Cherry on Top was decent. I came here after dinner with my husband. I wasn't really greeted by anyone, but there was a large group in there and the girl working there seemed a little overwhelmed. I was looking all over the place and trying to figure out how to get sample cups, when I just decided to just go for it. I got some of the pomegranate raspberry, tart, and cake batter flavors with captain crunch, cheesecake, and baby m&m toppings. My favorite topping is the cookie dough bites, but they were out so I was kind of bummed about that. The girl in front who was working was pleasant when she rang me up. The taste was good--not amazing, but good. The pomegranate raspberry sorbet had good flavor, but the texture was kind of odd. It was bubbly (almost like they made the sorbet with a carbonated drink like Izze). The tart was a very good flavor. The cake batter almost tasted a little like their banana cream pie flavor, which I thought was strange (they were right next to each other in the store). All in all, it was good. I suppose I might come back if I'm in the area and craving froyo. read more

went to get some froyo and the flavor I got tasted expired and gross so I went to tell the girl working the cashier and she went to get her "boss" and then the boss tried the flavor and said it's good and made me try it again and it was gross and she told me next time don't get that flavor and didn't offer me anything else so I had to throw it away and she didn't offer me a new one. horrible she was rude. read more

Despite the fact that our state is under a mandatory masking/face covering order, we visited Cherry on Top tonight to see a family of six with no masks. To make matters worse, the children were putting their faces level with the toppings and touching the bar. We left without yogurt. When you enforce health guidelines and show that you care about your staff and your customers, we will consider returning. read more

OMG!! Don't even bother and waste your money. There is trash all over the front of the store and the side walk just to get in the store. I went to get plane tart and strawberry came out. The signs were switched. Not a big deal. Then went to the strawberry to get the tart and it came out in frozen clumps. The girl tried to fix it and then it came out like water. I waited a minute to see if it would get better and it did a little bit. There were hardly any toppings and it just seemed dirty. Went to my car to eat it and it just turned into a watery looking mess and tasted horrible. Went straight to the dumpster in the parking lot and tossed it. Wasted $14!!!Now sure what happened to this place. We used to come all the time and now I will never go back. read more

Just left Cherry on Top (in Orangecrest), and had such a great experience. The owner was kind and welcoming. The establishment was super clean as well! She provided gloves and allowed customers the right to choose if they wanted to wear masks or not (she was wearing a mask). It was very refreshing to have that choice! The owner is super rude to the kids that walk from the high school! I get it there are some bad kids out there, but when my daughter and two friends asked to go to yogurt after their practice of course I said yes. They walked in and asked for a sample, the owner was super rude and told them "well are you going to buy something?" Then was super irritated and annoyed. All of the girls felt unwelcome. From four stars to two. That's a slippery slope you're on, Cherry on Top. And let me tell you how you lose customers. I went there not too long ago -- expecting the same level of quality and yogurt consistency that I had raved about in my last review. To my disappointment, the yogurt was almost runny -- just barely "frozen" -- and no, I will NOT 'let it go' (excuse the pun). I mentioned this runny yogurt situation this to their ONE employee, who was managing the toppings station, handing out sample cups, and working the register. This location is so very understaffed that I felt bad this worker. Anyhow, the employee went to the back of the machines and turned the frozen yogurt maker to "super cool", or whatever she did. It took about 5 minutes, and even though she had to put on multiple hats in making sure this store didn't fall apart, she remembered my request and gave me a sample cup taste of the supposedly colder, firmer, yogurt. Honestly, I felt like I was eating yoplait out of the sample cup... not solid, but runny. "THIS ISN'T FROZEN YOGURT!" I yelled, as I hulk smashed the sample cups out of her hands... I'm SO kidding-- that didn't happen. But that's how disappointed I was. Never am I coming back to this location. I'd rather go to the Cherry on Top located in the Riverside Plaza who has: Better yogurt consistency and more than one worker manning the shop. read more

I really hope management sees this review because I think it will help them out. It was 9:02 on a Monday when I came in. I checked their hours in advance and it said they closed at 10. I thought it was peculiar that the shopped looked like it was closed when I came in and I didn't want to be rude since sometimes yelp makes mistakes on hours of operations. So I asked the employee working what time they closed and she said 10 but said , "they were closed now because it was slow". After seeing my look of confusion she told us that we could buy yogurt still but just couldn't sit inside since all the chairs were up. I didn't mind though since we were taking it togo anyway but damn I guess? I've seen shops close maybe 10-20 minutes maximum due to slow business but a whole hour? How slow was it?? lol. The crazy thing is that while we were in there 3 more parties showed up for yogurt and who knows how many other parties came after we left. If I was owner, I wouldn't want to be losing out on customers for a full hour and also wouldn't want to lose future customer's who might contemplate on going to this place 30 minutes before close or what not because of my false advertising. The yogurt itself wasn't bad and they have a new dole whip flavor like the one you get at disneyland.The toppings weren't that good and they all looked stale. However the prices are pretty ridiculous for the quality overall, I got a handful of yogurt and two scoops of mochi and strawberry and it came out to $5.00. My friend got something that came out to 9 $ and some change and I was astounded cause it didn't even look that big. For this price I would rather go to pinkberry it is much better quality. Also they require you to spend 5$ or more if you're using card so I guess regardless you're spending 5 $. I usually judge my stars as 1 star meaning I'll never come back and 2 stars at maybe I come back if I was desperate. I originally had this review at 2 stars but after writing my review I realized I wouldn't come back to this place because of all the reasons above. The frozen yogurt is good. They have a variety of different flavors and toppings. I have been here several times and our experience has been pretty positive every time. Unfortunately this location does not accept the gift cards that are sold at other Cherry On Top locations. I find this extremely inconvenient as I had purchased several gift cards for teacher gifts, only to find out they would not be honored here. Part of the advantage of purchasing from a franchise establishment is the convenience for the gift recipient to be able to choose a location close to their home to visit. I'm not saying I will never return to Cherry On Top, however this annoyance has definitely kept me away all summer. There are plenty of other frozen yogurt/Ice Cream shops to choose from. read more

Very good frozen yogurt shop. The toppings are excellent. Big brownies, not little teeny ones. Really good cookie dough balls, big chocolate chip cookies. Outside seating on a warm night. No complaints. My wife really like the divider feature. Two different flavors in one dish at no extra charge? Pretty cool. And she also loved the strawberry shortcake flavor. Came here last week with my family! First thing I noticed was the staff was extremely friendly and the location was super clean! Nice, bright decor! Very cute place. Another self serve frozen yogurt place. Various fun flavors, toppings, syrups, and sauces. Pretty good, not a bad find... our kids loved it. So I have to give a 1 star because the owner was training but when we walked in she didn't say hi, or how r u! She didn't explain how it works or if we can get samples she kept on with her convo, hmmmm!!! So we got a cup and put the yogurt inn and paid, but then when other people came in she said hi! I'm sorry I'm training someone new and explained in detail how everything worked and how this is for my diabetics!!! Honey guess what!!!!! Other people of diffrent races have money to spend too and u shouldn't treat anybody who is diffrent looking than you less!!!
