Ate here for the first time and have nothing but great things to say. Had to wait a few minutes for a seat on a Friday night, but beat expectations by a long shot. Server was friendly, kind, and attentive. We did not have to ask for anything such as refills, condiments, etc., our server was on top of it. The Green Chile Cheese Fries were a great appetizer and complimented our burgers well. We both had 1/2 lb. burgers with various toppings. The burgers were absolutely delicious, cooked perfectly to order. I was eating with a friend I hadn't seen in years, and despite it being busy, the space between tables gave us enough space to talk and be heard by one another, but privacy was still there. One sign of a well run restaurant is the manager walking the dining room and talking to guests, and there definitely was one in this case. He stopped by our table with a smile and genuine concern for how our visit was. It's easy to look at the menu and think it may be a little pricier than an Applebee's or a Chili's, but the quality and the service alone are worth the $2 to $3 more per person you may pay for your meal. Will definitely return. Lots of places to eat these days, so when I find a good one, will stick to it. read more

Next I ordered the Cry Baby Burger which I absolutely loved, minus the crostini bread slices which were part of the sandwich, they were just to tough and gummy to bite through. One of my go to spots in my neighborhood. The staff is amazing! Love playing darts too! The burgers are tops! I love being able to customize them - the topping choices are endless! Very creative burgers and perfect family spot! I loved the burger of the month which had brie, bacon, honey peach jam, wontons, and arugula with a peach balsamic drizzle. Very messy but incredibly tasty and also came with fries (unlike the other burgers which are separate). The cry baby was good as well and also messy. I will say the patty itself is nothing remarkable, it's the toppings and sauces that make them so great. The also have the option to create your own burger with an extensive selection of toppings and sauces The fries and tater tots could have been crispier. Service was good. This is our second visit after the last disastrous experience in the fall where our server didn't put our order in and we didn't get our food for an hour. Excellent service, comforting ambiance, good food, somewhat high prices. I would definitely return as its a chill spot especially for groups. I just wish their prices were a bit lower. The food is pretty good, but I'm not sure it's worth the price. I had the poblano burger, frings, and their version of spicy mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks and the pepper jam they came with were without a doubt my favorite thing. The frings were alright and my burger surprisingly lacked flavor. It wasn't bad by any means, but with all of the toppings on it, I expected a lot more flavor. Overall a nice place and I see why they've been around for so long! read more

I went here on a business lunch and having been to the Denver location my expectations were pretty well aligned. If you like the location in Denver you will like this location too. Something about this restaurant just doesn't do it for me. It feels expensive for what you get and every burger on the menu feels like the topping variety is just for the purpose of having different choices but none of them are executed well. Not bad just bland. Everything else on the menu such as the fries and onion rings feel like the level you would get a Bad Daddy's or another chain burger place. All just okay. Server was in training but both the person training her and the server in training were incredibly friendly. My partner told me about Cherry Cricket's burgers but Cherry Creek was too far so when we heard a location was opening up north, we were excited to give it a try. The space is quite large. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Service was friendly. Good came out quick. Overall, pretty good first impression. The burger was my favorite thing that we had. There were lots of burgers on the menu that sounded really good but I went with the Vera Cruz and it was delicious. Each bite was full of flavor and each bite contained a little bit of everything. Very tasty. My partner ordered the soup which was okay - it had a lot of stuff in it that we ran out of the liquid part of the soup so it felt like a dip. The salad was pretty tasty as well. We could've done a side order of fries instead of the shareable ones. But we will be back when we are craving a burger. read more

