A nice little area around the block. The drinks are delicious. I got myself a Thai tea with coconut jelly. I love going here whenever I have a chance with my sisters and friends, the service is great.

Very cute little place with some extra goodies in the window you can pick from. The service is amazing sweet lady and the drinks are fantastic! My daughter and I loved the drinks so much we forgot to take pictures of the drinks

A little hole in the wall kinda place. You just place the order at the window and there are couple chairs to sit while you wait. The drinks came fast and they were very refreshing. Definitely one of the better boba places in this area, in terms of the drink itself. There are other cute Asian snacks on display that you could purchase too.

Yummmm! I finally checked this place out and I'm in love. The flavors are so unique and the tea taste is so present. The ambience reminds me a lot of Taiwan. We ordered the peanut butter coffee and banana milk tea (half sweet) with boba. Both had distinct, delicious flavors. The banana milk tea wasn't cloyingly sweet and reminded me of candy I had when I was younger. I think we should've gotten the peanut butter coffee half sweet, but it was still wonderful. The boba was also super good; it was chewy even in cold drinks! Price is a little up there, but well worth it for quality boba at a family owned place. Great service and drinks. Will definitely be back to try more flavors and toppings!!!

So I was heading to Super Mercado Mexico next door when I noticed this boba shop on google maps. I guess my curiosity led me to some delicious boba. What's good: - Both the Jasmine and regular milk teas are sooooooooooo good. The tea flavor is pleasant, the milk is creamy but not overly creamy, 50% sweetness actually meant 50% sweet, and the boba was chewy. - Super friendly people here! - The boba only comes in a large :) - What more can you want from a boba shop!

This charming, family owned boba shop deserves a spot on the map! They are from Taiwan-the birthplace of boba, and take immense pride in what they do. This becomes apparent in the care they take in crafting your beverage and the no gimmick way their shop is set up. It's no frills, just an authentic boba experience from two very sweet and extremely welcoming ladies. I ordered the original milk tea and taro milk tea at 100% sweetness and both were top contenders for best in the area compared to the likes of franchise places such as T4, Kung Fu Tea, Sharetea...etc. The tea flavor is perfectly robust without being overbearing. It complements well with the milk and sweetness. While 100% sweetness may be a tad too much for my personal liking, it is customizable so you can adjust accordingly. Fun fact: there's a picture of their original shop in Taiwan's Huaxi Street Night Market posted at the entrance...you really can't get more authentic than this!

A hole in the wall find! Super friendly family run and operated bubble tea shop. Always positive and great attention to the customers. I love how this place reminds me of Taiwan and China town in New York City. Their sign says it all. :) The drinks were great. Lots of options and ways to enjoy it. Over ice or blended. I got the blended passionfruit milk with boba and it was perfectly sweet, tart, and milky. The pearls were cooked perfectly; nice chew, sweetness was spot on and the ratio was just right. I enjoyed it. It really took me back to my childhood. Give it a try if you're ever in town. Thank you Chen Fu! I'll be coming back more often :)

Found this little hole in the wall by accident...so glad I did!!! Their bubble tea is delicious!! I had the coffee blended with boba and tried the passion fruit blended with boba too...yummy!! Love this place for bubble tea! I've tried their Thai iced tea with pearls and horchata with pearls. It's not advertised but you can ask for your drink to be less sweet which I really like. I like how authentic it seems to be, and can't go wrong supporting a small local business. Highly recommend!

Such a sweet little boba shop, just wish it was a little more inviting. Part of it looked like a warehouse and the other part was the shop, so when we walked in, I was a bit confused. The lady who greeted us and made our boba drinks was really sweet though. The drinks turned out ok, boba was a little bit too chewy, but good. It was nice to have checked this place out even though it is a bit further out from where I live. I know where to get boba whenever I am in this area. read more

Bubble tea can be hit and miss. They charge for iced water $1.75. I have not been to a place that charges for iced water, that's a bit much. I understand it's a family owned business, but I doubt the cup is that expensive. The bubble tea is also kind of expensive in comparison to other places. They only have one size. We end up throwing more than half of the kids away. They have a lot of other snacks that are kind of good too, but once again overpriced, example, $2 for one macaroon. read more

This place is pretty legit. Its literally a hole in the wall kind of place. Got their Iced Milk Tea with 75% sweetness and it was really good. I could've gotten it at 50% sweetness and felt like it still would've been sweet. Boba balls were just right. Def recommend this boba place. read more

Love that their drinks' sugar content can be manipulated! You can combine the flavors into whatever combination you want and they have great flavor choices. Of course, their most popular drink is the milk tea. Aside from the drinks, they also have a good assortment of snacks. read more

Amazing little "hole in the wall" type of shop! You won't be amazed at any expensive decor or crazy ambiance, but the humbleness and authenticity of their drinks are worth it enough to support Chen Fu Bubble Tea. The family came from Taiwan a year ago and opened up shop in Hillsboro less than 6 months ago. If that alone is not a reason to support your local shop, then I don't know! read more

