We were not allowed to sit until our fifth member arrived. Fine. We stood in the entrance. But my sister is in her late '50s and was overcome by heat from the walk. She sat down briefly so she wouldn't throw up and so she could catch her breath. The young woman running the restaurant immediately ordered all of us out. We appealed to her compassion, but she kept quoting The Rules, and insisted we leave. This had been one of our favorite restaurants in Hermann until today. My sister left in tears, humiliated, and struggled to get back to our rental. She is still crying. And thankfully did not collapse on the sidewalk from heat stroke. I will never forgive the young woman or Ainsley's for treating my sister badly. Shame on you. Shame on you. Shame on you.

We went on Saturday morning for brunch. The feel of the restaurant is upbeat and modern. They were busy but the service was amazing despite being busy. My husband got the breakfast chimichanga and it was amazing. Perfectly cooked and unique breakfast plate. I got the crepes and they were absolutely amazing. They might have been able to use a little more filling but it could've gotten too sweet then so it evens out. Our waitress was really good, stayed on top of refills etc. we had our baby with us and she was so sweet and caring towards our little one in the high chair. We will definitely be back! read more
