At one point, my husband had to get up and find someone just to ask for malt vinegar or tartar sauce for his beer-battered fish. The only employee he could find was the bartender. Instead of simply helping him or politely finding someone who could, she rudely responded, "You need to go ask your server." The entire reason he approached her was because we couldn't find our server. Her dismissive attitude was so unnecessary that my husband completely lost his appetite afterward. The poor service continued throughout the meal. We needed another set of utensils and napkins, but after waiting and being forgotten yet again, we eventually had to take them ourselves from an adjoining table. The drinks we ordered before receiving our food took approximately 30 minutes to arrive and only after we tracked down another server who happened to be "new" and wasn't even assigned to our table and asked about them. He was the most helpful this evening and deserves kudos for lighting a firework to get things moving. The food overall was mediocre, and the beer was unfortunately warm. I will give credit where it's due: the cocktails were good, and my teenage boys enjoyed the cheese curds we ordered as an appetizer.
