I was surprised to see it tucked away in the strip and had it not been for the sign, I def would have missed it. When I first walked in, I was greeted immediately and shown to a table. I happened to be one of five people there (2 couples), so it's nice to know there are other early risers like myself. Prior to coming, I looked at the menu online so I'd have an idea of what I wanted once I went. I stuck with water and got the scrambled combo with cheddar, spinach, and green peppers. It also comes with potatoes and your choice of toast, a biscuit, or an English muffin. I got the sourdough toast. One of the plus sides to being an early riser is that the places you go aren't packed, which means you'll get your food quicker. Mine came out in record timing (then again it helps when you're 1 of 5 people there, 4 of which already have their food). The first couple bites were meh. Once I sprinkled salt and pepper, it was like the eggs and potatoes came to life! The toast was as I expected (good), then again, I have yet to taste sourdough that wasn't good. Overall, my server was kind and attentive. The vibe of the restaurant was as quiet and cozy, then then again, it could have been the fact that his was 8:15 am. Regardless, I liked it enough to want to return!

So peaceful, beautiful, and the perfect start to our morning! What truly made the experience exceptional was our server, Jenn. She was incredible from start to finish!! She was warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. She made great recommendations, checked on us at all the right times, and went above and beyond in ways you don't see often. My husband is picky about biscuits and gravy, and Jenn kindly brought him a sample of the gravy first to make sure he'd like it...such a small gesture to some people, but truly made it special for my husband. She even sent us off with coffee to go, which we really appreciated!! The food was just as impressive. I had the traditional breakfast. Everything was cooked perfectly, the potatoes were nice and crispy, Jenn recommended the ham, which was so flavorful and perfectly charred, so good!!! My husband ended up loving his biscuits and gravy! Between the amazing service, delicious food, and relaxing riverfront setting, this was easily one of our favorite breakfast experiences. Jenn truly made it memorable, and we'll definitely be asking for her every time we come back. Can't wait to return!!

What a cute gem in St. Charles! Another spot I had been wanting to visit for a while and although…read moreit was very hot this morning, we made our way! Not a lot of parking, but lots of street parking and it's in a very walkable neighborhood. This place is order first, and then find a seat! And there is plenty of seating inside and in their covered patio! They have the menus all up front for you: breakfast and lunch, kid's menu, and drink menu. We ordered: Croque Madame Crepe - standard crepe, but w all the croque Madame fixings! The ham was soo good in this The Lake Bake - poached eggs on HASH BROWNS! Great seasoning on the potatoes. Just Cheese Flatbread - my 3 year old loved it! Orange Juice Cold Brew w milk Apple Juice I loved our breakfast! It was simple and filling! The atmosphere here is so lovely so I recommend visiting. It is also huge space. The further you go in, the more seating there is and a covered patio as well! The breakfast we ordered didn't come with any sides but it was still very filling and big portions! My son loved his flatbread. The staff here was also super nice!

The space itself is so cute, it's very intentional and aesthetic. The pink stripes, ceiling clouds, plant paintings on the wall make it so unique. They have a pretty extensive menu, and I ordered a Garden Muse salad and it was delicious. I'm really simple and when it comes to salads, as long as the ingredients are fresh I'm happy. This hit the nail on the head. I added chicken and that made it super filling. The dressing wasn't sweet (which I prefer) and it's safe to say this is one of my new favorite salads :) I also ordered one of the latte specials which was a birthday cake latte. They were accommodating with my order of half sweet, and it was so good! I can't wait to come back for brunch! I'm already looking forward to it.

If there was an order counter for the outside and a host at the front, maybe a lot of issues with walk-ins could be eliminated. Because we were not familiar with this restaurant and literally came here on a whim, we had to order take out. It didn't take too long for our order to come out, maybe 20 minutes. The service here is okay, and I don't know if the nature of it being busy takes away from the service or the team that day was just over it! Our food was pretty good, but if you get the chance to eat there, it would be better straight from the kitchen! The cinnamon roll and fried egg sandwich were probably the best items. I think their latte was pretty good which had a lovely cold foam and strawberry! Definitely, if you have time to spare and want a very specific experience, try this space! Just be ready to wait a while!

They offer a beautiful pastry case full of delicious homemade treats. I grabbed a cinnamon roll because they were flying out of the case while I waited! The roll was tender and full of delicious cinnamon sugar topped with a cream cheese frosting. They offer a generous breakfast menu of sandwiches, breakfast plates, and omelettes. Again, I prefer savory to sweet and decided on a chicken salad sandwich. The croissant was nice and flaky and crispy. The chicken salad was well seasoned and paired perfectly with a juicy tomato slice and iceberg lettuce. MeMe's does offer a variety of hot and iced coffee. The milk selections are limited. I also found the coffee to be too sweet for my tastes. I'll have them add a lot less sweetener next time. Prefer hot coffee? They offer a small bar of sweeteners and flavored creamer to customize your coffee. All in all a delightful experience. The food and service are great.