A delicious bubble tea shop owns by a cute Taiwanese family. We had hot Jasmine Milk Bubble Tea and Iced Milk Bubble Tea, both half sweet. I was very happy to taste authentic Taiwanese bubble tea here. Also it is a huge cup (24oz) with a very reasonable price! We will come back again! read more

This place is amazing. Its entrance is along 9th. Its basically the back side of the mexican supermercado. We went on a Sunday around noon and it wasn't very busy. I had a taro milk tea and my husband a matcha milk tea. Both were so rich; you could tell they don't use the nasty powders most bubble tea shops use. A Spanish family came in and the owner was very friendly trying to help them order in Spanish. We cant wait to come back again! read more

This is my favorite bubble tea place- family owned and run. Plenty of flavor options for everyone. My favorite flavor I haven't seen other places before is "cotton candy" very sweet, like a milkshake dessert drink. My go to is always the Taro milk tea which is great. Stumbled upon this place when craving bubble tea. The place is very small and looks like a small warehouse turned into shop. A cute small family is making all of the bubble tea and you can see it being made right in front of you. The prices are cheap but reasonable given the wait and setting. Easily accessible parking. The wait took about 5-10 minutes. The drinks are biggggg (24 oz.). I got the milk tea and it was incredible. The milk tea was not overly sweat which was great and the bubbles were fresh. Absolutely will come again. Give this place a try! read more

Glad I found good bubble tea in Hilsboro! Was greeted right away and didn't feel rushed when I took my time looking at the menu. I usually order milk tea if it's my first time although there are many options. It was really good, I would say more milk flavor than tea. Next time I would get it less sweet. Ive found my milktea shop!! I live near closer milktea spots but after trying multiple places, ive declared this the best. This spot is a little family run spot. The father originally had a boba spot in taiwan and taught his daughters the trade. I normally like nonblended mtea, but its actually good here. I get 25% sweetness blended milktea with double lychee coconut jelly (4 scoops of jelly) because the cup is 24oz!! Huge so i recommend doubling up on the jellies for 50cents more. At $4.50, this is deals!!! Hope they never go out of business! read more

Nice people here--so I don't want to be too harsh, but very low budget experience. No storefront or atmosphere at all which made the experience feel cheap and a bit sketch. Drinks were OK, mostly just powder-based drinks. Maybe the tea ones are better? read more

My All time favorite!!! If you are a big bubble tea fan. I would say their milk tea bubble tea is my all time favorite. Their milk tea is sweet, which I like because either places make it to blend. Their level of sweet is just enough sweet for my milk tea! Milk tea is meant to be sweet. Other places makes it taste like straight black tea. Overall they're really nice, very genuine people. I love their company every time I order bubble tea. There store might not be the most high end modern bubble tea places. But they make good bubble tea, it's not always about the looks to make a drink taste good. I hope one day their store will expand!!! read more

My wife had just had her birthday and wanted to see the High Tea experience firsthand. And even better, they had tasting rooms in Beaverton and Hillsboro so we could stay local. We chose the Hillsboro location in the nice block of downtown they have. You have to make a reservation so we did. It wasn't a huge room but all tables were full on an early Saturday afternoon. They sat you at a table with mugs and fine china for a little tea party. The menu was laid out ahead of time and then you could pick the teas to have. I enjoyed them- I am not an expert but I tried a couple and liked the variety. They gave us instructions on when to drink and even a timer for when we should pour. Then the food came out- first a small bowl of broccoli cheddar soup, which was good, then the pastry and sandwich tray. I did get a picture of that. The High Tea experience is listed as "a light meal of scones, pastries, assorted treats, and finger sandwiches." That is what we got. The scones were good and about what you would expect from a nice local bakery. There were some small hors d'oeuvres like a mini quiche with bacon and cheese and then a small pastry with tomato and olive, very tasty. The finger sandwiches for that day were cucumber and cream (a British staple I am told), red pepper and hummus, and then turkey lunchmeat with goat cheese and a cranberry spread- that was my favorite. They also gave a couple treats for the last part, a macaroon and a cupcake, and then a shot glass filled with whipped cream and a strawberry jello/jam type thing. All very good, and not too much to be overwhelming. Overall, it was a delightful experience. We were happy to give it a try. The only drawback I have is that it cost about $65 per person, which I felt a little steep considering what we got. Again all the food was very good and it is meant to be a light lunch, but the portions were all so small that I don't quite feel like it added up... I could just go to a local bakery and get a variety of things with more substance, for less money. We did get to try several teas so that is part of the experience.

I was informed that I could cancel the reservation, with refund, if the change of location was inconvenient. It was, as I was treating my mother (who is 90!) and Hillsboro was too distant and too long of a day for her. I have been reaching out for the past 3 months, attempting to receive a refund, with no result. I contacted the Better Business Bureau for assistance, and they too received no response to their inquiries on my behalf. I feel it is important to share my experience, in case there are others who can benefit from it.

I just love the ambiance even though I'm usually in and out with my order. The interior is just SO cute, I'm a sucker for that particular shade of green. I appreciate that you can order ahead online. In my experience, even if you order at the kiosk, it only takes a few minutes for drinks to come out. I follow their Instagram account because they sometimes post promos on there.
