money and I *would* buy energy drinks from them every day on my way to work (my work involves driving so I buy gas every day) but now I have to go to a less convenient store so we both lose...

Recently reopened, it is so easy to get in and out of this gas station. Plenty of room for cars at…read morethe pump, service was fast even during 5:00 rush. Best of all, gas was 50 cents per gallon less than any station nearby! Always a win but more so as prices are back at the $4.89 range for regular. They have a convenience store which is neat, clean and well stocked. Did I mention gas is 40-50 cents less per gallon? That's five stars anyway you cut it.

I am now completely in on the joke! I worked for near decades right down the street from here…read more Alright, I traditionally, have always had tiny cars with great gas mileage. Even when we were the most tragic as far as the gas prices go, I was still way less at the pump than most cars since I have had 7 gallon tanks. I still tried to go back and forth between gas points pricing at Fred Meyer and my Costco membership... I refuse to negotiate getting cash to try to save money going to Arco since you then have to deal with going to (AND INTO SINCE CASH WHICH ADDS TO THE FUCK NO) and also dealing with the folks who angrily work and Arco and discover why they are so mad since you also get to deal with the other customers. I then started doing delivery driving so I am not just filling my tank a whole lot more BUT I need to watch my money more and am EVERYWHERE. Of course there are many main streets which I am often on. But I see A LOT of gas stations and notice the price differences which are pretty sizeable. There are certain gas stops which just have better prices. I filled up at what I thought was the lowest (Astro) and five minutes later I drive past Space Age which was nearly ten cents cheaper! SHOCKING... but instead of plugging in Astro first I go for Space Age. I did exactly that this time and then discovered this gas station was so close for so long that I genuinely just found the other day. Even better is that people in Oregon are not used to self serve so they all sit in line waiting for someone to do it for them. Take advantage while you can, like I did and roll right up to a self service pump and then out. Unlike Astro, they have a snack station too. I cannot report on that as I just grabbed some gas.

Cheap prices dont offset a terrible system that rarely works, and wretched customer service…read more I will pay more to not have a hassle every time I fuel up. Both myself and 2 others all had our cards declined because their system doesn't work right. Not the end of the world, but its always something here. Just go to 1 of the 3 options less than 1/4 mile away.
