Casey's Covid Cafe. This place refused to close during the height of the pandemic. They even paid fines for it. This is a traditional diner with a long counter and then tables along a window wall. I had a burger, which was dry. Sam had a grilled cheese, which was made with the cheapest white bread and the most plasticky cheese squares available. Flavorless, she said. We've been visiting Klamath for years and this, unfortunately is the first time we've been here. I don't even remember seeing their big sign. Be warned that this is an old fashioned, no fuss diner. Very friendly, relaxed folks. Locals love the place. Awesome service. If you get Dana as your server, she'll make you feel right at home. Chicken fried steak was the best i have had in a while. I was told their bronco omelette was pretty good too. They have big servings. Coffee was typical diner style (weak). We loved it here but I wish their booths were padded. New owner and people now. They aren't as friendly. Mind you the old staff was exceptionally friendly so not to be putting the new people down. It is just different now. Went there this morning for the first time in a while and ended up just leaving because we were seated at an uncleared table, waited there for 5 minutes until table was cleared (but not wiped), asked if we wanted coffee and I said no so she brought two cups and a pot, poured my wife a cup and I said no. she left and my wife said her cup was dirty. the waitress took the cup and brought back another cup but it had a chip in the rim. Went here for breakfast with a co-worker and was happy to be able to do a sit down. I had the minced ham and scrambles eggs with haskbrowns and English muffin. Great taste and cooked just right. Coffee was typical and if you like yours strong, you may be a bit disappointed. Service was great and establishment was clean. I will be back for sure. read more

Came in from out of town!! My sister brought me to Casey's. The ambience is homey and clean. The staff were engaging!! The food was great!! I had breakfast, sis had lunch. I just went there for lunch. They were pushing the " beef stew" so I ordered it. Not impressed at all. It was like a can of soup was opened and heated up. And it tasted like canned beef soup. So I was disappointed. The place was busy with most people ordering breakfast foods. We were Crammed in like sardines in a can. Floors were dirty and the overall appearance of the cafe was just a run of the mill dirty and unorganized. You know how waitresses can be right in front of you and you've got that look of needing assistance and they won't look at you or they look in your direction yet pretend not to see you? This restaurant serves Trump supporters exclusively. I was excited to eat here after readimg the ratings. I ended up shaken and in shock. I have long haul COVID. I wear my mask still, until seated. I rarely go into restaurants. I snapped a few pictures in disbelief and within 20 seconds someone came out and started harassing me for taking photos and ordered me off the property. This is our favorite breakfast spot in Klamath Falls! The bacon is so good we often get an order to go for BLTs at home. Love bringing the grandkids here too as well as out of town company. Iy has an old-fashioned diner atmosphere, the owners work here every day and the staff are long time employees who remember you. The food is always cooked to perfection and as I mentioned the bacon is amazing. I also commend them for their patriotism, proudly displayed for all to see. Good job Casey's! read more

Best pie on planet earth. Period. Especially the Marionberry. Held back a star because I've only been in for pie and never eaten there, but it was enough to get a bad impression from a couple waitresses who were rather moody. Granted there are a few that are super sweet, but last time I was in I ordered a few pieces of pie to go, and the waitress asked if I wanted to leave a tip on the charge slip... because for some reason this is the only place in existence where you have to do that first... when I said no (you got me a piece of pie... it took 30 secs...) I got QUITE the eye-roll... and she was sure I saw it. Hi! I'm a paying customer. Have we met? I wasn't aware you were entitled to a tip for 30 seconds of work and/or by virtue of your existence. Lame. Do I tip the guy at McDonalds for giving me a drink cup I fill myself? Didn't think so. One day I was complaining to my aunt how I can never find good pie in the Bay Area. "All I want is a cup of coffee and a slice of pie! Is that too much to ask for?!" My aunt decided since I was complaining about lack of good pie in my life, that she would take me to Casey's. We arrived around 3 or 4 pm on a weekday, and it was bustling. There were at least 10+ people in the restaurant, and it seems like only one waitress working. The service was a bit slow, but I feel like with that many customers and that short staff, it wasn't that bad when put into perspective. My aunt and I ordered two slices of apple pie ala mode with coffee. The apple pie was AMAZING! A flaky crust dusted with sugar and cinnamon covered the pie. The apples were tart, but not obnoxiously so, and went well with the vanilla ice cream. The apples were smothered in a cinnamon sauce that seemed as if it were simmered to perfection. They were crisp, yet tender. IT WAS THE PERFECT SLICE OF PIE! I wish that piece of pie was never ending. Long story short, come here for pie. I know I'll be back. read more

This place rocks. Seriously. Don't get me wrong, though...It's kind of filthy. The carpets are old, and there's dust everywhere. HOWEVER, the service was small-town-diner-fast-and-friendly, and the food is really, really good. It's seriously affordably priced; two breakfasts plus coffee came in at around $17. My eggs were cooked perfectly, over-medium. The bacon is delicious, as are the hashed browns. Hot, strong coffee... This is our new go-to for breakfast, for sure. read more

Much better than Black Bear Diner. This is an old school diner with the usual fare. Based on the conversations overheard, this place has a lot of regular customers. I was told by a local that this place was the spot for breakfast. I sat at the counter and ordered Denver omelette and coffee. Coffee was weak and unremarkable but I didn't expect great coffee at a place like this. My omelette was huge with a large side of hash browns $8.99, wheat toast on the side. It tasted fresh and well prepared. I was pretty hungry but couldn't finish my plate. Will be back tomorrow for my last breakfast in Klamath Falls before returning home. read more

Caseys is such a good breakfast place, that I have yet to stop in for lunch. I like that you can get breakfast all day. I like the good old standard eggs and bacon breakfast. The french toast is good too, especially with strawberries. I am guessing the lunch is just as good by how busy this little place is during the day. This place has been here as long as I can remember (late70's). My parents avoided this place in the 80's. I have currently move back to the area and wanted try this for myself. We ordered 2 burgers. Both where dry and tasteless. The fries where fresh cut which was exciting. However They taste like fish. So I'm guessing the oil is old and fish had been cooked at some point recently. Looking around, the place was full but with an older crowd. We had found the elders hang out. No problem if the food is tasty. Sadly is was not and it was just a depressing atmosphere. read more

This is another one of those places that may not look like much from the outside, but the food speaks for itself. Breakfast, available all day, is good home cooking style with generous portions. We were told about the prime rib on the weekends and finally had a chance to check it out. We will be back! Delicious and tender! Casey's is a great down home 'git er done' kind of place, the food is good, good portions, and very quick service. Usually my 'go to' breakfast place when I am near by. A word of caution.. don't put on any airs when you're there, most of the customers and the waitresses are not impressed. A true reflection of local sentiment towards the world can be found there.
