I saved my money and planned on buying a TV Christmas snow globe two weeks ago. I was told I could get it at employee discount price because it's $100 and no one's buying it. I went to try to buy it and the manager told me "no" and then went and stood by me and stalked me as I looked at the snow globe I may buy still because I like it a lot. I told her that I didn't like her standing there, she told me I can leave if I don't like it , assuming I might steal it, because she's the manager. I was going to spend money there but she called security on me and me and my son had to walk out because she also threatened me with the police. For absolutely NO reason. Assuming I'm a thief for a snow globe NO ONE BUYS. I was treated horribly, bullied, she had no reason for what she was doing other than me wanting her away from my private space in which she took offense because she wanted to stalk me as I walked around the store. My son and I used to spend a lot of money here. We will never go to this location another day in our life. I hope the owner knows the manager is doing a great job at losing money, customers, gaining bad reviews, harassing and threatening a regular customer. She should be fired for being an abusing her power as manager at her own accord and harassing a customer and not respecting my private boundaries. The manager here is a disgrace. Don't give this place any of your money and let that snow globe keep rotting on the shelves because the manager obviously wants too.

My sister got an iced toffee latte and I got a boring decaf black coffee. (Hahah) I was wondering if I was actually poured decaf because while sipping it in the thrift shop, I felt REALLY jittery. Like... bad. It was good and strong but I don't know if it was decaf. My sister liked her drink. Price: I think my sister paid $8-something for both. Hers was $6+. I don't get fancy coffee much so I don't know if that's normal or whatnot.

The eggs were obviously cooked on a flat top, and they had a nice texture to them. The hash browns had a bit too much butter for me - i had to over season them because they were soggy. My only other complaint was the amount of flies buzzing around. Other than that, it exceeded my expectations. I am glad I didn't judge this book by its cover.

Now let's talk about the important thing. The coffee. They have a coffee, hot or iced called the 'Sweet Bourbon Brew'. I figured I was unlikely to get freshly roasted coffee with bourbon syrup from the nearby distillery anywhere else and went for it. It is AMAZING. I would come back just for this. Now, the restaurant itself. Live music on a Saturday morning. Kitschy, eclectic decor that was obviously quite intentional, and a DOLLY PARTON CORNER that has obviously existed for quite some time. Their motto appears to be a Dolly Parton quote. "If you see someone without a smile give them one of yours". Yes. It's that kind of place. Whatever homemade seasoned butter they use deserves special recognition--it added so much flavor and made an already great sandwich even better. Of course, the dessert case was impossible to ignore. Everything looked incredible, and choosing was no easy task. We finally settled on a pecan brownie and a sea-salt chocolate chip gooey butter cake slice. Both were fantastic, but the gooey butter cake completely stole the show. Hands-down, it was the absolute best gooey butter cake I have ever had--and I've tried many from plenty of bakers over the years. This single slice may have changed my outlook on life. They've set the bar so high that I honestly don't know how anyone else could top it. Warmed up just as the owner suggested, it was melt-in-your-mouth perfection with a tender, flaky crust and incredible flavor. Absolutely phenomenal. We will definitely be back again--and you should go too!