I will fully admit that I've become addicted to this place in the last few weeks. The burgers are just really solid, and there are so many toppings and ways to customize. The onion rings + steak fries are always a hit, I don't even like onion rings normally but I'm addicted to theirs. I was really excited to see the new location of Cherry Cricket, so close to me! We stopped by on a Sunday night and the place was hoppin'! We were seated immediately and then greeted quickly. The service was fantastic even though they were quite busy. We started out with the pretzels and queso appetizer. It was delicious. The queso was so fantastical. I mean I kept the tiny bit left over to scoop up with fries, lol! It has a great cheesy flavor, bacon bits, and a wonderful texture. I ordered the big cheesy and it was amazing. There's Mac n cheese and cheesy jalapeno Cheetos on it... Need I say more? I will say the burger was slightly more cooked then medium but it was still yummy. But with that being said, this is still a burger place and so when I expect and order a medium cooked burger, I do expect to receive that. We also got the creme brulee cheesecake and a chocolate milkshake with Reese's PB cups to share and those were both bomb dot com! All in all, I will definitely return based on the whole experience! This is a great casual spot to watch sports, bring a group, or grab some food with your family (kid-friendly). They also have a great daily happy hour from 2-5 and again from 10-12. They have patio seating / outdoor seating when the weather is nice. There is a full bar with lots of beer on tap, wine, and an extensive cocktail list. The interior of the Broomfield location is spacious. I'd describe Cherry Cricket as Denver's take on a sports bar. The menu has traditional bar food, but also some southwestern classics like green chili, enchiladas, tacos, etc. Cherry Cricket burgers have won awards for their unique flavor combinations. For example, I ordered a 720 Jammin Poblano which was 1/2 pound cricket burger, pimento cheese, pork belly, crispy poblano, and cherry pepper raspberry sauce. It was a very tasty, unique burger. There is the option to make your own burger, chicken sandwich, impossible burger, hot dog, and bison burger. Our server did a good job helping us to navigate the menu and make recommendations for our group. The menu is expansive here and they have options for gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian and non-dairy folks. I took my dad out for his birthday before the big holiday weekend rush. I hadn't ever been to the Cherry Cricket and I thought we would give it a try. It was a late lunch and the place had a smattering of guest. We were seated right away. It took roughly about 15 mins or more before the server came over to greet us. This set the tone for the entire meal as we would find that our server was M.I.A. the majority of the time. We had to ask other for our forgotten items and spent extra time after the meal waiting for the server to reappear in order to pay. The food itself was generally meh. I ordered a hamburger with smoked cheddar and bacon with a side of fries and a strawberry milkshake. The burger was okay, really salty and felt like a leftover from the lunch rush. The fries were typical and the shake wasn't bad but they went too heavy on the syrup. The shakes didn't arrive till halfway through the food portion which was weird. Honestly given the price and the state of the food and service, I would rather go to In and Out Burger any day. read more

Our first visit to Cherry Cricket Broomfield- the vibes are super fun and laid back, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is tasty! I really appreciate the variety of burgers and sizes. My husband ordered the cricket size and I got a little cricket- perfect sized for everyone! I also like the shared sides which makes it a bit easier to avoid over ordering. The spiked milkshakes are super delicious even if a bit pricey for the size you get. Our party tried some of the burgers and Mexican food and everyone enjoyed what they got. On this evening we enjoyed the Cherry Cricket classic cheeseburger and the The Big Cheesy burger; who would have thought that a 1/2 lb burger with mac n cheese, fried chili pepper, and fiery Hot CHEETOS would taste SO GOOD! An award winning burger! We were so full that we requested the Green Chili be put in a quart to go for another meal! Came here excited as we have been to the original but unfortunately food and service fell flat for us. We sat for a while waiting to have a server come to the table but we understood it was a busy time but waiting 15 minutes to have a server cone greet us at the table was a lot. We have been loyal patrons at the Cherry Creek location for over a decade and are ecstatic that there is now a location up north. We were a bit weary at first since the Ballpark location disappointed us, but the food is still delicious and the service is still great in Broomfield! Build your own burger with any toppings you desire or choose from the list of their award winning burgers. We love the newly done patio/outdoor area. The space is really opened up, bright and airy and doesn't feel crowded or cramped even when every table is full. There are cornhole boards and a fire pit where you can have drinks and socialize. Both adult and kid-friendly. The entire space feels so different than the Old Chicago that was once in this building. Each time we've been, it has been packed. Join the waitlist on your way in to lessen the wait time. You may have to park across the street in a different lot because their parking lot gets full. They've only been open for a short time so there were some kinks, but nothing major, and I'm sure everything will be running smoothly in a few months. read more

This location was previously an Old Chicago but they have changed the vibe and made it their own, love the family friendly outdoor area and the location is convenient to the north suburbs. They did a good job with the restaurant but does not have that same coziness as the one downtown but probably hardly a fair comparison! The burger was cooked perfectly medium rare and the onions rings were as good as I remembered from the one downtown. I have always wanted to go to this place but it's been on the other side of town. They finally opened up a restaurant near me. Me and the wife went there for lunch, and the place was amazing. TVs were playing all the sports that were on at the time. We sat in the bar for lunch, the bartender was our waitress and she did a fantastic job with us.
